Debbie's warm sessions on Mondays are great if you're new or want to feel it out. If I get a friend to come for their first time, I usually tell them to take a warm class along with me. Melissa's Yummy Yoga sessions will keep you smiling, laughing and sweating (very yummy!). And Janice's sessions helped me focus on my breath so I can relax into poses that I didn't think I can do (or still working on doing lol). She gives a lot of individual attention as well to make sure you're practicing correctly to prevent any injury. Which is good because I'd be tumbling and falling all over the place without her direction. Can't wait to try out all the other classes. :) See that? Feel like I've said so much. Just gooo! Pilates really helped during that time with all of that, and I've really been able to feel a difference. They have some excellent instructors and the classes are never exactly the same. 3.5 years later and I'm doing new things still. I highly recommend. I usually do classes with Ivy and Gina, previously also Molly and Sarah when they're around, but it's all great! I wish I had the time to go more than 1-2x a week.

But, by golly, does it help with all sorts of body pains! I started coming here in February and have only had good experiences. Each instructor has their own unique background, whether it be kinesiology, teaching yoga, physical therapy, etc. Any of them have taught me something new and they all have their own stretch techniques, so I'm getting a different muscle stretched each week. Located between Main St and Whole Foods plazas so there is plenty to do or see around the area. There are paid meters around the block and a parking garage. Everyday after 6pm is free parking, Sunday is free all day!

Included in your ticket is roughly 4 hours of good vibes, dancing, socializing, and lots of great food! There was lumpia, pancit, barbecue chicken and bistec. Everything was so delicious!! There is also pizza for the children. It's a family friendly affair! :) When it was time to start some line dances, the instructors were so funny and kind. They were also very encouraging and easily explained the steps. My favorite saying of the night was "there is no missteps, just an accidental solo." And that kind of welcoming and sweet energy is what I loved so much about this studio! The owner, Tiffany Joy was an amazing host and her enthusiasm was infectious. I loved when the lights would turn down and we'd have mini dance parties in between line dances. It was such a fun time! There was also a cute photobooth experience, complete with props to capture the moment! You're able to text the photos to your phone; it was so easy to use. My only wish is that it wasn't so far from where I live - our group made the trek from Brooklyn! But honestly, it was so worth the trip and I can't wait to go back!

Tiffany first came to do a demo at his school and my son asked me to sign him up for the after school program. He has been happy each time we pick him up, and the school sends us videos of him dancing along with Tiffany and his classmates. Earlier this week I was able to take a regular Zumba class led by Tiffany at her studio and it was incredible. Tiffany is warm and energetic, truly a burst of feel good energy. Her studio is clean and calming, with a club/concert vibe in the main Zumba room. Today, I attended by son's last day of Zumba and though the classes are very different, Tiffany shows up genuine, warm and encouraging in both! She finds ways to engage both her adult and children dancers and she does so flawlessly. It was so much fun talking to my son about our Zumba classes, it opened up conversation about Zumba that wasn't there when it was just him taking the classes. One of Tiffany's missions is to connect families and communities and I think she does a great job of executing this task.

The facilities are somewhat out of date, however, the staff does work hard to ensure that they are well maintained. The pro's: The staff members are awesome- trainers, front desk greeters, and most notably, the class instructors. I've been a member of many gyms prior to starting here, and was always intimidated at taking classes. However, starting at The Club, I was able to jump right in, take classes, and it was thanks to the instructors. Caesar and Celita are by far the best instructors that I've encountered- they have both the high energy, enthusiasm, and dynamic personality to engage a class full of people and keep them coming back. I've met great people within the classes, and it always feels like a group effort. I've also done my son's birthday party at The Club, and it was a great experience as well. The pricing for that was great-- I think we spent $150 for a birthday party, which you can't find anywhere else. My son had a blast playing with his friends, and the girls who hosted the party were engaging and enthusiastic. Overall, I think this is a great gym, and I'm glad to be a member. For me, I justify the expense with ensuring that I am coming to the gym often, and making full use of the facilities. If you're just looking for a place to pop on a treadmill three times a month, then no, this probably isn't your gym.

So it started badly, as on the way in, I got yelled at profusely, and I mean really yelled at, by some old man telling me I was driving the wrong way through the parking lot - and he stood in my way to yell at me too. It wasn't well marked and was banal as nobody else was driving in the lot. Then when I got on with my cardio, the TV was staticky, and while the gym had some decent stuff and some fit-looking members, I have to say these are not great facilities and the space is a little cramped. They offer no towels, no hairdryer, and in general, not one of the best I've used. I'd give it a 4 if not for the fact that the TV, lack of towels, parking issues, and especially getting yelled at, all made me not enjoy my workout much.

He obviously did not pay attention to our conversations and recommended my child for his program that's from 7:30-8:30 Monday through Friday. As a working parent, that meant I had to get up earlier to get my child there for the program, drive home and dash off to work. I was willing because my child was very interested and I was looking forward to joining this community and meeting people. On 8/3/26, we arrived at the metuchen location only to be told the practice was at the Edison location. We dashed there to try and be as on time as possible out of respect. Upon arrival to the correct location, I saw a couple of what appeared to be 20 year olds. NOT ONE PERSON EVEN SAID GOOD MORNING! There were no introductions. A man, who later turned out to be head coach Adam Soural, seemed bothered by my questions (where are the locker rooms and what should we do before this practice starts) and then told my child to get in the water. Again, nooooo introductions or even a second to let my child know he's in a safe, community based environment, what he can expect, what he will learn, nothing!!! Not one adult there offered anything to say my child is in good hands or that we are welcomed into this community. I thought for a moment, maybe it's me, but then another parent showed up, upset. He also was not told the correct location and informed me this type of attitude is to be expected from Adam. At the end, Adam let me know the program was not the right fit for my son and told me aquatics coordinator, dawn Willemsen, would reach out. Here we are two days later and I have heard nothing. Even after emailing and expressing my disappointment in the lack of community the program has. First impressions matter when it comes to leaving your child with "trusted adults" THIS IS NOT IT!!!!! I would give this place zero stars if I could.
