This was our first time trying Jimmy John's and unfortunately it was awful. We ordered the chicken caesar wrap, tuna wrap, and a turkey sandwich. Everything was delivered stale and flavorless -- the bread was hard, nothing had seasoning, and the "chicken" in my caesar wrap didn't taste like chicken at all. I've tried going back a few times to give them another chance, but the parking lot is always a mess, the drive-thru never moves, and I can never find parking. A little off the beaten path we arrived at Jimmy John's around 11:40 AM. Our family included 4 kids and 4 adults for lunch. This Jimmy John's is near an adventure business that heavily impacts the restaurant around lunch. This location also has a drive through. We made it just before the lunch rush. Our order did not take long and we were very fortunate to find seating. I opted for the Beach Club and my wife had the Tom Turkey. Sandwiches were okay and we both upgraded to the drink and chips for a few extra dollars. This is a place that expects tips for ordering at the counter and although I sometimes think it gets ridiculous I break down and leave a nice tip. Restrooms are clean and they have abundant seating outside, this Jimmy John's is a pretty nice place to grab a bite at noon. My only advice would be to beat the crowd from the adventure school/business. Otherwise good luck finding a seat and be prepared to practice your peepee dance. Fast & Delicious! I have lived in Glenwood Springs for 6 years, and occasionally stop here when I need a quick bite. I have never been disappointed. I usually order either the Chicken Caesar Wrap or a Tuna Sandwich. Today I tried the new Pesto Pasta Salad, as a side, and it was honestly pretty damn good. Also, the staff here has always been friendly in my experience. I typically use the drive through, so I haven't eaten inside. But I've never questioned the quality or cleanliness of the food preparation. I saw the other review regarding a fly trap. This is a fast food restaurant. It has multiple doors and a drive through. It's inevitable that they might get a fly every now and then, just like any other restaurant, home or apartment. The fly trap is actually a good thing for me, so I know that if a small fly were to make it into the building, they would be stuck on a fly trap instead of on my food. To anyone hungry for something fast and delicious, please don't be deterred by other customers ignorance! It was super clean inside, everyone was friendly and energetic, and I blinked once and my order was ready already!!! I mean they work miracles here lol How could you not give it 5 stars?! And the food was so fresh. I loved the bread, not sure what kind it is but it was very tasty and didn't get soggy with all the toppings and fillings. I did the veggie sandwich and it was satisfying, I scarfed that bad boy down! I'd go as far as saying this place whips out the best sandwiches in Colorado... Super disappointed with the management today when we placed our order. The last time we stopped at this Jimmy John's it was a fantastic experience, the cashier was very friendly and directed us to the receipt where you can scan the QR code to sign up for their rewards program. Which, would have been awesome to use at our visit today, but as we were checking out and the cashier was looking up our account, the MANAGER yelled over to her, "Is that the 5off20 reward, yeah we don't honor that here". I'm am utterly disappointed in this food establishment because of many reasons. First we didn't get one of the drinks we ordered, when we told the delivery guy he said he would come back with it and never did. Second we got stuff taken off our sandwiches and stuff put on, that was not taken under consideration when they were making our sandwiches. I paid extra for provolone and didn't revive any. We then called the establishment to talk this over and once again they said they would call right back and never did. I like that they have a drive up window but at this location the service is horrible and four times in a row they have screwed up my simple order and I don't realize it until I'm back at work and it's to late to do anything about it. Great service and tasty food! I usually brown bag it for lunch, but JJ's is not too far from where I work so I pop over there occasionally for lunch. I have probably eaten there 25+ times in the year it has been open and the thing that is so surprising is how they are consistently great at what they do. Always greeted promptly, always incredibly clean, always fresh tasting and always faster than I think is possible. Don't go there expecting chicken fingers or soup, they only do subs, but damn they do them well. I used to eat here alot but recently the quality of their food has taken a dive. A friend who worked here and quit said to not eat their turkey because they had issues with the farm that supplied their turkey having avian flu and they said to keep it on the hush hush. My fiance loved their #7 smoked ham sandwich. The last few times we have eaten from this place we both ended up having severe diarrhea and stomach pains. I have seen in the back before and it is simply disgusting.We both thought the first time it was just something we ate earlier that day but in a total of 3 times in a row eating here the same has happened. From the helpful staff while ordering, to the owner (Matt) that helped deliver, lunch went off without a hitch. Matt even offered to come back if there was something more I needed. My staff raved about the sandwiches (chips and cookies), and the way the food was presented, made it easy for people to get what they wanted quickly and efficiently. They thought of everything! Got a sandwich with tomato, no lettuce, and the meat was unevenly distributed throughout the bread so half the sandwich only had a thin layer of a single folded slice of roast beef.
