Meri is an amazing, talented baker! She is super sweet, nice and prompt! Not to mention that the cake we asked for was beyond our expectations! Our 3 year old was having a Peppa Pig themed party and I saw she had done one previously so when I reached out to her, she asked if she could make it a little different than the one she did before. I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant but I will tell you to trust her judgement!! We didn't really know what to expect when we picked it up but when she showed us the cake, I swear I was in shock. The detail she put in it was phenomenal! It was so much better than what I could have imagined. She told us that she likes for every kid to have their own design which I thought was so thoughtful and genuine of her. And everything on the cake was edible and homemade. She even makes her own fondant with Marshmallows and powered sugar (which was my most favorite part of eating lol), even the eyes on Peppa and dots on the flowers were edible. This helped ensure my kid wasn't going to choke on anything foreign. The business is run out of her home so I would say to make sure you get the address before you pick up. We ended up using the address on Yelp and it took us to the middle of a gun range and I realized the full address is not listed. She did send it to me in an email but I must have overlooked it. But I called her and she promptly sent me a text with the address and we were there in no time. The cake would have easily fed up to 20 people. We got it for a party but L (our daughter) got the flu the day before so we just ate it at home with family. Everyone liked the cake and was in awe of the design. For this type of cake, I would have easily paid hundreds. But you won't be disappointed with Meri's pricing. It actually was less than what she initially quoted which typically never happens so that was refreshing. We ended up tipping more, that's just how happy we are with it! read more
