This sandwich shop is located in a little area near I-25 with a couple of other lunch options around it. The parking lot was getting pretty packed (it is spring break) but we did find a spot right in front pretty quickly. There were no other customers when we first got there and we were greeted and not rushed. There were signs giving directions on where to go to order and the menu was easy to read. My husband got the pizza melt on flatbread the way it usually comes (he said it was good but rated it 6/10) and I got the roast beef on white bread (8/10). We also ordered our daughter the mac n cheese kids meal which she enjoyed. The employees were nice and mentioned if our daughter found a hidden object in the shop she could get a free cookie (she didn't attempt to find it). I love me some Potbelly's and I was super excited when I found out that they had a Potbelly in Fort Collins (I previously have only had them in Utah). The food was exactly as I wanted it. I get an off menu supreme veggie, with bacon (I know, I know). Their shakes are pretty killer, as is their brownies and cookies. I'd give this place five stars, but the staff. I think the only place I've seen slower service is at the DMV. I literally watched a guy put one piece of meat onto the sandwich at a time. Ever so slowly. This is still somewhat fast food.. Horrible customer service, gave us a hard time because they thought our kids might be over 8 ordering from the kids menu. I asked if the kids could see the soup (because my kids are picky) and he told me no I can look at the menu (with no photos). Difficult to order because you can't see what any of the food looks like prior to ordering. We had a group of 6, meatball sandwich was cold meatballs toasted on the bread and they added sauce after. Kids ordered grill cheese which turns out it's toasted cheese, kids were not happy with burnt edges which left them with little to eat. This is a nice cozy little sandwich shop. They do have other options other than sandwiches. They have soup and salads which are very large portions. No Gluten free bread options. They have bottled drinks as well as fountain. Items are made to order and to go. They do have some sweets available such as cookies, smoothes and some ice cream. Seating area is open and comfortable. Twice in a row had to wait more than 20 minutes after the stated pickup time for an online order. They don't prioritize online orders until you're there for pickup apparently. It's more than a little frustrating to watch hoards of people come in after you, place and receive their order long after you placed yours online. If they can't handle it, they should stop taking online orders and promising pickup times. read more

Walked in and said hi to the guy behind the counter. He just stares at us. We order 2 salads and a joke of a kids meal. The chicken salad salad was weak. There was two tablespoons maybe of chicken salad on top of a lot of lettuce. The dressing packet was bitter for balsamic. The two guys working are just doing nothing while the girl worker is walking around cleaning windows. This place is a waste of money and what is more awful is being so hungry and having such a cafeteria looking Hospital meal in front of you to eat. I placed an order for pick up. It took them over 30 minutes to get me my food. Meanwhile others that walked in and ordered received their food within minutes. Then when I did get my food it was all wrong and they had to remake it. The staff and ESPECIALLY the Manager were very RUDE! Solid 4 stars for now. The employees are pretty nice and friendly. When I went in the line, they got everything right. When I made my first pickup order through the app, they didn't do so well. I was missing a side for my sandwich and I asked for a coffee shake with Oreo in it. There was no Oreo in my shake. I didn't have time to say anything, but I'm going to give them another chance soon. I work right across the street from this shop and have been ordering from them since they opened. Food is great, however, it is expensive. A bigs sandwich and chili cup delivered across the street is almost 18 and some change. On top of this, they just raised the minimum delivery fee to 13 bucks? Yes yes yes! I'm so happy Potbelly has made its way to Fort Collins. The sandwiches always taste fresh and are perfectly cooked. The staff is friendly and inviting. The price is PERFECT, in fact cheaper than most sandwiches shops that provide the same types of sandwiches. I've gone here 3 times in the past week. The atmosphere is fun and it's always busy. The first two times I went to potbelly I liked it. Basic sandwich, decent soup. And I love a sandwich on my Saturday afternoon. But the last two times they have been SUPER stingy with the meat!
