After being told to 'just shock it everyday until it's clear' and spending HUNDREDS of dollars on chemicals that weren't fixing it, I went elsewhere and seemed advice and our pool was cleared in a day. Every single person in there will give you a different answer on 'what to do' or 'how to do it' or what you need. For experienced pool owners this is a great local family owned place and the people are very nice. But for new pool owners I suggest going elsewhere first.

All we can do is order another liner and have it installed correctly. I have reached out to Gold Star Pools And Concrete requesting they refund us the liner and the labor to install it. I am not asking they refund the filter they replaced even though it looks terrible and the monitor is facing our house and we will need to install a mirror in order to see what it says. We will see what they decide to do. Own that they accidentally ordered it wrong twice and refund us or be reported to the BBB and go to small claims court.

We really appreciate his honesty upfront! Other pool companies quoted a price for the pool itself and downplayed the extras you encounter once you sign and they start digging. In addition I also asked about pool cleaning equipment with no estimate or response prior to the false claims of water foul and was sexually harassed by an employee at one point. I had them replace my vinyl liner in the pool 2 years ago. There were wrinkles in the liner after…read moreinstallation. The liner slipped out during the winter when the cover was on. Prestige reattached the liner after telling me to empty the pool so they could fill back up. As it filled I called and that there were more wrinkles in the liner than before. I was told that they will straighten out after it fill with the pressure of the water. DID NOT HAPPEN. Again I called they said empty the pool again and they would straighten it out. I have more wrinkles in the liner than ever before. After filling the pool at my cost 3 times and then Prestige tried to charge for all the visit. I ended paying for most of it. They also tried to charge for added to the pool which they did not and I had video proof. I lost most of last summer swim time because of "Prestige" lousy workmanship. I never had a problem with the original liner which was installed by another company that has since closed. I would not be able to recommend this company for any kind of vinyl liner pool replacement. No one with any authority came to visualize my complaints.

Kevin does a great job on communicating and setting very realistic expectations. Could not be happier with our pool or the services provided since. Was told it was refurb with no issues but leaked so much water it couldn't run more than 8 hours. Paid someone to come replace the heating element as it was broken, replace a cracked manifold (the reason it was leaking so much water), 2 hoses that were tightened with zip ties, a jet leak and still leaking today December 6th. water gets under filter every 2 days so have to constantly fill. Payed full trusting he would come back, would respond for a bit saying he got busy. This is understandable but at this point havent heard anything back since November 4th.
