We checked out Jinsoo Kitchen and had Rosy as our waitress. She was very pleasant and attentive throughout the meal. We started with the Krab Roll, which is similar to a crab rangoon with imitation crab and cream cheese. Not bad at all. Rosy also brought out a complimentary appetizer tray with kimchi, calamari, and seaweed. That was something different for me, but overall pretty good. My wife ordered the Kalbi (Korean-style short ribs) with a side of shrimp fried rice. The ribs were very good, and the portion of fried rice was huge--definitely more than enough, and we ended up taking some home. I had the Buzzy Yama roll with a side of spicy mayo, really good, and I finished the whole thing. Only downside was a bit of a wait for the food, but nothing unreasonable. Parking can also be a challenge since the lot is on the smaller side. Overall, a very good experience and we would go back. read more

This was the third time we had dinner here. We always order something and get a rainbow roll too. This time the rainbow roll came out half the size we had been getting. Are they running out of fish or just cutting corners? It was just tiny rolls with thinly sliced fish on top. Before the rolls came out double the size of these with a decent cut of fish on top... not now. I will give them one more chance and if I get the same mini order, we won't be back. I will go back to Cang Tong ... at least I know what to expect. Never had a problem there. Jinsoo is packed all the time and we always had to wait for a table. They need to move to a bigger place. Visited during soft opening and the food was wonderful. Full opening will be in November. We have been missing good Asian food in Highlands County. Winnie and I visited and tried the fried dumplings, egg roll, steak fried rice and Kalbi Short Ribs. All were amazing. The stone bowl dishes looked good, as did the sushi. We are looking forward to trying them next visit. The staff is attentive and very friendly. A very clean restaurant, well decorated for the Asian focus. We highly recommend giving them a try. read more

I've "tried" to eat here twice now. The first time I went with my husband. Cute little place and all the reviews were raving. Ordered lunch. Waited nearly an hour for simple orders, but we didn't think too much of it as we had time. My husband's fried rice was so salty he couldn't finish it, but the gyoza was delicious-meh, 50/50 I guess, right? I was in a bit of a hurry the second time so I called in for a takeout order. I waited nearly 40 minutes for gyoza and a fried crab roll, so again, not doing great at this point. The interesting part is yet to come. As I'm waiting for my takeout order, I'm seated near the door at a table. I see a young gal come shuffling out from the back. She saunters around the register, right past me, doesn't ask if I'm so and so or have a takeout order. She throws this tied up bag on a bookcase by the door, the moseys back to the back. I'm desperate to get out of there at that point because I've waited so long, and again, I'm in a hurry. I check the bag and it's my order, so I take it and bail. Now the best part. I get about 5 minutes down the road and open the bag. No crab roll. Oof. I open the gyoza. Bugs. Actual BUGS. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. Of course I turn around and drive all the way back, because this is horrid. I do get a return, but here's my question. If this restaurant is newly opened, why are the waitstaff so sick of their jobs already? Why does it take 40 minutes to get half an order, and why in the HELL are there bugs in my food for a place that JUST opened and, I'm assuming just passed all their inspections to open?? Partner and I heard a good review about this restaurant and took a visit for dinner last night. Review given to us was on point about this place. The waitress and service given to us was awesome. My partner and I ordered gyoza as an appetizer and it was delicious. My Partner got the teriyaki salmon bento box which includes yum yum sauce, white rice, veggies, and a side of refreshing fruit. He also added a side of noodles with his entree. I got the teriyaki chicken bento box which included the same items as the teriyaki salmon bento box. We also had mango boba and Thai tea with tapioca bobas and they were wonderful. The restaurant overall was beautiful and will 100% be visiting again. read more

Really sad bc the first experience was absolutely amazing, tuna was fresh, service was wonderful, atmosphere was clean, went two weeks later to get food for my team and the salmon was quit dry and tasted fishy, the fire cracker roll was described as having tuna over the phone but when I arrived they said it would contain salmon which I wasn't expecting. I have since taken a take home menu but sadly don't believe I will be returning to this establishment. read more

Went in 3 times to check if it was ready finally she took my number and said she would call when it was done 20 minutes later I went back in and order was sitting there no call. I guess if your a Sushi Lover, this is the place to go. My date said it was wonderful. But their non-raw menu is something to be improved upon. They need to clean up their rice and noodle base recipe's. It's great to supe up a recipe so it's not so plain, but if you add too many ingredients, it just messes up to true flavor that your trying to accomplish. I will give them Kudo's on every side dish I've ordered so far. All in all... the staff was 5 star which is way I won't rule out trying it again... read more

I was having lunch there with six of my friends. The food was good and I was thinking of coming again soon with my family. When my bill came the waitress asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I said yes please 20% she was holding the POS and said "I will put it in for you, does $4.50 sound OK?" I said yes thank you. When I got home and looked at my charge card $4.29 was auto added as we were a party of six.
