Instead of apologizing or replacing the meal, she offered a $1.99 discount on a plate that cost over $25. As a former restaurant manager myself, I know how situations like this should be handled--with care, professionalism, and at the very least a sincere apology. The manager, Kaylan, was rude and didn't even remove the plate from our table. The whole interaction left a bad taste in my mouth, and unfortunately, we won't be returning. UPDATE: The General Manager Joshua Spell made the matter right with a sincere apology letter and gift card, and reassured us that the manager who attended to the matter that night would be trained on how to handle the situation better in the future. Everything was very clean, the service was great, and the food was AMAZING! First of all, they have a plethora of food items to choose from. No matter what your taste is, there's something for you. Sushi was good, chinese food was good, boiled crawfish was good, crab was good, shrimp was good. Everything was good, hot, and yummy. I arrived closer to closing, and was surprised to see that they kept all the items out and fresh all the way until closing. I went back several times and was truly satisfied. I definitely see myself returning the next time I'm in town. Since it's located in a shopping plaza, there's plenty of parking and a lot of other shopping options available if you're interested.
