Seems like a fun place to work with all the staff behind the counter cutting up and laughing; however, I came here for a for lunch were they didn't put the right stuff on my sandwich and when I told them what I was missing they looked at me like I had lost my mind. The roast beef was delicious and the bread was great just their customer service was bad and also turn down the music so I can talk with my wife while we eat. Holy lightning fast, Batman! I ordered a couple of sandwich trays for a lunch, hoping and praying they could swing it for me as it was a last minute decision. I literally ordered the trays, grabbed napkins, etc to carry with me and when I turned around, it was complete and ready to go! WOWZERS!!! I have grabbed sandwiches for myself from this location before and I love it SOOOO much better than Subway. 1st, the staff is way cooler, 2nd, the break is AH-mazing, and 3rd, it is super fast, like weirdly fast to be handmade right there in front of you. Do these folks go to some kind of Jimmy John's bootcamp?!?! I will def be back and love that this location is easy to get in and out of, especially near the hospital! read more

Love Jimmy Johns! Food quality: 3.5/5 Food is good, try just for $1 more their whole wheat bread. Its 2 giant thick slices of heavenly bread. Makes u feel healthy eating all the mayo, and fat. The one knock I may have it just feels that there isn't a whole lot of variety, haven't tried everything, but reading their menu seems like things are repeated alot of times with one change or another. Service: 4/5. Seems like an army of workers. almost may be overdoing it. I guess its for their super quick service. When you walk in you are greeted which is nice, and ur sandwich is made super quick. There always seems to be those jimmy john's delivery cars every where in the city. They do deliver really quick even when order online. When I come home from work, its just so easy to get a sandwich from there. Decor: 3.5/5 pretty cool place for a sandwich shop. I have been to this place many times over the past few years. Recently I placed an order and paid to have cheese added to the sandwich. When it was delivered there was no cheese. I called and the manager offered me a credit, a new sandwich or to send someone out with the cheese (kinda weird). I said they could send me a new sandwich. Figuring they had offered to give me a credit I assumed that the old sandwich was mine. I added my own cheese and started eating since I was starving. 20 minutes later a delivery guy shows up with another sandwich and asks for the old one. I was like screw it. J already put my own better cheese on this thing and started eating. If you have to go back with a sandwich take the one in your hands with you. Other coworkers have had problems with this place screwing up even simple requests. The manager said it was because he had a turn over of 40-50 people in tbe last month. At 8:10pm I sat at a locked door while one of the workers stared at me while talking on the phone. I pulled on the door several times while he just kept talking. Myself and my coworkers (physicians included) order from this location quite often. Only twice have I had an issue. The first was handled well by the manager (a male). This last issue is what prompted this review. I had an issue with an order being incorrect and spoke with BRITTANY. I have to say that this was the most unprofessional encounter that I've had with anyone at any establishment thus far. From her tone of voice, her making me feel like the issue was not their fault and the "solution" to the problem... I am not at all satisfied. I'm very annoyed and I will probably discourage others from ordering from this location if this is the kind of service we will get if ever there is a problem. That child needs a serious attitude adjustment and possibly retraining on how to deal with customers. Especially loyal customers. I will certainly not be ordering anytime soon, if ever. The service was slow. I ordered the sandwich toasted, they served it cold. They didn't even offer napkins to go with the meal, a smile or anything that would make a patron feel welcomed and appreciated there. The management of the place should really re-evaluate her staff. Seriously! Until they've made some vast improvements, I'll never eat there again and will recommend that my friends and family don't either. read more

This is truly fast food in Greenville. None of that wait-in-line in your car, pull up to some talk-box and yell. Pull up, walk in, get your order, friendly people put it together, walk out in seconds. When I'm actually in a hurry to pick something up before work, this is where I go. They'll even deliver any size order - even just a single sandwich. They're in kind of an odd location, but I hope they survive. I called multiple times and no-one answered. Finally a day later I talked to an employee, he said they closed at 11, that's why, and that I had ordered after 11. I showed him my ticket (online), then the manager came and lied to me (she said that they closed early). Then I said I rode by at 11 30 and that the store was still on and full of employees, and she said that she knew they were gone by then, which is a lie because I rode by the Jimmy John's at 11:40 and even then it was still full. Thoroughly disappointed in Jimmy Johns today. Vidant Medical Center as a whole has a discount of a free pickle, chips, or cookie for hospital week. Apparently you have to be in the store to receive that. Disappointed for 2 reasons: there is no disclaimer for that anywhere & when my food was brought to me that's when I was told about it, not on the phone when I placed my order. Does this location not realize how many deliveries you make to this hospital? You get your business while you DELIVER to our workplace while we are working. Yet can't offer us our discount then? Terribly inconsistent. More often than not any more the bread is hard and ingredients aren't fresh. Jimmy Johns was one of my favorite lunches but I'll never order again. They're skimping on the avocado in the Beach Club now: you can hardly find it. Plus a sandwich and a little bag of chips for $8.75 is pretty pricey for what you get.
