This location opened about 13 years ago, and ever since, it's been keeping Kendall residents well fed with some seriously best hamburgers. On my latest last Saturday,, I went with my usual favorite a double meat cheeseburger with the work, fries, and a strawberry milkshake. The burger was juicy and cooked just right, the fries were fresh and crispy, and the milkshake... wow. Thick, creamy, and full of real strawberry flavor. Honestly one of the best shakes around. The staff here always do a great job. They're friendly, well trained, and quick, which makes the whole experience smooth. The place is also kept very clean, which I really appreciate. And of course, you can't forget the free peanuts in the shell while you wait. It's a small thing, but it's part of what makes Five Guys feel like Five Guys. My husband is in a salt restricted diet. One of the only businesses that doesn't add salt to its burgers. When I order the fries salt free they pour them in a separate bin and bring out a clean scooper never a problem. That customer service is hard to beat. read more

This was my first visit to a Five Guys, everyone always raves about it. I was in the mood for a burger so decided to give it a try. The girl who took my order, ordered the regular size burger instead of the "little" I ordered (single patty) So it was 2 patties of meat, a little overwhelming. It is nice you can add toppings, such as mushrooms, for no additional price. I assume they just factor this into the pricing? But if you like burgers plain, you will still be paying $9, not good. The burger was good, juicy and fresh. Fries were normal. The prices are a bit high, everything is al carte. It felt like a knock off of In & Out but with free peanuts. After I placed the order less than two minutes after I decided to cancel because it was way too much money. I then got hit with a $50 cancellation fee. They kept my money because they told Uber they started working on the order. Less than two minutes after placing it? What a scam. Was in need of a good burger filled with veggies so thought, five guys, why not?! I love this place. Simple menu and ingredients but full of flavor, and cooked to order in front of you. The fries are peeled fresh daily and come in two varities, original or Cajun. You can also enjoy complimentary peanuts as you wait. All toppings are free so you can pile the veggie love on. For the vegetarians out there, you can also enjoy grilled cheese or a veggie sandwich. I've actually had the veggie sandwich and it was really good, especially with grilled onions. Beverages are self serve and come in a variety of flavors. You also have the option of "little" or regular sized burgers. I always get the little because it's more then big enough. I skip the American cheese and opt for the sauces on the side to keep this already greasy burger from falling apart and becoming mushy. Try it! When I'm in the mood for red meat...cheap...and lots of it, I order the Bacon Burger (its 2 patties) no cheese and any sauces on the side. I used to like the Cajun fries but they are ao heavily seasoned that I need a gallon of water to go with them. So I do the Regular fries. The "Little" size is more than enough for one person. I went to this Five Guys to see the location, and to compare the fries with the Midtown Miami restaurant. Firstly, it is easy to park there (for free!), unlike at Midtown Miami. Secondly, as at the other location, the fresh and tasty fries could be better. Their cooking and serving method leaves them limp. I had a hot dog on this visit. It was a 1/4 pound all-beef beauty, split and grilled. I got grilled onions and mustard - all of the basic toppings that they have for the hamburgers are available. Comparing to fast food chains like chick-fil-a, Wendy's and Mcdonalds, the burgers and fries quality taste and feels a lot better in your mouth. Comparing it to burger joints/ restaurants like burger fi, los verdes, fudrucker, shake shack or what not it doesn't come close. I've came here about 10 times in the span of 2 years for a few reasons. I come here for the juicy yet greasy burgers (they use peanut oil) and hefty amount of fries for a "small" fries. Basically I come here to get "full" feeling while wanting better quality than Burger King burgers. Pros: - unlimited peanuts up for grabs - unlimited toppings as you purchase the burger - can triple/quad stack a burger - cajun fries option - all meats are well done low chance of getting sick - you will get full - patties are cook to order (don't know if they come frozen, I assume so) Cons: - this specific place is cold no matter where you sit -only use a sesame seed bun that gets soggy after too many toppings - no trays (dine in/take out) only paper bags. Kinda sucks for people who order take out and have grease stains come out of the bag and onto their clothing/car seats - my personal visual judgement of people's willing to work here: they don't want to work, just a clock in/out type of job for them - all meats are well done can't ask for other temperatures/heats of the meat (I prefer medium) - excessive amount of grease on patties and fries after ALL ten times of eating here my stomach didn't feel too well. (Always giving it another chance after the previous visit to see if it's just my stomach) Overall I recommend it to try if you want something better than the basics (MDs, Bk, etc) but get a bang for your buck for the quality you are paying for. read more

Have any of you ordered this garbage to go? If you do, don't put the bag on the seat of your car nor on the floor because it will leave a huge grease stain. The first time I tried FIve Guys Heartattack and Fries, I ate at the establishment. I found everything a little bit greasy, but it tasted pretty good and I figured that every good burger is going to be a little bit greasy. After getting it to go and seeing a huge grease puddle on my floor mat, not to mention the paper bag was falling apart, I threw it in the garbage and vowed to never return. That's fuck'n disgusting. The cajun fries do taste good, so that is the only reason it get's 2 stars. If zero stars were an option, then I'd give this place the 1 star that it truly deserves. You're better off paying a little bit more for an immense burger at chili's or any other chain restaurant. read more
