I just want to take a moment to share my experience with Taylor at JJ Best. I was shopping around for the right collector car for about a year now, and since my financial statues are always good, looking for that iconic collectible was a challenge until I found Switch Cars, and while browsing their collection, I found this E46 M3 in such an immaculate shape. Long story short, I have shopped around for a good bank that can finance a semi-classic collection of collectibles, which no regular bank can do. Until switch cars recommended them and applied for the loan. Taylor was the right person for the job, for he got me straight, and funds were available within 48 hours of sending in my requirements. Good credit score, debt-to-income ratio of under 30%, and a good 6-figure income will get you good terms and a percentage. Taylor got me a good term that fits my requirements. I recommend JJ Best and will have repeat business with them. Thank you, JJ Best

I wouldn't advise applying with this company. Even with a higher credit score in the range of 700, we're seeing consistent denials.

BEWARE!! DARTMOUTH MA Do not go to this place. I recently walked into this place hoping to get a…read moredecent deal only to realize this place is a complete scam. First off normally when your walking around a car lot your almost always greeted by a sales person that is pretty knowledgeable about what's on the lot. This place don't even talk about the cars until they get your info and finances in their system. Not to mention the inside is so outdated the offices all have faded advertising and dirty certificates on the walls the rugs are dirty the employees are miserable not to mention fake and very judgmental. Finally after getting my info in the system we talked about a 2013 Volkswagen Golf that they wanted 13000 for mind you this car is 8 years old with 113000 miles on it and they wanted me to pay $440 a month not including insurance. This car is valued around $7 to 8000 max. For $440 a month will normally get you into a much better car newer with less miles. Overall it would be close to $600 a month with insurance which they wanted full coverage with contingency's. $600 a month for an 8 year old car with 113000 miles on it such a great deal huh considering with in the first 3 months I'll most likely have issue oh wait but for $7 extra a week I can get a warranty... When I questioned The " salesman " Brian about it he proceeded to explain that the goal is to not set people up to fail when that is exactly what they want you to do. Before going to this dealership I did some research only to find out that the Massachusetts attorney general had a lawsuit against them for scamming consumers and messing up peoples credit. Im surprised this place is still open to be honest... this is a glorified junkyard I really hope this helps because no matter how good or how bad your credit is I do not recommend going to any JD Byrider

I'm not here to bash anyone in particular, but I am here to leave my experience of what happened…read morewhen I went to look at cars. First off let me say that my credit isn't stellar. I arrived with everything they ask me to bring. Proof of income, proof of address and my drivers license, for myself and my co-signer. I was then asked for my landlords phone number and right then and there asked to see what cars I was being offered and Brian rattled off roughly 5 cars. I asked if we could go outside to see them and he said (and I quote) "We don't like to let people see the cars before they see our finance department because we don't want them to get excited in case they aren't approved". So I'm guessing test driving anything was out of the question as well. I asked about me pulling car fax at my expense and he said that they did something similar to car fax and left it at that. At that point we had been sitting there for about 5 minutes Brian told me I'd have to put $1000 down and payments would be $500 a month. How did he come up with that before I even picked a car out?! We got up and left. I've financed cars in my lifetime, I've bought cars outright and I've never been told I wasn't able to see the cars before I saw the financing department. That doesn't make sense. Why would I let someone run my credit (again bc Jay had already run my credit) before I even know what car I'm going to be purchasing. Just be aware, the $99 down or even zero down is false advertising. Read the fine print (there is none), ask questions, stick up for yourself. This whole 5 minute scenario raised big red flags for me. At this point it worries me that they have my financial information, my co-signers information, my landlords name (thank god i didn't give his phone number). It's worrisome too think of the condition of the 5 cars I'd have been offered AFTER being approved. I was even giving them a chance after reading the horrible reviews on the BBB website. Thankfully I'm not a pushover, and I'm not desperate. Please stay clear of this place. The website makes them sound like an absolute dream. They will put you in a car that has over 100,000 miles on it (I forget which car Brian had mentioned, but it was over 100,000 miles) and you'll most likely have problems well after the warranty runs out and you'll still be paying for the car. Do research, look on the BBB website, and LOOK AROUND. There are better places that offer financing to people with less than stellar credit, I promise you that. I found a place that same day. I was able to test drive cars before even running my credit. I'd hate to see someone that doesn't have experience with these types of places and are desperate for a car get blindsided by Jay and Brian. I emailed Jay this morning to let him know I'd be leaving a review of my experience. These are facts, this was our experience. Good luck in your search for cars. There's a place 1/2 mile up there street at the set of lights that will treat you well. As I end this review, I will say I have proof of being told I couldn't see the cars before hand, and leave it at that. One last thing, if you sort the google reviews you'll see 141 reviews were made by the dealer, it'll say "by JD Byrider" all 5 stars- that's one more red flag.

I bought this car for my son we had the unfortunate experience of dealing with ivan the salesman, when we test drove it, it had not been detailed, it needed an alignment and there was a box in the trunk with a tail light in it all of which we were told would be done by the time we picked up the car, non of it was done. We sat down after the test drive we agreed on a price and he said the finance manager would call me to go over financing and finalize the paper work because we had to leave. The finance manager called within 2 hours that part was very easy they sent over a million and one pages I signed and sent everything over, laster that night my husband went threw the paper work because the numbers sounded off, they added a $1400 gap insurance without my knowledge and the price was almost $1000 over what I had agreed to, all things I didn't notice when I was signing, completely my fault for not reading all 50 pages. I called the finance manager and he tells me he will figure it out for when I pick up the car. I showed up a few days later to pick up the car and it was as if no one was expecting me to be there, the finance manager was not there and ivan the salesman was lying to the sales manager tom foster about the price we had agreed on, after I was able to cancel the gap insurance I sat there for almost 2 hours arguing with the Salman and the sales manager ivan finally admitted to the original agreement and tom agreed to cut me a check for the amount added but now im still stuck paying the intest on it. I look at the car, I can tell it has not been touched since iv seen it, but they assure me the mechanical work has been done, but im so tired and stressed from the day we leave, my son tells me its driving weird turns out the alignment is not done and low and behold the dam box for the tail light is still in the trunk, they wrapped it in the carpet trying to hide it, iv emailed tom foster the manager and the owner, iv called multiple times with no response, this car will not pass inspection, and now im going to be stuck paying to have these things fixed, they are scammed and take advantage of people, buyer beware!

As a result, I reached out to see if they could just wire the correct amount to the dealer. NFCU would not wire to the dealer. This makes little sense, as wiring it to the dealer would be the most secure option, and would ensure their security of the collateral. Instead, I was given the option to either request a direct deposit of the original funds amount to my account, then wiring it myself to the dealer or reapply for a new loan of the new amount. They would not even reissue the check for a lower amount. I chose to have the funds direct deposited. WHAT A MISTAKE. The process started on Thursday evening, and funds were finally deposited on Wednesday. At that point, I call in to do a wire transfer. I'm then told that it can't be done over the phone, and that I would have to send it as a secure message. The wire process is now slated to take 24-48 hours... That's pretty unheard of for an institution of their size. Wires are designed to have the money be sent within minutes. All in all, the whole process added over a week of delay to the process. Had I known it was this bad, I would have just reapplied on the phone Thursday night, overnighted the check, and had it by Saturday. NFCU should seriously reconsider their processes. These inefficiencies will seriously turn away newer member. Also, prior to this whole ordeal, the dealer told me that they would accept the check, but that they would have to wait until it cleared before allowing me to pick up the car... seems like they themselves have had to deal with these inefficiencies.
