A great place to stop for a sandwich on your way home from the gym as I do or probably anytime. During the day the staff is always welcoming and friendly, the bread and all ingredients are fresh, and the sandwich is made before you can pour your drink. Unfortunately in the evening I cannot say the same about the staff's welcoming, friendliness, and especially their attitude although it's primarily 1 employee. Fortunately the day shift and the 2 girls who sometimes work nights make up for the 2 guys and especially the 1 who has a serious attitude problem. I live closer to the Florida City Jimmy John's but they're always so RUDE & UNFRIENDLY. You walk in and they never greet you. After a problem with my order at that store I asked the manager Thailine for her name & she refused to give it to me! So i called later and an employee answered & gave me her name. I later went to the one in 8th ST instead & WHAT A DIFFERENCE! So friendly & nice! & they have good portions. I will definitely be making the longer drive for that customer service. This place makes the fastest sandwiches ever. I walked in at about 1:45 or so to pick up two subs. I ordered the first one and they immediately started making it while I was ordering the second one. When I was done paying I went down to the end of the counter and waited about 30 seconds, and my sandwiches were ready. the team there today should be congratulated. hard to find fast service like that. the sandwiches are good as well and the ingredients seem fresh. read more

I ordered today for the first time through DoorDash. I ordered two sandwiches and two cokes that ran me around $20, not including tip. I ordered two sandwiches , on wheat bread. All the pictures on door dash show hoagies - 8 inches or 16 in. I chose the 8 inches. When it arrived and I opened the package , I saw the sorriest sandwich on wheat sliced toast. I immediately called the store and they said they stopped carrying wheat hoagies six months ago and got an I'm sorry, that's it. This Jimmy John location left a bad taste in my mouth. I usually love their subs, especially the roast beef. When they location opened up I was excited that it was near my home. I ordered a sub to-go. When I took a bite of it at my house the roast beef was nothing but fat. It was disgusting, uneatable. We called to complain and the night shift manager quickly apologized and said they would note the system to give us credit next time. We went a few weeks later and the same manager refused to give is the credit. She said there was nothing in the system and that we must have claimed the credit; apparently we looked like scammers. After some back and fourth she agreed to give us the sub but we had to pay extra for the cheese. Although our original uneatable order had cheese. Keep in mind guys, this is fairly new location. So they most likely will be on point with quality, service, speed, cleanliness, customer service etc.. I have eaten there once and had no issue. They unfortunately did MOT blow my mind but it was mediocre. The floor was clean, and of course the bathroom was flawless. No broken pipes, dirty sink, lack of Soap, peeling latex ...you know what I'm talking about! Lol The Sandwich was tasty and I like their size, like a long bullet. While the girl upfront was doing my sandwich, another guy was cleaning a slicer, had gloves on, then dipped and rinsed the wash rag in the water recipient he was using. Came up and expected to take over the meats, finishing the sandwich. I saw him and confronted him, he tried to get out of it, took gloves off, put others on and said "no problem". I actually have never had a sandwich from any jimmy johns location before. The nearest one from my old home was rather far away and I did not feel like driving to eat a sandwich. Now that I live close to one I decided to try it out. I had an Italian night club sandwich and added bacon. The sandwich was delicious. Certainly better than any subway sandwich I have had. Jimmy johns definitely puts more meat in their sandwiches...heck when I got it I thought...wow this is a big sandwich. Would I come back here...definitely...especially may eat from here again since I found out they deliver. Is is my favorite chain sandwich place....no I still prefer Charlie's or Firehouse subs. Horrible, ordered a roast beef sub with double meet no veggies, cheese on white with mayo. Saw them putting veggies on, asked them to take them off. Also ordered tuna sub. Got home roast beef sandwich had ham and mustard on it. Tuna was loaded with celery. Went back to restaurant and they told me I ordered everything that way! First time ever having a jimmy johns sub.! Amazing. I'm not a big sub/sandwich person, but I've become obsessed with there Sub!

I love Jimmy Johns and all throughout college it was my go to in between classes and baseball practice. I credit this to them being so fast when they deliver, the subs being delicious, and the great customer service. Unfortunately the one down here in Homestead doesn't hold up. I've ordered from this location before without a problem as my house is a 9 minute drive away. Today, I called an hour prior to closing on a Saturday and was told they don't deliver to my house because it is too far by the employee and then the manager. It clearly seems like it's too late to have to leave the store to go make a delivery on a Saturday night. I can't imagine the store is that busy tonight and as a manager don't you want the business? Instead, the manager came on the phone and told me that I have only ordered from there once according to my phone number and that it was delivered by mistake with an attitude.
