This is the cutest breakfast place in seaside heights NJ. This was right next to my motel so it was super convenient but the food was absolutely delicious, the service was phenomenal, & it was very inexpensive. I had the meat lovers omelette and I found it unique that pepperoni was in it(I love pepperoni). It was delicious it had pepperoni, ham, & bacon. My partner ordered the pancakes which I tasted and they were absolutely delicious- nice and fluffy too. Rainy day breakfast choice. The usual diner breakfast menu. Small corner restaurant at the shore. Probably amazing for the hungover crowd. Prices were affordable. The breakfast wasn't horrible but wasn't great. The cheese in the "Jersey" omelette was pretty much solid when it came out so I'm not sure if it just wasn't melted enough or came out last? The home fries had onions that were still raw and gave that sour bite here and there unfortunately. If you're picky about cleanliness or appearance this may not be for you. You can tell most of the silverware, dinnerware is old including the shakers for salt and pepper. I could barely shake the salt out of one. Doesn't bother me as long as the food is good. Furniture is old and even some of the chairs were rusted. Yes I get it it's at the shore with constant salt water air! Another group came in and pulled out a chair and the seat fell off ‍ Service was good although I'm pretty sure a waitress was listing to a TV series on their phone with swearing and what not. Again it's whatever but may not be for some. Would I recommend? A quick and easy breakfast sure, but don't expect the best of the best. read more

Looking for a breakfast in town and this place showed up. It's just off the boardwalk and offers tables inside or out. The staff was welcoming and attentive. We ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and potatoes and a meat lovers omelette. The portions were nicely sized for the price and we fully enjoyed our more-than-filling breakfast before spending the day at the shore. We loved how personable he was and the pride everyone had in their restaurant. They gave us free refills on coffee and the price was right. The good- A place for regular breakfast. The service was great, accommodating, friendly, and fast. They only take cash, but they have an ATM on site. They sat us pretty quickly. Seems an ok place for family, or to take little ones because if they are loud, it's not too much of a problem. The not so good- It seems to get a lot of talk around town, but the cleanliness of the place was a put off for me. Silverware was dirty, plates, bowls that held the creamer/other items, and cups where, eh. Crumbs all over the floor, tables felt sticky. I know they turn around tables fast. Great little breakfast spot in Seaside. They have indoor and outdoor porch seating. You can't beat the quality of the food for the price. Nice size portions and everything was cooked perfectly. Loved their coffee too. The staff were super friendly. We even met Jimmy. He checked on our table to see how we liked everything. Our waitress was lovely as well. I loved Jimmy's breakfast! I went in alone since my friend was still sleeping and they were nothing but nice to me! I ordered the short stack of pancakes and scrambled eggs and when my friend woke up she ordered an omelet, home fries, and toast, which she liked as well! I highly recommend this spot for breakfast! The service was great! The only bad things were that the bathroom was disgusting, full of flies and unsanitary, and there was no wifi so while I was waiting for my friend to come I couldn't really use my phone. read more

If you want a no frills Great breakfast across from the beach this is the place to go. Expect a crowd on the weekends. Only open til about 1pm for breakfast. We were seated almost instantly and our waiter quickly offered us drinks. We placed our order for food and got it within 10 min. I had the short stack of pancakes with the blueberry compote ontop and a side of bacon & I enjoyed it so much. Jimmy's is a quaint little breakfast spot with good food and super-friendly service. Don't expect the Taj-Mahal when you come here. This is an old fashioned, no frills kinda place. They have indoor seating and a covered porch with some picnic tables for outdoor seating. The open kitchen is visible from the porch area so you can watch the cooks work if you sit outside. The food isnt Michelin star quality, but its home-cooked goodness is enough to keep you coming back. I ordered a broccoli and cheddar omlette, my friend ordered eggs over easy with sausage links. Everything was out in what seemed like less than 5 minutes -super fast! The omlette was yummy, and they didn't skimp on the cheese which is sin I feel a lot of breakfast spots commit. Even though the omlette was a little smaller than what I'm used to, I was able to finish it all in one sitting which is unusual for me. Those with a bigger appetite mightve been disappointed, but it was the perfect portion for me. The home fries that came on the side were average. Altogether not a bad deal for $7 When I said old fashioned, I meant it. CASH ONLY, but they have an ATM. Tickets are hand written which I think adds to its quaintness. The shining star of this place is the service. Everyone is genuinely friendly and treats you like family. It gave me that warm fuzzy feeling which solely would make me want to return. Everybody is so nice and then run around to make sure you get your coffee or tea right away, and your breakfast ready right away. Their set up is small so getting people in and out is good for the waitresses to make sure money. Not only did I get potatoes they also gave me the toast and a thick curly hair that I did not order! I then advise the waitress if the hair and asked for eggs over hard. I wanted to make sure it wasn't the same plate. She returned with scrambled eggs and the potatoes once again. Many times people make mistakes and things happen but it believe that customer support is extremely important. We sat outside, but fair warning, the benches are small, and the fans weren't on which made it a little hotter. The waitresses are friendly. The food is reasonably priced and decent. I got the Italian omelette, and my boyfriend got the porkroll, egg, and cheese sandwich with a side of bacon. Is it the best breakfast spot I've been to on the island?
