I'm a fan of Jimmy John's! There is a new one close to the house which can be problematic at times, but this review isn't about that location and/or my occasional addiction to freaky fast quality food/service. This location is no different then any of the other places. Remember freaky fast starts with you. When you get to the counter they are asking you what you would like. They have 6 - 8 regular subs to choose from or you can go with larger selections (basically more meat and condiments) on a larger piece of bread. I can be a creature of habit at some locations and this happens to be one of those. I always end up going with the #5 Vito which as the name would suggest is an Italian masterpiece. They add free toppings such as lettuce, onion, tomato, hot pepper (by request) as well as sprouts (again by request). Oil and vinegar top it all off. The chip they offer are of the Kettle cooked variety and include BBQ, jalapeno, sea salt, plain, etc. Good sweet tea too! Freaky fast, freaky good.....can you really ask for more? read more

This is one of the worst sites. I ordered a sandwich and I was told I earned a reward. This competent staff forgot to put my reward in with the order and I didn't find out until I returned home. I called the store and someone explained I could pick it up any time and the person would leave a note for the staff. I got back several days later and the worker there tells me "her hands are tied" bc there is no note and basically I'm out of luck until I can produce a receipt. Apparently, they cannot look up my status or rewards, so I earned nothing. This place is a sham and this is not an isolated incident. Before one is quick to judge on my 3 star rating let me say the food is awesome! I rreeeaalllyyy am into customer service so it almost got a 2 star from me and after I ate the meal I raised it a star;) ..The food alone would have given it a 5 star from me. However, I am a whole package kinda customer. Upon arrival there is a huge menu to the right with alot of options and even a lettuce wrap option for those of us gluten free folks that still want to eat really tasty food. They definitely packed it with a good amount of meat which was very good quality. They even had sprouts as one of their free veggie add on so,major plus there! I could not believe how well the lettuce wrap was done in comparison to other places that offer something similar. It was crunchy but flexible and big enough to fit the quantity of what would go on a normal sub. It was truly impressive Let's talk about the customer service. Call me crazy but if I go somewhere else to pay money for food and for preperation of it then I would atleast like to know me ordering is not a burden to the staffs day. It seemed like a bunch of high school kids that just got out of school were running the place so maybe they must have been excited school was out. Excitement I can handle so let's go into detail.... after ordering the lettuce wrap the counter guy tells me he is out of lettuce wraps...which in reality the girl just did not feel like taking more lettuce off of the head(which last time I checked only takes 6 seconds). Another guy happened to over hear her and luckily interjected THAT OF COURSE THEY HAD LETTUCE. they never run out of lettuce. She sighed and proceeded to continue in the making of the wrap. The guy at the counter however, was sweet and was just going off of what he was told.... i happened to get an entire ear full of gossip between social circles of the same girl and another employee while I was there. I wanted to not listen but it was too loud to ignore.....final result .... I definately will go back to give it one more chance because the food really was fantastic. read more

The office orders frequently from this location. Delivery is usually pretty prompt, and we haven't experienced any errors with our orders. I really like their unwiches, with the Tom Turkey being my go to. They do get busy during the work week lunch hour. They were swamped this past Thursday. Even though the delivery was really late, they were sincerely apologetic, and threw in a coupon for a free sub in everyone's bag. No establishment runs perfect 100% of the time, but with good customer service when things go awry, will keep the people coming back as it is for us with this location. read more

I know it's a franchise but they have great bread. The ingredients are fresh and they are SUPER quick with the sandwiches. Thy have their own chips and the price is very reasonable. I got one of their large premium subs chips and a drink for a little over $9. Good stuff. read more

I have never been to Jimmy John's before today. In fact, I've never heard of the place until today. The bread is definitely the star of the sandwich. It is fresh and is much better than the average sub sandwich fast food. The staff was generous with the meat/cheese and a little heavy handed with the condiments, but overall a good sandwich. It was a little confusing being my first time there and seeing several menus posted all over and it looked like there were too many employees squished into a small space. I received a sandwich within an acceptable time frame. It did not; however, induce an adverse reaction as the advertisement suggests. I've had the italian night club with hot peppers a few times and it is very good. Far superior to anything I've ever had at any Subway. The bread and hot peppers in particular stand out as exceptional, for an inexpensive fast food, faux deli offering. It has been my experience the preparers are heavy handed with the mayo FYI. The lettuce herb onion mixture may be a bit overpowering to some. I like it personally. The other day a friend pointed me in the direction of the nutritional information regarding my selection. This sandwich contains roughly 1000 calories, over 54 g fat, 15 g saturated fat and nearly 2500 mg sodium. Yea so not exactly a healthy option. The quantity of mayo doused on my sandwich could bump these already high numbers quite significantly. Synopsis: Get the hot peppers! Make sure you tell the preparer to cool it with the mayo. The sandwich is good for an occasional treat, the differential for the seemingly healthier options such as the beach club are materially better, but still high. As infrequently as I eat there I'll likely order the night club next time I go despite my dumb friend making me aware of the dumb nutritional information. read more

My office order lunch from here couple of weeks ago and after paying for my meal, they left it out of the entire order. I didn't notice this until my co-worker that went and got it, came back to the office and everyone had a sandwich but me. I called and talked to the store manager and after telling him what happened, he pretty much told me I was wrong, it was my fault and that I didn't actually pay. He told me he could do nothing else for me. My co-worked that picked the food up and that was positive she paid for my meal called back and spoke with him again. After a 10 minute conversation, he finally realized that it was their fault and said that he "guesses" he would refund my money. Its been 3 weeks and I still haven;t been credited. I am a regular at this Jimmy John's. I go 1-2 times a week and the Food has always come out fresh and tasty, and the staff has been nothing but friendly until today. Today I went in and got a Frenchie, which is a sandwich that is over a foot long. I asked the cashier if they could cut it in half for me and she didn't see why it would be a problem. The manager, named Kristina or Catherine, I believe, a heavyset young woman with brown hair, literally threw my sandwich back to the front counter and said that they cannot cut it in half for me. I then went around to the other window and asked her why and she proceeded to ignore me and turn away. I asked if she was ignoring me and without looking up at me she said "no we just will not cut your sandwich" and blew me off and turned away again. I could tell the other workers were very confused as to why she was being so rude to me for no reason, as was I. I immediately left feeling very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I would really encourage the owner or general manager to address the attitude problem with this specific employee as she is creating awful customer experiences.
