Got my dual exhaust done 4 years ago . All rusted out and needed to be replaced . Was told to replace the old with new same exact was double the price almost 1k , 4 years ago was 500 . Settled on single exhaust was still almost 700 . Wouldn't go back , feel like i should have got a better deal since i just got the exhaust done 4 years ago. read more

This place is the Bomb! Brought my 2007 Ridgeline. They were so fast and friendly! I was in and out so fast, literally less than an hour and my husband looked at their work, like climbed under all over the truck and he said it's the cleanest neatest work he's ever seen! We've owned a lot of cars, still have 3, and this place is the best! The guy with the beard even was willing to call my husband when I asked and explain what needed to be done to him, thank goodness! (I'm not adept at mechanics, only enough to get myself in trouble.) then the bill! It was so much less Than any other place, (I'd gone to other places and they estimated 600 to 700 and I wouldn't get my truck back for 2 to 4 days!) I was shocked, less than 400 and with this quality of service and work! I wish they were full service garage, I would never go anywhere else!! O and they do brakes too!!!! I can't say enough about the great experience we had here! My wife and I got here about an hour and 15 minutes prior to closing and just thought they would take a look at our Jeep and F-150 vehicles but they actually did muffler service on both prior to closing at noon on a Saturday and the price was great! I've been here twice over 5 years .Both times I was taken care of immediately , my exhaust issue handled quickly , the work done was high quality and pricing was excellent . They did what needed to be done , were reasonable and didn't try to talk me into unnecessary repairs . ( a family friend who is a mechanic had given me heads up on what needed to be done in advance ) It's a pretty bare bones waiting area and it reminds me of an old time repair shop . The shop is a little out of the way on Grove Street in Brockton. I was pleasantly pleased that there was lots of parking and virtually no wait. As a pulled up at almost 11 am, an employee walked up to me and said that they'll pull my vehicle right in. We went into the waiting room which would be considered dank and dirty by most people's standards but I grew up spending lots of time in auto repair shops, it was neat but dingy. They quickly evaluated the problem and gave their estimate to fix it. It took all of 10 minutes of work and my muffler was quiet again. When I remarked on how quick the wait was and how quiet my muffler was, the mechanic replied, "That's how we do.", with the largest smile on his face. What a great bunch of guys who really seem to like what they do. They take cash and credit. I would recommend this place to anyone with car exhaust issues. read more

Took my MINI Cooper here to get the exhaust tips installed. They have a lot of selections to choose from and price was very reasonable. It took the guys 45min to saw off my dinky 2" tips and weld on 4" tips. The results look awesome! read more

I gotta say, i have been shopping at different Lou's and realized that each one is their own independent owner. That being said, Lou's in Brockton is hands down THE BEST LOU'S AROUND! I took them my Audi A4 Quattro B6 Six Speed and they immediately took it in the bay and did what they do best....CUSTOM BUILT EXHAUST SYSTEM with Magna-flow mufflers and exhaust! Two other Lou's denied my car (the reason was because the Audi's were "complicated")....these guys made the rest look like rookies. I came from the city, well worth the 45 minute trip :) thank you guys! Will be back again!!! read more

A fine place to get your exhaust replaced. Price was pretty reasonable for two "slightly louder" mufflers with stainless tips. Looks and sounds great. They only have two bays but I was able to arrive and be on my way with new mufflers in around 30 minutes. Will definitely go back with other vehicles. read more

Where should I begin?, I have dealt with so many shops, but this one is unique. Couple of months ago my muffler was damaged in Brockton and I didn't have option but to get it fixed right away. So I googled exhaust shops and I read people's positive reviews about this place and I decided to bring my car in. Oh boy my biggest mistake ever. All I wanted was to get a muffler and as soon as they lift my car up, I was told that at some point I'd have to replace my CAT as well, and I fell for their business strategy and went with a full exhaust job. As soon as I left the place I started realizing my car was driving weird, it felt like I had my hand brake on and something was pulling the car from rear. After driving around for about 50 miles, I got a P0420 check engine light, and I brought the car back the next day and was told that it's because they installed a dual muffler tip. So they cut the muffler and put another one. Made no different, then the owner's son told me that I have an aftermarket header and that is why I'm getting the P0420 code. I literally smiled and walked away and never went back in. I wasted $500 on a exhaust job that ruined my vehicle. This is my first review on yelp, I never left a review for a company before. Maybe I should of been a douchebag and did a dispute charges on this purchase. If you are going to this place, have the owner check out your car, not the sons. read more

WE HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT LOU'S CUSTOM EXHAUST IN BROCKTON! I brought my Chevy Avalanche there to ask them if they would be able to be able to install the exhaust system I wanted. They asked a lot of questions to determine exactly what I wanted and whatI needed. They offered to do it for me immediately, so I would not have to come back (it was a little bit of a distance for me to get to Lou's - BUT WELL WORTH THE TRIP). They installed the system at a great price and in less than 45 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend them. We just replaced the exhaust system in another one of our trucks and now we wish we had waited - had we discovered LOU's two weeks ago, we would have brought that truck there, as well. I had an exhaust leak in my 2003 Toyota Camry. I brought it to my regular mechanic and he wanted to purchase a whole exhaust kit for $1,600.00! I was recommended to lou's custom exhaust in Brockton by another mechanic and I drove down there spoke to the owner and he looked at the problem said it would take a half hour to fix it would cost me $450. He got the job done within the timeframe and for the exact cost and he quoted me. He was professional respectful polite as was his employees. I showed him another issue with the sway bar in the bushings for my back rear tires. He quoted me $250 job it would take roughly about an hour. I went back two weeks later and had it fixed. I got the same high quality Service and treatment from all involved. I was very happy and I highly recommend lou's custom exhaust to anyone that needs exhaust work said shock work or break work on their car.
