Has an old beat up bar and a few tables around it. The inside is pretty dark but not that creepy though. It's about $4 for a cocktail. There's no food but there's bags of chips and pretzels. Cool local place in Jefferson Park to have some of the many beers. It's not too far from the Metra station. There's not really any good food but you can bring in whatever.

I found my self at this hyper local community focused neighborhood pub. This place was bustling with friendly regulars who all seemed to live in the area, a live band performing old school hits (Beatles, Springfield, Buffet, etc). The drinks were cheap and the staff was friendly. The owner was a really nice guy, former military, no-nonsense type. A number of the patrons also seemed to be former military. While not overbearing or anything I should note this place does have a bit of that old school military/police/fire meets Harley-Davidson type-feel, often found in these neighborhood bars in the suburbs. I personally don't mind this but felt it worth mentioning as I know some people can find this intimidating - in Landmarks case they definitely shouldn't! It seemed clear to me that everyone knew we were not regulars and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable (staff and patrons alike)! We had a great night and I look forward to visiting again soon.
