I come here whenever I'm in town, they have a really affordable breakfast special, amazing Pizza and Caprese salad, and it is always fun to get the bucket of modelos! They have really amazing vegetarian and pescetarian pizza options too which is very appreciated. The ambiance outside at the 5 o'clock somewhere bar side is really nice too in the evenings. My wife and I visited this restaurant last week, it was a last minute stop and we were pleasantly surprised. Had a great bar tender, Camryn, we had the spinach and artichoke dip, it was good. I ordered a French onion soup. Please remember if you order apps, don't order dinner since everything came out at once. Then I had a French onion dip and my wife had the Tuscany flatbread. Food was good, needed to hear about how close they need to watch pours on their drinks, we sat at the bar. I would go again, not sure I would go out of the way to go but we had an ok time. read more

They have changed. A couple of years ago I found their menu too bloated and the food lackluster. That is no longer true. While they still have a good variety of dishes, they pared down the menu to focus on better quality. The hamburger was excellent, as well as having a large patty of beef. The pork chops are tender and juicy. The chops come with mashed potato that tastes home cooked. Also sauteed green beans and a choice of soup or salad. All for only $15.99. A friend ordered fried grouper and got two large fillets and a side, plus the soup or salad choice. I look forward to returning when the remodeling is completed and trying other entrees from the menu. read more

We ate at DIMITRI's Restaurant and had a great experience. My wife ordered the Caribbean tacos and they were excellent. I had a bowl of French onion soup, which was very tasty, along with the patty melt and a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Amber was our waitress and she was very attentive, polite, and genuinely nice. My wife asked for tiger sauce for the sweet potato fries--Amber hadn't heard of it before, but she graciously checked with the kitchen and had the cook mix some up for her. That extra effort really stood out. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely be back. read more

We usually choose the dining area because it is quieter but the Back Alley Bar is a fun atmosphere with great music. Not a huge fan of their pizza but it is pretty good still. read more

This is for the Pizza Bar. Outside seating, lots of tables. Order the Mondo Pizza, very similar to a meat lovers pizza. Nice flat crust, but there is a lot of outside crust. The pizza is very good, regardless. Service is usually spot on, the servers are very personable and keep your glasses full, whether ice tea, soda or alcohol. Weekends are busy as it is also a bar. Prices are not outlandish. So stop by and give it a try!! read more

This was PATHETIC! We were a party of four. Only ONE of us got what we ordered. My husband finished his meal before mine even arrived. I told the server that it wasn't acceptable. I finally got my food after everyone was finished and it was not even hot! The butter wouldn't even melt on my sweet potato, which was the size of an egg. I complained again. This is a great place to go for pizza, music and a good time. The tall blonde bartender was super friendly, I wish I got her name. There was another short, brunette female Bartender with I think a nose piercing who had a very surprising confidence with her attitude. I asked her for a skinny margarita and she said that they don't do that here. I said it's OK just put a little bit of simple syrup and some limes with a tequila and shake it. She stated that she wasn't willing to squeeze the limes for me when it wasn't even busy. I've been a bartender for over a decade, and there is very little effort into squeezing two or three limes in somebody's drink. If I were the owners, I would maybe have her brush up on some customer service skills. read more

What a mouthful! The actual name of this joint is Dimitri's Restaurant, Pizza Kitchen and Its 5 O'clock Somewhere Bar. It's been around for many years and it's a family run complex of three attached places with a common parking lot. I've been to all three places several times and I gotta say, my fellow Yelpers cumulative rating of 3.5 stars is spot on! I've had some three-star experiences but also several 4-star ones. It's wildly popular. Today I was in the restaurant for breakfast. It's a diner atmosphere with an exceptionally large American style menu. I was seated immediately, and my server appeared with a menu within a minute. I had my drink in another minute. I had my meal about five minutes after I ordered it. While I was eating, my server checked on me twice. What's not to like! I ordered a Meatlovers Omelet with Home Fries and Wheat Toast. With the drink It cost about ten bucks. The omelet was done nicely and packed with meat so the carnivore in me was satiated. The home fries were not too greasy which I appreciate. The toast was fine with plenty of butter. Soooo, I'm in and out in about 30 minutes with a full belly and a smile on my face! read more

It was a hot South Florida day when I walked into a very famous local eatery. Although specializing in Greek food it also has many Southern small town favorites. I chose the open face Turkey sandwich with a Spinach artichoke dip with homemade tortilla chips and a slice of Banana cream Pie! My tastebuds were on high alert. It was a little after lunch, so not so busy and I was greeted by a waiter almost immediately and shown to the lunch counter. I noticed the entire place was spotlessly clean (even the bathroom was immaculate and seemed freshly cleaned). My waitress Kayla was keeping pretty busy but greeted me and took my drink order a minute later, gladly giving me all her attention while she explained my choices. She brought my drink immediately and asked if I needed time to look at the menu, which I did (hoping she would disappear like happens so often at some restaurants). To my surprise as soon as I set down my menu she stopped what she was doing and gave me her full attention ( I wore sweat pants, needed a shave and certainly did not look like I had money or might be a good tipper) and treated my like a regular. She happily spent extra time with me as I asked many questions about the food. The Spinach artichoke dip was amazing and homemade, creamy and baked in a pizza oven until golden brown on top. The tortilla chips were fresh, crispy, with just the right amount of salt. I was in heaven! The open face Turkey sandwich consisted of 4 half's slices of regular store bought white bread but was surprisingly tasty. The Turkey was hand carved, the wonderful made from scratch gravy generously slathered over everything including the creamy just made tasting mashed potatoes. By far the best I had ever eaten! Last but certainly not least was the homemade Banana pie ( it was a hard choice as they had a glass case with at least 15 different homemade pies , cakes, muffins and others that I couldn't identify but looked amazing!). They looked good in the case and tasted better! Creaming Banana filling, flaky delicious crust and fresh whip cream. Easily in the top 5 of the I have ever eaten ( and I know my pies!). Completely satisfied and happy with the barely $30 tab, I proceed to put poor Kayla to test, first asking her for another cap, extra ice, a to go cup with a lid and many questions about the management, owners and wine and spirit choices. By then the restaurant has busy but she gladly gave me her full, undistracted attention. The service had been excellent, with the waitress's and waiters working together like a well oiled machine. This was my first visit but from now on I will happily drive the 14 miles from sleepy little retirement town to Sebring (home of the famous "7 Hours of Sebring" raceway and the jewel of Highlands County Florida! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Hands down one of most balanced restaurants I have ever dined in! Do yourself a favor and do not pass this wonderful establishment up if you're ever in Highlands County Florida.! read more

Server was friendly and efficient...I had the Reuben sandwich with potato salad and coleslaw...the Reuben was very good the potato salad and coleslaw were nothing to write home about...the potato salad was more like a mashed potatoes consistency and the coleslaw was watery and not much of it. This place is awful. Came here from out of town and couldn't talk more poorly about it even if I tried. For starters, the bartenders are incredibly inattentive & also give you drinks that are not as advertised. Asked for top shelf, watched her poor bottom shelf and charge me for top. Also let their friends act absolutely disrespectful to guests. I asked a man who chose to stick himself between myself (the only woman at the bar) and another guy both sitting in bartstools to please move because he was bumping into me and standing literally on top of me and my drink who then turned around and picked a fight with me and my father. Called me provocative names while walking to the garbage can WITH THE CURRENT BARTENDERS & then allowing him to be confrontational on the way back inside. My father is 63 years old, I am 28. This man knew better and they still allowed it. I asked to pay my tab and avoid the situation and they continued to let the problem sit at the bar and enjoy their night. I will never be back. I will never recommend. This place is sincerely the worst. I had one night to spend in town with my father and this was how it was spent. Thank you so much. read more

I went with my wife and her grandparents for lunch on Christmas Eve. The place wasn't anything fancy but it had some of that good ole southern hospitality. This was a restaurant I frequented often for several years. The food has always been good. Years ago, pre-covid, the wait staff was friendly and helpful always with smiles --that has changed; something went awry. About a year ago the place has changed. The waiter's demeanors have changed --maybe it is the manager, that is at the register, as she is the first one, one sees with an unapproachable attitude. The food also seems to have lost its charm --maybe due to the environment? The deal breaker, however, occurred during a recent visit; I didn't want to eat so I was going to share a meal. My waitress said, as she returned to our table and after we already ordered, "sharing is an extra 4$ charge." I cried, "excuse me? I been eating here for years you never had a sharing cost. Besides it does not state that on the menu." Crazy I felt like I was in a Chinese restaurant from the 80's. Who charges a sharing fee!!! I have an idea why. To conclude, overall the food is good, the environment average to bad --depending who you have working during your visit and finally you now have sharing fees and an increase in prices on all the menu items. read more

We were ordering off of the online menu, which seemed great. We went to order Seafood alla vodka and they don't have that item anymore. We changed that out for a French Dip melt and what we got was worse than a Steakem sandwich. There is no horseradish and no au-jus sauce. I called to ask that they replace it or let me get something else and she said all they can do is give me a container of au-jus sauce.
