The Service was fast and friendly. Lattes were strong and perfect for a windy afternoon. The cafe was warm and a bit dark inside:

The shop itself is really cute. They have this little library area with an acoustic guitar where you can lounge at. The ladies at the register were very helpful and patient with us when we were ordering. For drinks, we got iced latte w/ hazelnut, white mocha, and oat milk, iced coffee w/ caramel, and a Samoa latte sub coconut w/ oat milk. Coffee was reallyyyy good-- smooth and flavorful. I didn't think it was too sweet either. The food wasn't anything that really impressed me, but it was tasty.

The staff is like family... friendly and welcoming! The food was good and the coffee delicious! It has a homey, comfortable vibe! I see why people just come and hang out all day. Try it out!

Nice selection of sweets and the caramel latte and London fog we ordered were delicious, probably the best London fog I've ever had. The amount lavender was perfect! We also ordered a blonde brownie which was very good and an Oreo cookie mousse which was ok but would've been better if it was cold. Cozy ambiance with exposed brick walls, a stage for live music, and a library where they hold author signings or you can rent for meetings. It has a nice vibe.

Good coffee, very friendly staff and a great vibe to enjoy a cup of coffee. Located across the Manassas train station with lots of easy parking.

This place is so cute!! I stopped in on a weekday morning and ordered a Vanilla Latte. It was delicious. The place is big and open with cute sitting areas. The staff is so nice and friendly. The food was good. I ordered avocado toast. Definitely so in here and walk around old town.

Jirani in Swahili means neighbor, and I think this coffeehouse epitomizes the community feel that the name harkens to. The coffeehouse is very cute, and an amazing place to come and study with ample seating, booth seating in the back, and a reading room. There is also a stage for events, and we came at a time when they had their monthly open mic story sharing event where people from the community came in and just told stories about their lives. It was pretty awesome, and you could feel the appreciative and tight knit social fabric energy.

Great, relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed it, and will go back. The coffee was good; the pastries were okay.

As always, pleasant service and amazing food quickly delivered to my table. You can taste the love…read morein every bite. Can't recommend enough.

This was our final visit to The Omelette Cafe…read more The food itself was fine, but unfortunately everything else about the experience was bad enough that I will never return. I also do not want a response from the owner or management. I genuinely wish this small local business well, but I can no longer justify giving it another chance. During our previous visits, we already felt the value compared to the pricing was becoming questionable, but we wanted the restaurant to succeed. Today sealed the deal. When we arrived, only about 4 or 5 of the roughly 12 tables were occupied, with two waiters working the dining room. Most of the empty tables were dirty, many still covered with dishes from previous customers. The floor throughout the dining room was dirty and covered with debris. One waiter asked how many were in our party and directed us to a table. He sprayed and wiped only half the table with Windex. The other half, where the condiments were sitting, remained dirty. A few minutes after sitting down, I unfortunately put my finger directly into old sticky syrup that had clearly not been cleaned. The waiter took our order fairly quickly, but then poured cream directly into our coffees instead of letting us add it ourselves. Mine ended up with far too much cream. While waiting to use the restroom, I had a clear view into the kitchen area and noticed the kitchen floor appeared just as dirty as the dining room floor. What stood out most was that neither waiter seemed aware of or concerned about the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. There was no sense of urgency or attention to the condition of the dining room. After waiting several minutes for the men's restroom, one waiter told me to go ahead and use the women's restroom instead. The restroom itself seemed reasonably clean, but the paper towel dispenser was broken, and a loose roll of paper towels was sitting on top of the toilet, damp from previous use. When we were ready to leave, one waiter asked how the service was. At that point, I simply wanted to leave as quickly as possible, so I said it was fine. He then left the payment machine at the table for me to run my own card, and even the machine itself was damp and unclean. Overall, the entire restaurant felt sticky, dirty, and poorly maintained. The tables were not being properly cleaned, the floors were sticky throughout the restaurant, and the overall lack of cleanliness completely overshadowed the meal itself. I truly wish this business success, but after three visits, I will not be returning.

But trust me, this is one of those places you'll be glad you found. I love Turkey, and the second I tried their food, it genuinely took me right back. We ordered the traditional Turkish breakfast, and it was one of those meals where the food just keeps coming in the best way possible. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, comforting, and so clearly made with care. We also tried the flatbread, a meat wrap, smoothies, their special soup which was so good I would absolutely go back just for that, warm catmir for dessert, and a bunch of appetizers. Honestly, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. I also had the chance to meet the owner and chef, who was incredibly kind and clearly puts so much heart into this place. And the restaurant itself completely surprised me because it is way bigger inside than you'd expect. Super clean, modern, beautifully designed, and honestly such a cute brunch spot. Weekend music nights? Love that. Girls brunch? Absolutely. Date night? Definitely. Family dinner? 100 percent. Finding the love of your life? Slightly better odds if someone's mom brings their eligible son. Overall, this really is such a lovely hidden gem and absolutely worth checking out if you're craving authentic Turkish food in the Manassas area.

After being seated, we waited over 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us or stopping by our table. As more time passed over 20 minutes in total we still hadn't been greeted, offered drinks, or even told someone would be with us shortly. The whole experience was incredibly awkward and disappointing. We ultimately decided to get up and leave without ever being served. First impressions matter, and sadly this one fell far short of our expectations. We won't be returning.

Fantastic Food and Welcoming Service at Battle Street Bistro!…read more We had a wonderful time dining upstairs on the outside deck at Battle Street Bistro. The rooftop atmosphere is lovely and provides a great vibe for a meal out with friends. The service started off on a great note before we even arrived. They normally only allow call-aheads 15 minutes in advance, but Ella was incredibly nice and let us call ahead 20 minutes early instead of forcing us to hang up and call back later. The food and drinks completely lived up to that top-tier hospitality: The Food: The standout of the meal was definitely the shrimp and grits. Unlike traditional versions, they serve it over beautifully fried, crispy grit cakes topped with a highly flavorful Creole sauce, fresh corn salsa, and tomatoes. The textures and layered flavors were absolutely outstanding. We also ordered the shrimp taco, which was fresh and hit the spot. The Drinks: The basil lemonade was incredibly crisp and refreshing, and the pear martini was perfectly mixed and balanced. The only reason for dropping it to a four-star review is that it was quite hot outside during our visit, and the deck only had one fan running. A couple of extra fans would go a long way in keeping the patio comfortable on warmer days. Still, the staff was incredibly friendly, and we will definitely be back!
