Over the past few years, we have used Behr paints for several interior projects (kitchen cabinets, bedrooms, bathrooms) and been very satisfied with the results. I called customer service for all of HD on the 7th and was told that the item was IN THE STORE just not yet ready for pickup. That the latest it will be ready would be the 8th or 9th. I just called TODAY, May 10th, because there has been no update on my order. The lady who picked up was rude and then told me she's placing me on a "brief hold". I was on hold for 13 minutes before someone finally picked up and said "hi yes we have located all of your items. They are all here. None of them have been scanned in yet though" to which I inquired, what "items" since I only had ONE item. The guy on the phone couldn't answer me and there was an awkward silence and then he just says "we will send you an email when it's ready for pickup" and hung up. Worst customer service at a hardware store I've ever experienced. Time and time again. This will be my LAST attempt at ever dealing with Home Depot. I'd rather spend my money at Lowe's. UPDATE 05/12/25, I was finally able to pick up my order, 5 days past the original delivery and pickup date, and the lady who answered the phone a few days ago when I called is just as rude in person, her name is Quita. This place needs a full employee turnover.

I dropped off a little 12" Echo chainsaw at Bartlett Small Engines a few weeks ago. The bulb split…read morewhen I used it the day before. old age. I can, but I too suffer from old age, so I thought I would pay a pro to replace the bulb and fuel lines. If the bulb split, the fuel lines aren't far behind. They are 5 weeks out. Not their fault. I went to pick up my saw when they texted me 5 weeks later and the bill was nearly $50 more than what I was quoted. A close look showed they charged me over $30 plus tax and labor for an air filter. Yes it needed to be changed, no I didn't authorize the work and $30 for an air filter is outrageous. They took it off the bill. Take it home and didn't use it for about a week. When I did, it would only run for a few seconds and that only if you didn't touch the throttle. I pulled off the air filter cover and could see the fuel lines were folded in half on the back of the primer bulb. They must have used the wrong bulb because the brass legs of the bulb were against the case of the saw, pinching off the lines. I took it back and was told they would probably have it corrected that same day or the next. While I was there I also noticed the formerly brand-new, but dull, chain I asked them to sharpen looked like it had been sharpened 20 times. There is very little of the teeth left. It was very sharp though. I commented to the red headed man who checked the saw in when I brought it back. He responded that I was the second customer with that complaint that day. Today, 5 days later, I got a text to pick up my saw. They said there was a torn gasket and wanted to charge me $3. I saw the pinched lines. The guy who checked it in saw the pinched lines and agreed that was the issue. I don't care if it is 'just $3', I ain't paying for a lie. Then I asked about the over sharpened chain. The young woman who was helping me today was cold, at best, throughout our interaction. "I don't know anything about a chain". I asked if she couldn't identify who created the rework ticket. Karen's attitude went up another notch. She looked in the computer and called out a name. The red-headed guy appeared. "Do you know anything about this guy's chain?. Deer in the headlights. For several minutes. I thanked them for their time, picked up my saw and walked out. $90 per hour, one hour minimum, plus parts.Tried to use my chainsaw today after Bartlett Small Engines 'fixed' it again. Same issue. As soon as it warmed up, the lines collapsed because they were installed with to tight of a bend. Back to Bartlett Small engine. They 'repaired' it again while I waited. When they handed it to me I too off the airbox cover and had a look before I left. The lines had still been cut too short and were so tightly bent that I knew the same thing would happen again as soon as the saw warmed up. I pointed this out to the lady helping me. I saw an older man who I figured was the owner and showed him the same thing. He immediately developed an attitude. They told me they only use factory equipment. The first lines they installed were black, the second ones, in this picture, were green. Now they put black ones in again. I pointed out to the owner that they weren't even following their own policies. He called me stupid. Long story short, I got a full refund and am now banned from Bartlett Small engines. Dude was so proud to tell me to 'never come back'. Like I would ever let them touch anything of mine ever again! And yes, I pointed out the stupidity of his comment before I left.
