This is for the Maple Leaf Dr location - I purchased a meal for 2. When I got home they had given us the wrong sandwich. I called the store and they admitted they gave us someone else's sandwich and would refund our money. Today I found they had charged an additional $10.71 to my bank account. I called the store and spoke to an extremely rude "manager" named Logan who said he couldn't return my money. He wouldn't give me his last name or the name of his GM. Garbage service and food. Ordered online Wednesday night. Got a wrap and a sandwich, tipped $5 cash. Waited 10 minutes, they got the order wrong and put about a half slice of meat on the wrap. Called to complain but was very nice toward them because things happen. They told me they would refund me for the sandwich. They called me back an hour later and they said the best they could do was give me an $8 credit next time I came in. The sandwich costed $10 initially. While Jimmy John's may not be the cheapest sub, nor do you get the biggest sub for the buck, it certainly hits the spot if you need the food quick and guaranteed satisfaction with every bite. Every Jimmy John's sandwiches are tasty. I've tried nearly all of them. My favorite is the ultimate porker and the beach club with peppers. I just wish it was a tad cheaper and more filling. This was my first time in this Jimmy Johns, and I am not sure why but my reloaded gift card was coming up invalid or not activated, though when I pulled up the balance on the website it had a balance. Britany was able to get me taken care of in the most professional way possible and resolve the issue I was experiencing, she took ownership! I also witnessed another small issue another customer was experiencing and I saw I believe one of the managers absolutely wanted to go above and beyond to make the situation correct, even though these issues could have stemmed outside of their store. We order from this store at least 1-2 times per week. My husband ALWAYS orders the gargantuan. This time, we had to wait 30+ minutes for the order to arrive and then it came drowned in sauce. There was so much oil and vinegar on the sandwich that the paper was see through. Upon calling the store to request a new sandwich, the worker argued with us about how they made it and told us it was our fault and to order light sauce next time. They did replace the sandwich but the worker on the phone kept saying "you have to give the other sandwich back" (which we planned to do anyway since he kept saying it's supposed to come like that) And to top it off, he blamed the mistake on the OWNER OF THE STORE. read more

This is more or less with corporate; however, Jimmy John's really needs to update their website. Today is Customer Appreciation Day and I was looking up a sub that I wanted to get. The problem relates to the toppings listed and are mismatched in two different areas. Take, for instance, the Totally Tuna. When you click on the menu tab, it describes it as coming with "fresh housemade tuna, mixed with celery, onions & our tasty sauce (I am not the FDA, so I am not going to inquire on what that may be), then topped with cucumber, lettuce, and tomato." Great right? But when you click on the actual sandwich, it lists "Tuna, cucumber, lettuce & tomato." Then you have sandwiches where both descriptions match; however, when you click on the sandwich, it shows another topping. In this case, with the Turkey Tom, you see all the toppings and then they say "pictured with sprouts, optional and can be added by request" Can we just have all the possible toppings listed? read more

Great sandwiches when you eat in, but if you want delivery you will pay almost $2 extra per sandwich. And none of that goes towards tip for the driver. That's right $10 delivery charge for 5 sandwiches. Great sandwiches, not worth the highest delivery charge in Lexington. Tip: there is a service in Lexington that will pick up and deliver any food you want for $4. You can do the math. read more

I'm a HUGE fan of JJ! I've never had a bad experience at any location. They're always fresh, fast, and friendly. Their pickles are as crunchy as the chips and there's always great music playing! That being said, my only issue is that of all 10 locations in Lexington, not one delivers to my house! This one is 2.9 miles away...I don't get it! I live in the Buckhorn Dr. area right off Man-O-War! The other close location on Redding Rd (also 2.9 miles away, according to Yelp) doesn't deliver to me either!
