Berlin's shop was very experienced, carefully reviewed the scope and quoted prior to doing the work so I could prioritize and schedule services accordingly. I am very happy with the work quality, the shop interaction and value is unmatched. I have owned and driven BMWs and Hondas on the south shore for over 30 years and I am grateful for the quality and integrity of this shop!! The owner is professional, experienced and invested in his work and service level and value is far above the level of service at my Honda and BMW dealers where the past few years particularly dealer mis-diagnosing and overselling services is standard, ie last year when I simply needed a new battery from autozone on my Honda CRV the dealer diagnosed a $2,500 bs job which I declined. BMW dealer diagnostic and repair quote was also totally nuts, but that's par for the BMW service course so you need to establish a great independent service shop and Berlins Garage works for both vehicles.

I ended up bringing my car back a week later to get something else fixed (his suggestion). Everything works great and prices are unbeatable as far as what I could find. - If I did not have a back up vehicle I would have given him 4 stars because of his busy schedule. It's not his fault that he's busy and that's actually a good thing, but being without a vehicle can be an inconvenience to people that don't have something else to drive. I will definitely continue to see Jay at Powers in the future.

I couldn't believe that they had any customers left when I got the bill and had a chat with the young lady at the counter. They couldn't find a leak in the tire but managed to charge me forty four dollars that I later saw included disposal of the tire that was never fixed and still on my car. Then the junk mail and "reminders" started pouring in. I asked the woman what oil changes were up to now thinking , perhaps, $40 or maybe even $50. She explained that it's only $20 but once you included the price of the filter and the oil it was over $150.00. WAY overpriced racket that should have closed decades ago. I don't know why it's still there.
