First time coming here, wanted to grab a sub while I was in the area. The drive thru is small, jam packed and busy at very random times so it's definitely much better to go in and place your order. Staff works pretty quickly at preparing your order which is what they're known for. It's a quiet establishment as well. Features clean restrooms, good amount of seating as well. read more

So disappointed that there was no avocado spread and minimal veggies on my regular sized sandwich. There was more bread than veggies and cheese. I will likely pass on sandwiches here in the future. There were only 3 slices of cucumber and three slices of pickle a small sprinkle of lettuce hidden under the cheese. read more

Hugely disappointing food for this franchise. Ordered a turkey sub with all the veggies and a drink. Ok price was fair, however the sub was a disappointment. Bread was good except there was hardly any meat, very little lettuce and one slice of tomato. Talk about scrimping on product to boost your profits. The drink was basically a full cup of ice with a splash of soda. Maybe they short change you if you have it delivered. Never again. read more

The food has been fine every time I've come to the shop. The bread isn't as tender as I've had at other locations, but everything seems to be good quality. TODAY though, the workers sounded like the good ol' boys at the bar. They were rowdy and yelling and cussing, while a family with children was trying to dine in for lunch. Highly unprofessional. POOR SERVICE Walk in the store and the "music" is SO LOUD! Not that it is real music, just a bunch of loud chatter. The workers do not listen to the orders, or can not hear over the loud speakers, but either way it is loud and the youth working there need a PROPER SUPERVISOR. Order pickles and 4 sandwiches and guess what, they repeated the order back and still got it wrong. This is not the first time with this issue. Over the last 2 years this place has went downhill fast. What a shame. They have a good location in a cool old building selling what should be a good product. I won't ever go to this Jimmy John's again. I've been to many Jimmy John's restaurants (and loved every one), but while the menu here is the same as any other, the atmosphere and service are aweful. Upon walking in the door, there was dub step/house music blaring so loud it almost brought tears to my eyes. I'm 26 years old, I go out to bars and clubs, I appreciate loud music and a good beat, but this was out of control. It was louder than any club/party I have ever been to (and I went to Central Michigan University, so that's saying something). To order my sandwich, I literally had to shout and they had to shout back to ask if they had heard my order correctly. All of the workers were obviously students at the local community college (or at least were that age) and treated the restaurant as their own personal party spot. I wouldn't have minded the music at all if it were knocked down a few decibles, but despite my obvious discomfort at the loudness, they didn't seem to care at all. That's not a way to run a business and I'm sure I'm not the only customer they will lose due to their lack of customer appreciation (or even acknowledgment for that matter). Get your act together guys. You're giving Jimmy John's a bad name (and as a die hard fan, I take offense). read more

For some reason, the subs are better during lunchtime than at dinner time. The lettuce is always pretty gross if I get it in the evening, so I try to just go for lunch. They're always really busy at lunch time, too, so maybe they just have their best workers during the day? If I could rely on the quality at dinner time, I'd give this place 5 stars. I appreciate how fast the line moves during lunch time and I love that they have a drive through -- I haven't seen that on other Jimmy John's before. Their delivery radius is very small, though, and I wish the people who sold me my house had been legally obligated to tell me I was moving outside of JJ's delivery radius. read more

Jimmy Johns use to be one of my more favorite places to go. But today that all changed . First off the price of my sandwich went up .75. Thats not cool it has been the same price ever since I can remember and when I said oh wow that went up , the cashier said "oh yeah the price went up because of some of the meats that are in it." BS!! whatever fine guess I wont come very often to eat hear then it will just have to be more of a treat until I tasted the sandwich. the flavor was way down. it did not have the oh my slap your grandma taste. My experience with Jimmy John's has been pretty consistent. Pretty good subs at a pretty good price and made+delivered pretty darn quickly. I'm not a Midland local, but was around the area because of work. Needless to say, I hadn't been to this one. It's a pretty small place with a drive through window. The drive through looks like it can get pretty backed up and goes directly out to the street so I'd think twice about ordering via the drive through. I had a pickup order which was waiting form me as soon as I got there. +2 stars. I decided to use the bathroom while I was there first before I ate my sandwich. The bathroom was pretty clean, but not as clean as normal JJ's bathrooms. I then proceeded to take out my totally tuna sub and unwrap it. I ate the first half pretty quickly because I was hungry and enjoyed it. +1 star. Before I got started on my second half, I noticed that there wasn't any provolone cheese on it, even though I added it on via the app and paid $1 extra for it. That was pretty disappointing as everything else I requested to be added to the sub was put it and the one extra I paid for was not put in. It didn't kill my appetite, it was just sort of a buzzkill that dampened my experience. It's understandable because usually the totally tuna doesn't have cheese on there, but it was pretty clear I had added it on there. -2 stars. All in all- JJ's is great. This location was ok- although it messed my order up a bit - it's understandable with any fast food place. read more

I love the subs here! I haven't been here in so long, but I think it's time to make another appearance. They sell day-old bread for cheap that tastes just as good as if they had made it that day. This used to be the best place out there when my brother was in high school. But then something changed, they started blaring music so loud you could hardly hear the staff or your friends for that mattet. They hired people who could not drive or read a map, i dont know how many times we would get a call saying our driver was lost and could we go outside so they could find us. Ordered two sandwiches for delivery; delivery was prompt. However, both sandwiches were incorrect. One sandwich was ordered with hot peppers and Jimmy mustard, neither of which was on the sandwich. The second sandwich was ordered with no lettuce and w/extra Dijon, but came with lettuce, Dijon, and meat--no other toppings. Extremely disappointed. read more

I am a sandwich snob of sorts. I love me a good sammy! When JJ first opened, I was in heaven. The best part is that they deliver! If you are snowed in and want a cold sandwich for some crazy reason, order Jimmy Johns! Over the years I have eaten practically everything they offer. My fav? The gargantuan. It's super heavy and kinda messy, but the flavor is what makes me always visit them when I am back in town. As for service... It's a steady decline that doesn't promise to go back to it's awesome previous gold standard. Oh well. One of my favorite places, but the Midland location is somewhere that should not be visited... Ordered two beach clubs on wheat, received 4 layers of cheese in replace for turkey... Not only did they get the ENTIRE sandwich wrong, it took 20 minutes as well. Fast service? Never heard of it there. First off, the cashier said that I ordered 'two number 12's' but number 12 has turkey too... Went in to confront the situation and all i got were dirty looks, eye rolls and a rude 'SEEYA' on the way out. I usually love Jimmy Johns, my sandwich is always good, and the pickles are excellent, and the workers are super friendly and respecful. But today there were new workers, they were cussing and being noisy. And the pickle wasn't even a pickle it was a cucumber. Now I know Jimmy John's is known for being fast but they took their time today, and that's fine I wasnt in a rush or anything. It's just that even after they took there time it was that good. They put too much lettuce on, and not enough meat and they didn't put it on right so it was falling out. So today wasn't all that great. read more

Placed an order on the app. Waited 15 mins ( not freaky fast) still no notification that my food was ready so I drove across town to pick it up. When entering the establishment 4 people were standing around, I figured fine end of the night not a huge deal. I got my food drove half way home when I finally got a notification my food was ready. I get home, I had ordered a ham and cheese no cheese add bacon and requested mayo packets ( purposely knowing I have none at home) there was not option for me to add lettuce no biggie I can do that at home. I get home my sandwich has nothing but ham on bread. Normally not a huge deal mistakes are made. When I called to get the situation addressed the worker was rude only wanted to credit me for the bacon and then hung up on me when I told him that was unacceptable. When I called again the manager refunded me for the whole sandwich but at this point I feel like it is not even worth it. I will never return to this establishment which may not affect them but at least other will who might get treated this way to will see. I can be sympathetic because I worked food service but speaking to a customer the way I was spoken to as well as being hung up on I will not just accept. read more

So let me first say that I am a huge fan of Jimmy John's with the exception of this location. I've been going to this jimmy johns for a year now because there are no other locations near me. The reason I keep coming back is simply I like jimmy Johns subs, it swear i will not go back every time I go there but temptation overcomes my hatred for this location lol. They are so slow making the subs. If you are in a rush this is not the place for you! Also if you are particular about having your sub made right this is not the place for you either. I would say there is about a 50% chance of getting your order correct. And if you order delivery, I would say 25% chance of getting your order correct and it's about a 40-45 min wait, not during peak hours. Other than that is a pretty typical jimmy johns. Oh and I found out tonight, you can't order a side of items. Example, I wanted the free hot peppers on the side of my Italian night club instead of in it. Not that's not allowed lol. I have had to put this place down lower, and that is sad, so very sad. I have been to other JJ places now and can say that this one here in midland is just no thank you any more for alot of reasons. First, the people that they have working there have NO idea of what they are doing. They do not know the meaning of making a good sandwich any more and they SKIMP on the good things. I am sorry but a tiny smear of avocado between four slices of cheese does not do it. You can hardly tell that there is any avocado on there, same with the mayo. If you are going to make a sandwich, make a sandwich not a dinky thing in bread. The music inside of the restaurant is TO LOUD, and I listen to my music loud, but when I am eating I don't want my ears bleeding as I am trying to eat. Also it is annoying that you have to scream your orders over the music just so that they can hear you. Another thing, If you are going to have people deliver, have them read a damn map OR only hire people that know midland. TWICE we have ordered sandwiches and the people have gotten LOST or this is the best part. One time a girl had deliverd the thing she was SITTING in our driveway and Had to CALL us to find out that she was at the right house. I am sorry but that is just STUPID.
