I had Jason's Deli cater a retirement luncheon for us and they did a wonderful job. It was all ready to go when I asked for it. The sandwich platter and wrap platter were well set up and fed the numbers they show. The side salad platters also went very well and everyone raved about the jalapeño ranch dressing. They give you plenty of serving utensils, plates, napkins etc to accommodate the size of your group. And I love their beverage service! Jason's isn't super complicated. They offer full salad bar and sandwich options. The bar is no longer all you can eat but you can make a salad bigger than your head in one trip if you try. Jason's Deli has really gone downhill. We used to love their salad bar, one of the few in town. Today, the iceberg/romaine lettuce was all, not just some, turning brown and the cauliflower was moldy. They quickly brought out some fresh lettuce so I suspect the first batch was yesterday's leftover. In what universe is this acceptable as an employee and especially a manager. This was after just opening so management is not checking up on the quality of their products. I was also sold a piece Texas Chocolate cake with a use by date in 2 Nov, it was the 5th. Had the Pastrami sandwich on marble rye for lunch with an iced tea. Ordered a full sandwich. They tried to cheat me by only providing half a sandwich on stale bread with dry pastrami that had very little flavor. The chips were stale and soggy. The tea was good. No pickle? I ordered a cup of broccoli cheese soup that is 7.09.....they put the wrong soup in the bag and when I called...I was told that i had to return the wrong soup for them to correct the order. I offered to pick up the soup the next day as i had already arrived back to work and was told that I would have to bring back the wrong soup to receive the correct order that I paid for. This is the worst customer service that I have ever been offered after paying 8.00 for a cup of soup. read more

The same filthy practice by salad bar attendant. Bussing tables, pushing the trash bin down, then cleaning up the salad bar with the same gloved hands. But I guess if you're turning a blind eye to the attendant, it won't bother you that patrons are using their dirty hands to remove items from the scoops at the salad bar. read more

This review is based off my personal experiences prior to covid as a customer. Also this is based of my recent grub hub delivery experience. My personal experience pre-covid would have been a 4 or 5 star. When I came in I would get the salad bar. Oh so good! Occasionally a soup. Really have always enjoyed the food I have gotten. However my recent grub hub delivery experience was not all that great. 1. arrived at the restaurant and waited for a good 20 minutes for an order that was a simple soup and sandwich. It was already very late and past the pick up time. 2. I sat there waiting. Finally they bring me the food and they let me know i HAVE to get the drink. They hand me an empty cup and i am expected to go and get the drink???? I mean i dont have gloves on and I had been driving around doing other jobs. Yes I had sanitized my hands before popping in. But I shouldn't have had to mess with the lid. It did not seem overly sanitary. 3. the staff was not overly friendly or helpful. was just not impressed. I definitely will never take another delivery order for this location. If I had to rate solely off my delivery experience, honestly it would have been a 1. After they open up the salad bar again I will probably return as a customer. Was a bummer to have the experience for an alternate avenue. read more

Quite possibly the worst gluten free sandwich, I've ever had. A group of us out shopping for the morning, stopped at Jason's deli for lunch. One group member had the muffalata sandwich which she claimed was close to authentic New Orleans as it gets, another had the BLT which she could almost find the one thin slice of tomato, but heaped with bacon. I ordered the managers special Grilled Cheese on gluten free (GF) bread and G.F tomato soup with chips. The sandwich arrived hidden in a go box and the soup in a go cup, no chips all arranged on a small plate. I was the only one in the group that received food this way, everyone else's was served on a plate. The sandwich, exceptionally small, was rubbery and tough, there was nothing else on the sandwich, just two pieces of food service sliced cheese. The tomato soup wasn't anything special with no basil flavor. I should have returned the food and demanded my money back. I've been gluten free for 25 years and g.f bread has come a long way in size, flavor and texture this was just very very disappointing, I left hungry. The restaurant is loud and not as clean as it should be. The self serve ice cream tasted off, the people delivering the food and bussing the tables looked overwhelmed. read more

Jason Deli has a variety of items to order from on the menu. The salad bar is normal size but they do offers a variety of toppings. The sandwiches are good portion size and more meat and veggies than bread which is a plus. They also have variety of drinks and best of all an ice cream machine. The price is comparable to what you ordered. Pot pie soup option was outstanding. The French dip was hearty and delicious. The only negative was on the salad bar as some of the items available was very low and needed some attention. Overall, I would recommend. read more

Plentiful gluten free options and I didn't get sick! They prep your food separately and wear new gloves, and I felt comfortable ordering from them for a work lunch after speaking to one of their employees over the phone about cross contamination. Today, I telephoned my lunch order for pickup and drove a few blocks to Jason's Deli. The order was ready upon my arrival. And this is even when they were busy with dine-ins and other several other orders to-go. I thoroughly enjoyed the 'Ruben The Great' sandwich! Stacked with meat and the right amount of toppings to make the sandwich gourmet. The sandwich was placed in a box, preventing it from getting squished. They have a bunch of specials and house originals that are already put together ingredient-wise, but I prefer to take advantage of the fact that this place is a true deli - just tell them what you want and they'll make it for you. Crazy concept, I know, getting what you want instead of choosing between what they think you want. This place has always been clean and fairly fast from order to getting your sandwich. I like to order a pastrami Reuben with spicy mustard on toasted rye with melted swiss. Uh, yeah, it's that good. Pile on a handful of ruffles potato chips and you've got yourself a meal and a half. And in the millennial world of barely subsisting on 6-figure salaries, Jason's delivers very good value. The restaurant itself appears to be utilitarian - I haven't actually eaten there yet (always delivered or picked up), but there is free ice cream with purchase. The menu is pretty expansive, and you would have to be pretty picky/annoying to NOT find something to eat. Service has always been great and helpful. We eat salads once to twice a week but here lately it feels though our salads have been sloppy and missing things. On Sunday, November 15, 2020 we placed an order at 11:30 am for three sandwiches to be picked up at 12:30 PM We did get the order confirmation and our phone number was on the confirmation. At 12:30 we arrived to pick up our order at curbside pick up. We called to ask where the curbside pick up was located and the person answering the phone said they did not actually have a location but we identified our car and she said she would find us with our order. 10 minutes went by and no one came out with the order so my husband called back and the employee that answered the phone this time said did anyone tell you that our oven was down. My husband said the sandwiches have been on order since 1130 you would've thought you could've adjusted times for that knowing we wouldn't be here till 1230 and how come when we called before no one said that. He asked to speak to a manager. At the time speaking to the manager who was very rude, the attitude pretty much what do you want me to do about it do you want your food or not. There was no apology for not contacting us about the issues We said yes we would like our sandwiches. Another 15 minutes went by and the manager brought the sandwiches out did not say thank you, accept my apologies, nothing but throw the sandwiches in the door at my husband, Just turned around and walked away back into the restaurant. after that fiasco they were the worst sandwiches we've ever had so therefore Jason's gets one star from us and check off never to return read more

A sandwich fit for a King. I used to come here every few months when I lived in FoCo. Unlike many of the reviewer's, I never once had a bad experience with the manager or any of the employees for that matter. I was always treated with friendly service. I recommend the California club (I'm a sucker for sprouts) and any of the soups, and lemme tell ya' they have a great selection of soups to chose from. The unlimited salad bar is another fav of mine. Since I have been known to eat my weight in food this is a great option for me. They always have the freshest produce and you can't go wrong with the hummus. And like many of the reviews on here they are right about the soft serve ice cream. I don't care if there's snow on the ground you better believe I'll be leaving with an ice cream cone for the road (and that's after I've enjoyed a bowl in the restaurant). Some of my friends would say that there prices are a little high for a deli but for me it's all about the quality. And this place certainly delivers on that. I love Jason's Deli food and planned a lunch with a group of friends (granted, this was almost a year ago, so keep that in mind). When we got up to the counter, the guy who was helping us (who was actually a manager!) was extremely rude and impatient. He seemed to be mocking us when we ordered. I have always loved their sandwiches and broccoli cheese soup. My food was great as it always is, but my friend's caesar salad was very watery. Another friend of a friend got the salad bar and apparently got sick that night (she claimed food poisoning but I can't speak for that myself because I have no idea). On the plus side, we did get free self-serve soft-serve ice cream, so that was an added bonus! I haven't been back to this location since then, so it's possible that things have changed since then.
