The lettuce wrap fell apart when the outer later was opened. The inner paper layer usually holds the whole thing together. A colossal waste can of time and money. And were able to sit in their outdoor patio area. They have a simple menu that you can choose your numbered sandwich. Meal combos are an option. Pricing is decent. All in all. I work near crossroads. I ordered online (as I have before) so that i can get there, bring it back to work, and have 15 minutes to eat (of a 30 minute lunch). you know there are 6+ roundabouts between me and Jimmy John's, even though it's probably just a mile away. When I got there to pick it up, they had to make it. And they were confused about which was my order. And they just handed it to me. I had to ask for a bag, the chips (pick them out yourself) and the drink size was wrong. So I get it - paid in the app already - head back to work, open it up, and THERE WAS NO MEAT ON THE SANDWICH! I have just 10 minutes left of my lunch time, but i call, tell what happened, and ask that my sandwich be ready when I get there. I drive back down there, walk in, and they stand there stupidly looking at me and start to make my sandwich. There is no one there. Only the guy with the black cross-hatched on blond hair apologizes. And he didn't even do anything wrong. But it was nice of him. THE girl starts arguing with me about how they were busy, how she wasn't the one who made it, etc. I couldn't believe it. I am not one to post a terrible review but after having multiple issues with this exact location I feel that it's time. I ordered a sandwich and paid extra for certain toppings, selected delivery and waited patiently for my order. Upon receiving it, everything I had requested was not in my sandwich, which is frustrating because I paid extra. I called the store and an employee told me that they would make me a new one and deliver it. I received the second sandwich and once again it was made just like the first and was STILL missing the items I paid extra for. The employee told me he would have his manager call me back and send me a third sandwich. The manger then called me and asked what was wrong, after I told her she let me know she could give me a credit or void the purchase. I asked for it to be voided and asked for my correct Sandwich, that I was owed. She then told me that they were too busy and it would take too long to get it to me. She then proceeded to tell me that next time this happens I should speak to a manager and not an employee. What I have an issue with is that it's not my responsibility to make sure my food is made correctly, this is something that the store should ensure. It was not my fault it was made incorrect 2 times, then to be told they were too busy to help is unacceptable. My family and I love Jimmy John's... usually. I am on a road trip with my family and we were super excited when we saw a Jimmy John's near our hotel. We walk inside, ordered, and the blonde chick says to my brother "really dude? It's late" after he orders.... we arrived 10 minutes before close. A quick glimpse at the other reviews has shown me that I'm not alone in my issues with this turd of a restaurant. The ordering process went off without a hitch, save for the cashier's consistent staring stink-face, and I could have let the poor choice of soundtrack slide, I really could have, but then we received our sandwiches. My first bite crunched into dust in my mouth, a sure sign of over-baked bread. It was fast-food, whatever, the rest of the sandwich seemed edible enough, though my girlfriend had made the mistake of ordering a #4, which is basically just turkey, lettuce, and tomato, on a burnt bread-loaf. She returned to the counter in an attempt to salvage her bland sammy, perhaps some cheese would save the meal? The teenage employees refused to sell my girlfriend her cheese, selling things on the side was absolutely unheard of. They refused to do anything to remedy the situation, and would not give us any form of a straight answer as to why; adding insult to injury the cashier rudely informed my girlfriend that it was her own fault, and she should have read the menu better. My love begrudgingly retreated back to our table, and we tried to get through our sub-par sandwiches in peace, but again, we were denied. The "Numa-Numa Song" (Dragostea din tei), began blaring offensively over the speakers. We shared a disgusted glance, and quickly came to the decision that dining in our car would be a more hospitable experience. We gathered up our "food" and retreated to our Nissan, where we would discuss our new craptastic experience, and revel in the small joy I would feel, when sharing this honest review. I grew up with one of these sandwich places only about a block away from my school, so we ate here regularly. I'm happy to report that as far as I'm concerned, this place lives up to the general standard. I've been to Jimmy John's in Illinois, Arizona, California, Colorado, etc, and it's rare to find a bad one. I was in town for work for a couple weeks and this is one of the few places that deliver to the hotel I was staying at. I'm on the end of the second floor and every single time I ordered food, which included multiple sandwiches and sides, the average delivery time was about 16 or 17 minutes. There's nothing like a long day of work, limited nearby restaurants, and limited delivering restaurants. I knew every time I ordered here it be fast and every single time it was exactly as I ordered! I feel bad that other people haven't had the same experience, this is generally such a great place to grab a sandwich that I hope some of the other reviewers will give it an extra shot! Been to this JJ's many times and never encountered someone as rude as the General Manager. While I was ordering, she interupted me and told me they couldn't put anything on the "side". When I asked her why, she said "we just can't". When I asked her if she even knew what I had requested she just gave me a blank stare. I asked again, what did I request, and she said, "I don't know"... ummmm If you don't know what I requested, why did you say no? I wasn't asking for anything on the side ! After I got my food, NOT the way I wanted it, I asked to speak with her. She refused to talk to me at that time, told me I had to come back at another time. What I find the most interesting is that an employee told me many customers leave upset with her. I won't be back to that JJ's, there are plenty of others. We pre-ordered a large catering order for a very tightly scheduled training conference at our company a week prior to when we needed it and the order was VERY late. When we called they said "they got busy" I believe this to be unacceptable due to the amount of time we provided for their preparation. I ordered a number four cut in half because my husband and I share it and he likes Jimmy mustard on his half, so I asked if I could have Jimmy mustard on the side or buy my own jar of Jimmy mustard. They told us all they could do is give us a packet of yellow mustard and that it's against corporate regulations to give us side of anything especially Jimmy mustard! So if you want Jimmy mustard on your sandwich but preferred to have it on the side so that you can add it yourself you might want to give corporate a call because apparently you can't have a side of Jimmy mustard or even purchase it. It's pretty low budget in my opinion to not give sides of sauces that people order on their sandwiches. read more
