bacon strips on a white plate

Holy Glenwood, Batgirl! Breakfast at Local was the most expensive meal of our entire trip! $10 for a side of potatoes? In our defense, we weren't paying that much attention. (I tend to order side dishes b/c I'm lately eating lighter...) so we weren't expecting to drop over $40 for pancakes, 3 strips of bacon, 1 cup of coffee, 2 eggs, and potatoes. Yeah, yeah, I know: resort town. No excuse! I want to be glad to spend that kind of money on a meal on vacation! And this time we just felt, well, you know...yeah, that. My two scrambled eggs looked more like four but the issue was: were they real eggs or fake? Swimming in grease, I could only eat a small portion of them. Rubbery. Thin, measley strip of bacon. These fried potatoes paled in comparison to yesterday's. Pancakes were good. Sorry to sound so critical but we really felt ripped off by this meal.

Great local spot for breakfast! We picked this place because it steps around the corner from the Denver Hotel. We figured breakfast would be pretty busy at 10am, but when we got there we were only one of a few guests. You order at the counter and wait for your food to be served. I had the breakfast tacos with sausage and my husband had the breakfast burrito. We both had a side of fruit which was super fresh! Everything came out quicker and looked amazing. The food was fresh, the green chili had a nice tang and overall we had a quick and healthy breakfast. Would definitely recommend this as a quick breakfast stop - you can go wrong.

Cute breakfast spot with pretty good grab and go type of food. It was freezing inside the morning we went for breakfast, so definitely plan on wearing your coat inside while you eat and order a warm beverage!

Breakfast burrito and avocado toast (added an egg)

Great spot for breakfast! We ate here 2 days in a row and a 3rd is likely. Super clean, hand sanitizer, masks, single use plastic ware, spaced seating, all make it a very nice place to dine in (or take out). Breakfast burritos are delicious, excellent ratio of eggs, cheese, potatoes, onions (and added bacon) plus salsa. The avocado toast is delicious too. I added an over medium egg and it was perfectly satisfying. One of the highlights is Local's coffee. The drip coffee is so good that we each ordered an extra cup to go after dining. The food is healthy and delicious, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is peaceful and chill. This is my go-to breakfast spot in Glenwood Springs. Some day we'll try lunch but for now I can definitely recommend breakfast!

We found this great breakfast lunch place unexpectedly. We were driving around and our Google search gave us local coffee places but somehow didn't show us this place. The food is great has such a wonderful variety of breakfast choices. Coffee is delicious ! Kids loved it. And if you are sweet lover local on cooper has very good selection of deserts. I recommend this place and we give 5 stars!!!

I am normally a red sauce eater but the green (probably the weak Sendy) was really good. Not spicy but full of flavor. Service was excellent again. 1st visit: I've been in Colorado for nearly two weeks and this has probably been the best meal I've had so far, even after dining in Aspen (Clark's, Aspen Public House) and Boulder (Flagstaff, the Kitchen American Bistro). I love chorizo tacos and the ones here served with potatoes and fried egg with a side of chips and salsa was one of the best I've ever had and I think that's says a lot after living a lifetime in Texas. The hot dog was flavorful and probably a foot long. It was served with lightly salted french fries that reminded me if the ones my mom used to make me. The Bloody Mary was also very good and slightly spicy although it was only garnished with a lime and no olives. The place is very small, seats maybe a couple of dozen indoors but there is also outdoor seating. Service was very friendly.

I'm leaving yet another... 5 star review for The Pullman because every year I come dine at this…read morerestaurant I am blown away. First off, the most notable thing about this experience was the genuinely most amazing waitress I think I have ever encountered, Grace. Grace was the kindest soul, she took such amazing care of us and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Me and my family will go out to eat now and say "she was good but not as good as Grace". Second off, The food was AMAZING per usual. I had the Wagyu steak and it was cooked perfectly, I usually hate going out for steak because I find it to never be seasoned as much as I'd like but this took the cake. The blue cheese dip with chips was so delicious, like possibly one of the best things we have ever tasted. We also tried to carrot cake sorbet which I know sounds odd but it was so delicious, you can tell the kitchen staff puts their heart and soul into this food. My husband got the special, which was like a Turkish ricotta stuffed pasta and it was AMAZING. Even my sister who got the wagyu burger, AMAZING. My only critique was the hostess was very rude to my family for no reason when we walked in which almost turned my parents off from trying to the most amazing restaurant. Luckily, the service got amazing after that. Everyone was so kind and helping everyone, just a great atmosphere. They also had the Knicks game playing which was great haha. I can't wait to come back next summer for my favorite meal despite living states away we will always make it back to The Pullman.

I started with the pickled deviled eggs - little vinegar taste with a slightly sweet filling is a perfect combination. 10/10 The Steak Tartare is unlike any tartare I've ever had before. It comes on this homemade tater-tot that's shaped kind of like a piece of bread or a cracker. I wasn't expecting it, but it made the dish. There is some sort of sauce drizzled, which tastes like an egg yolk base. I scraped it with my fork so I could eat all of it! So delicious! Finished with the Pierogies. Handmade, thin wrappers with perfect, delicious filling. It comes in a bowl with an amazing sauce I couldn't get enough of. I literally used a spoon to drink it! If you're in town, get a reservation - they are very busy!!! It's worth it!

Sandy was my server and she was great. Attentive without hovering, the kind of service you'd expect at a much fancier place. I decided to move from the bar to a high top when my salad arrived and she immediately jumped in to help me get resettled. Later my napkin slid off my lap and she had a fresh one down before I even reached for it. I ordered the Rocky Mountain Ribeye with fingerling potatoes, green peppercorn sauce, gorgonzola, and braised onions. It came out thinner than I usually like my steak cut, so I was a little skeptical at first, but it was cooked perfectly and very tender. The gorgonzola on top made the dish. The flavors were incredible! The fingerlings were fine but forgettable. Didn't matter -- the steak carried the plate. I also had the side salad, which I almost didn't bother with, but as it turned out, the ranch dressing was scratch-made and they toss in thin-sliced green apple, which really elevated a simple side salad. Can't figure out why this place wasn't busier. Food and service this solid deserve a full room.

Windows give a lot of inside light, decent spacing between tables so you don't feel awkward or squished. We were seated quickly. The host and servers were all nice and checked on us regularly. We started with drinks- my wife had an Irish coffee (strong!) and I had a Bloody Mary; this thing was LOADED with celery, carrot, something pickled, bacon, etc and it was divine. I wish I had taken a picture of the menu because it had some different offerings compared to what is currently on the website so unfortunately, I cannot recall the names of what we ordered but they were both fantastic! Descriptions as follows- My wife had some kind of pork hash with 2 poached eggs and caramelized onions that was melt in your mouth delish! It was a fairly large serving; she ended up saving about half of it for a meal later. I ordered a dish that had caramelized sweet potatoes, spinach, smoked salmon, spinach, mushrooms, poached eggs and an aioli - this was delightfully fresh but also filling. All the "ratios" of ingredients felt perfectly matched. Overall, if I am ever back in this area I will definitely be stopping here again!
