I used to love and exclusively shop w/Jerry's, and we seem to trade in vehicles every 2-3 years. No…read moremore. I walked in shared I wanted a used pickup truck, and I expressly stated I did not want a car, sedan, hatchback, minivan. I was trading in a lower mileage Highlander w/ extra back row seating. After test driving, I got out and said to my salesman, "Done, I want it, where do I sign." He immediately began high pressure, "No, no, you don't want that." His actual words to me. "No, you want this instead. See, while you were gone (test drive), my manager gave me a deal especially for you." Then he brought me to a RAV4 brand new. The entire walk there I told him no, I was there for a pickup and never wanted a RAV4, but he said I would "be an idiot to pass this deal up," that anyone who didn't consider it, he would consider them to be a fool. When he brought us to the contrast person's office and shut the door and left, I turned to the guy and stated I was glad the salesman left, I didn't want to hurt his feelings, but no, I would not be buying a brand new RAV4 because I came for a used pickup, and then I told him pull the contract for the pickup, they'd still make a sale, and we'd all be happy. He refused, point blank. Said he didn't have the "ability to pull contracts" and that they'd "already transferred" my Highlander and I couldn't take it home, though the keys were in my possession and I had at that point only signed a trade-in value form, not a single contract for purchase of the RAV4. He even went further and stated "Lyft is closed for the night," and he wished he could help me, but all I could do was start to sign for the vehicle I didn't want and then being it back and they would "make it good" and "do whatever it takes to make it right." I was sobbing, big snot bawling. I told him five separate times "No, no, no, no, no," I did not want the RAV4, bring me the contract for the used pickup. Seeing I was vulnerable and my 6y/o kid was with me and I couldn't walk home as they claimed to have transferred my own vehicle away from me, then and only then did I sign upon being given to oral promises that they'd make it right for me. He kept insisting I come back over tbe weekend, but I was there the very next morning right after opening. I asked to see the manager; they directed me back to my same salesman instead and never let me see the manager. I explained what happened and was able to get the used pickup but as a trade-in for the same cost as the RAV4, even after I repeatedly insisted it was not my error, it was not me changing my mind, I repeatedly insisted the previous evening that I very expressly did not want the RAV4. My $28k Kelly Bluebook value pickup cost $44k value of RAV4. Also, they threw the expensive tracking system into the final cost somewhere even after I said no, we've got $30 AirTags instead. I was told they put trackers on all vehicles at Jerry's and I didn't have a choice. Additionally, 4 times out of 5 their car wash will be "under maintenance" or "closed due to staffing/weather," so don't let that influence your decision to buy from Jerry's. I'm including a flippant response their General Manager gave in response to my Complaint. I'm sorry I ever shopped at Jerry's and never will again. I still owe $13.5k on a vehicle I only had for 13 hours and put 12 total miles on, the RAV4 I never wanted.

THIS IS FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT:…read more I brought my Honda Prologue here because I received a recall notification. It was a safety issue of the infotainment system blacking out, which negates the ability to access the rear camera, speed, etc. I hadn't had any specific issues, but... that's what a safety recall is about, right, a preventative measure. I've read several things on the Prologue threads about the recall and how some dealerships were having problems uploading the updates necessary to achieve the end result of the recall. There were also non-safety-related updates involved. I dropped it off on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get a ride home. I have another vehicle, so I just wanted to get back home as I knew, or figured it would take longer than the 1-day Mr. Artez Scott advised. I also requested a tire rotation as I was scheduled for a road trip in the coming weeks. The service area is nice. It's only a year old. I remember it was being built when I purchased my car. The waiting area is nicely equipped with a TV and a laptop charging workstation. Day 1, Artez calls me to explain the car was rejecting the updates. He couldn't understand as the Prologue before mine had updated in a few days. They wanted to keep it overnight. No problem. Day 2: What's going on? Again, I have a car so that's not the issue. I just need to know the status of my Prologue. I had to call and leave a message to get an update. Day 3: Still no updates. My car is rejecting them, but they will continue to try. Okay. Day 4: No update, no call, no text, no E-mail. I told Artez he didn't even have to talk to me. He sent me an e-mail the first day, so I kept responding to that. He could've texted, E-mailed back just COMMUNICATE. What part of customer service don't people in that industry understand? So, I drove there. An unnecessary waste of my time, but I JUST wanted an update. My car is still rejecting the updates. I asked, what do you recommend? Should I take it to another dealership? They'll try through the Memorial Day weekend. Day 9: Send me the shuttle, I'd like to pick up my car. This was after hours of attempting to contact somebody in the service department. I ended up calling the gentleman who sold me my car to attempt to contact them. This whole interaction could have been 100% better if ONLY the lines of communication had been maintained. Artez could have texted me with updates. Something short, I'm still working on it. Can we keep it for another day? Easy Peasy. At one point, Artez asked if I wanted to speak to his manager. What? Did I ask for your manager? Then he stated they didn't have any rentals? Did I ask for a rental? I was not hostile; I didn't raise my voice or anything during any interaction. What happened to customer service? smh. He could have at least had them rotate my tires.

You can ask him a million questions and he was so patient. He even gave my wife a ride home since we were at the dealership for so long. The entire transaction took roughly 4 hours. Overall I would recommend this place.

I bought a 2006 Honda ridgeline from these criminals and they lied to me. While we were going over…read morethe paperwork, my friend said oh we forgot to check the air conditioning and the salesman whose name was Mike said oh don't worry about that the air conditioner works. You probably could've been a little smarter about it, but I have a tendency to trust people And we later found out halfway home that the air conditioner didn't work and it cost me $550 to get that fixed. When we took it for a test drive there was a noise coming from the wheels and Mike the salesman said that was just rust on the rotors and once it wore off that would be fine and that was another lie, Carr had something wrong with the ball joints and that was another $500 to fix that. The car had been inspected by somebody equally as crooked as they are and the tires were dry rotted and had to replace for another 500+ dollars altogether I spent over $1700 to get the car on the road because I have to have it inspected in another state. When I called GM automotive and spoke to Mike I asked her to send me a check only for the air conditioning considering that he lied about it and he suggested that I drive back two hours to Bel Air and have their guy look at it and I thought is there guy, the criminal that passed the inspection for them too and I told him no and asked him to simply send me a check and I sent him a copy of the invoice and he could speak to mechanic as well if he liked, but they refused and they're criminals and they don't deserve to have honest customers that's for sure. Do not buy a vehicle from these people, don't be stupid like I was
