Because I had no credit every other dealership I went to turned me down. Then I called Exclusive and spoke with Cedric and asked if they work with people that has no credit, and his response was "Yes we work with people that has all types of credit" from there I was like YES! He asked if I could come in today (him not knowing I was already in route to him lol). I walk in, well my boyfriend and I and customer service was GREAT the moment we hit the door! We sat down and spoke with Cedric he asked what was I interested in I told him.....he ran everything through and told me what was going on. Unfortunately I couldn't get the car I wanted, but at the end of it all I did get a VERY GOOD deal! I still left with a 2012 Honda Accord that had less than 40k miles! Throughout the whole process they were very professional (that's a HUGE plus for me) and very hilarious. They're nice down to earth people. We had to go back for some paper work a few times and every time we came in it was like we were family. They remembered our names every time we walked in. Our experience was with the 10100 Liberty Rd location. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They will probably try to RIP YOU OFF. Backstory: I was dealing with Anna, a sweet, meek-sounding, salesperson, on a car we were interested in. My husband and I were unable to see the car that day. Anna called us back to see if we were still interested. Although she asked us about a different car, a used 2017 model, different than the one we expressed interest in when we called a day before. This car had 16,170 miles. Nearly new! At any rate, Anna peaked our interest in this other car so I took the lead in communicating with her. I asked her for an itemized invoice to see how they charge and said I would let her know if we were interested in moving forward. We were not going to drive up to Baltimore if this wasn't a good offer. This was the breakdown she provided on the 2017 Sentra SV: Listing price is $11,997 Exclusive Certification that covers and provides the vehicle with 3 month or 3,000 guarantee bumper to bumper $1,595 Tax 833.46 Tags, title, license, MD Doc Fees 646. ____________________________________ Package deal out of the door price: $15,071.46 **Note they added in $1,595 for a 3 month or 3,000 guarantee bumper to bumper** The Nissan manufacturer's basic warranty is for FREE for 3 years or 36,000 miles! Then on top of charging me for something I would be getting FREE as part of my Nissan warranty they were taxing me on that amount in addition to the car price. Also, they charged an exorbitant $646 for Tags, title, license and MD Doc Fees. I was transferring my license and tags so the cost should have been only $10 for the transfer, $100 for the title and no more than a competitive $299 for dealer processing fees. That would be $409 instead of $695. This is the amount that I calculated we should pay: Listing price is $11,997 6% Tax $719.82 Title $100 Tags, license and registration transfer $10, we would keep our plates. ____________________________________ Our the door price that we were willing to pay: $12, 826.82 Exclusive Motor Car was trying to overcharge us by $2,244.64. Needless to say WE DID NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP and asked them to delete our email address and phone number from their records. The worst customer service experience I have had to date. Staff is condescending and inept at closing the loop and necessary communication. I was told a small part that was missing on my vehicle was already ordered and would be in very shortly. That was over 2 months ago. Each time I am told the part is elsewhere or a wrong part was ordered or told that they have tried to call me (I have not received any such call). Trust is shot and I am advising all to steer clear. It's what I expected. I showed up with a price from true car. When I was given the write up for the car, the price was 850+ more than what as listed on line. I was handled between two people Dewayne and Anthony. Dewaye was nice however I didnt care for Anthony. When I was called back by DeWayne after not purchasing the car the first night, I explained the price difference between what was shown on Truecar vs their website. I was told that the difference could be worked out and that to come on in. I went in and was met by Anthony. He has the personality of a pet rock with a hint of sarcasm. I was given another work up sheet by Anthony and there was still the price difference. I asked him about it and he pointed to some terms and conditions on the very bottom of the page. I was annoyed at this point but I was ok, I don't feel like looking for another car and just went with it. I asked to see the car again, Anthony took me back to the car because it had to be put back into the lot for the night. Even with the back up cam on, Anthony bumped the car behind the car we were in and looked over at me and said ...oops. I was given 1000 dollars for my trade in, and I was made to feel like they did me a favor. I was told that If anything was wrong with the car, to bring it back and they would "take care of it." Well their version of taking care of it covers 1000 miles or 30 days, which ever you reach first, only 50 percent of the engine or transmission. Sounds like significantly less than the verbal "we'll take care of it." So if it falls outside of that, their response would be, should have paid for their extended warranty. My car makes a noise that I clearly hear, but after I asked 3 of the men that worked there about it, they claimed they never heard it. Convenient. They called and asked me to come get my tags. I sent someone else, they said it was ok, as long as I told them the person ahead of time and they had their ID when they came to get my tags. Well the person that had my tags was so interested in trying to get the number of the person that came to get the tags, that they didn't check anything. Thank goodness, I got the right tags. This dealership...I wish I could say I would go back, but it would be a lie. They didn't even fill up the damn tank when I left, after giving them a full check for the car. Laughable. Oh and the car wasn't washed because they said they didn't have water at the time due to extreme cold, but they "promised" a detail when the weather warmed. read more

I normally don't take the time out to review a business unless I'm giving a 1-star (something I'm trying to work on) - don't believe me? Just look at my previous reviews on my profile, lol. So it says something that I'm giving 5. While looking at yelp reviews all across the board for multiple dealerships, it can get a little discouraging if you rely solely on the reviews. Fortunately I never saw Exclusive Motor's reviews before coming - otherwise it would have deterred me from buying. Long story short, I showed up with no intention of actually buying the car I wanted; I was going to test drive and wait for my credit to get better, but they explained that they could work with my credit and my desired down payment... so immediately I was getting excited about the prospect of walking away with a car. Longer story shorter - The car I wanted was available still. I test drove it, and they got me in the car that day! They worked with my credit as promised, and I walked away with a monthly payment I could tolerate. Things I didn't like: I wish my sales person would have been a little more customer-service oriented. He was very quiet and reserved, even when I tried to initiate conversation. Rough. Also, the price of the vehicle was listed on Auto Trader for less than they were selling it for (I think this is typical amongst the auto-industry of Maryland from all of the reviews I've read on other car company sites including this one). However, they did eventually knock off a couple thousand dollars for me. Other than that my experience was great. The guys offered me food while I waited for the paperwork (out of the kindness of their hearts..so don't expect that on your visit, haha) We had some good conversation (with the OTHER sales rep + manager) and overall they just made the whole experience very enjoyable. Went to the website and saw some nice looking vehicles with low miles....interesting! I had an expectation before entering this location. Let me tell you that I was not prepared for the level of service we encountered from the door. It was an hour from closing on a Saturday. Eric greeted us as if we were the first and only customers that day! Eric Wilson is the guy you need to ask for when you go. Spoke to salesman and gave him an offer. They countered that they would take $300 off the car which was fine since their advertised price was reasonalble. Went to test drive and all checked out....until....it came time to sign the paperwork. That's when they hit you with their $2000 "maintenance" fee which NEVER came up in conversation even after discussing the taxes and tags with them. Manager will try and double talk and tell you that you are getting a great deal. He had no response to my question about how paying $2000 more after a negotiated price, including taxes and tags, was a great deal for me. Don't believe their advertised pricing. It's not the REAL price. Any way, bought a 4 Runner today from a dealer that didn't play games. They said to tell you, "Thanks for the business". read more

The employees here were extremely helpful, until I actually bought my car. Of course, THE SECOND I drove off the lot with my new car, they didn't even pretend to care about me as a human, a customer, or anything. I had an issue early on with not receiving my registration in the mail like they said I would. I tried over and over and over for a week to get them just ON THE PHONE to get me the documents I needed for my car. No answer, ever. So, I went there and actually waited in the accounting office until someone would help me. It was not convenient to me, as I actually lived 45 min away and work full-time like most people. Then, a year later I called them and asked a favor. (My car was broken in to and everything from my glove box was gone) I asked a woman in accounting, who answered right away, if she wouldn't mind please faxing a copy of my Bill of Sale to the fax number I provided. I informed her that I was at the DMV trying to get my car registered to the new state I moved to and I needed it. She said she would get to it as soon as she could. An hour went by, so I called again, and again, and again. No answer. So then I call the sales desk (of course they'll answer because they want to sell). He then transferred me to the manager, again I was extremely polite, and as was he. I explained to him the document the clerk said I need. He informed me that he would call me back as soon as possible. Another hour passes and no call. I then called the accounting office again, (I have now been patiently waiting for over 2 hours at the county clerk office of all places) a woman answers the phone. I said "Hi I called about 2 hours ago inquiring about a bill of sale. Are you who I spoke with?" She said, "Um no and she left for the day. Let me explain to you exactly how this works......" And she gave me a speach on how I can't expect them to have my bill of sale easily accessible from a year ago. Okay so I get it that it may not be on your desk on your keyboard, but it's in a file, right? It has been over 2 hours. How long could it possibly take? On top of that, the woman who was supposed to be helping me, just left without even finding my file, or assigning someone else to do so. I have never been so mistreated by customer service in my life. As someone who has worked in customer service for about 10 years, I'm seriously outraged how this company would hire such hostile individuals. read more

My daughter totaled her car and I suddenly entered the market for a replacement vehicle. I went on the Auto Trader web site and found a car at Exclusive that fit my needs, at a price I could afford. From the time my wife and I walked in the sales office, we felt like respected customers. The salesman that I initially dealt with, Cedric, was professional and pleasant. I took the car on the test drive, liked the vehicle, and worked out a price with Wes the sales manager. There wasn't any high pressure sales discussion. Wes was very fair with what he could do as far as a mutually agreeable sales price. The final part of the deal was with Edgar the finance manager. During my life I have purchased quite a few cars. I cannot recall a better buying experience than the one we experienced at Exclusive. The vehicles on their lots are high-end used cars. It was quickly obvious to me that they have good buyers, since their large variety of cars are stylish and mostly low mileage vehicles. I wish them good luck with their new (larger) location. He is honest, he respects the customer's time and he accurately sets the customer's expectations .. there are no unkempt promises, no bait and switch, a fair business transaction that exceeds your expectations. Hank the finance manager is knowledgeable and honest , no drawn out back and forth and fruitless discussions. Cedric is a great sales person, not pushy but responsive to his customer. I purchase my car from them on 3/28 since then My check engine light has came on twice. My passenger side mirror never worked and they Refuse to fix it.I was told when u purchase a used car it's by as is.
