During a time in our world where anger and frustration seem to be the norm, I was greeted with eye contact and a smile at Shannon Motors . Tim ( my SalesGuy ) was knowledgeable and efficient and super helpful. I never felt less than or embarrassed that I didn't have an impeccable credit score. I didn't get the car I "picked out" but I got the car i was supposed to have. I can definitely say that buying a car at Shannon Motors erased all of those preconceived fears of pushy salespeople and elevated pricing. I didn't have to go to the DMV and all of the paperwork was handled "in house". In two weeks I was called to come in and get my plates, they were put on before I drove off the lot in my new to me car! If you want personal, professional , individualized service when looking for and buying your next vehicle I highly recommend Shannon Motors!!! THANK YOU SHANNON MOTORS!!!!

They threatened to repossess my car guy was a total jerk his name is Jason hides behind a desk all day. I owe less than 700 dollars out of a 15,000 dollar car. I get when you are leasing it's a weekly payment but when you finance a car it's monthl. I would not recommend going here if you have bad credit there is plenty of other buy here pay here places. Oh yes almost forgot if you still do decide to lease a car from here and decide to buy out. They have to inspect the car and will find anything to get more money out of you. When I got my car inspected by them I had to replace the bumper guard. I replaced it myself when I took it out the guard practically crumbl in my hands. But it was inspected right before I got it 3 years ago. There is no way it was in that condition in 3 years. So basically they just slap a sticker on when you lease the car then do a detailed inspection when you want to buy out to get you for more money. I know people will still buy from here probably disregard my review people are morons what can I say except I will never return to this place when I need a car again

I have gotten my last 2 cars from here and had little to no issues (I understand the cars are used) but since financing my last car from them ONLY 3.5 months ago, it has a cracked cylinder head and I am being told the engine needs to be totally replaced. When I called Shannon, I was told they could not do anything for me considering it was over the 30 day warranty. There is no way this issue occurred from me considering I've only driven a few thousand miles on it and got it at the end of January 2026. I was told that the bank gave me an extended warranty that had total coverage if anything were to go wrong in the first 24 months/24,000 miles (whichever came first). I am now being told that it's not covered by the extended warranty. I am now stuck making monthly payments on an unsafe car that Shannon has sold me. Garages are telling me the repair will cost anywhere from $3,000-$7,000. Beware when getting a car from here. They have lost my business and any good word of mouth I would have passed along for them.

DO. NOT. GO. HERE…read more Went to go look at cars here a few months back when I was looking for a pre-owened, but reliable car. I was considering a Honda Accord they had, but was really unsure, and just wanted to get an approximate monthly payment based on my credit score (which I know). He said they couldn't do ANYTHING until they had all of my information, and I repeatedly refused to give him my SSN because I wasn't sure, but then finally caved because he said they couldn't do ANYTHING until I filled out some paperwork. I asked him not to run my credit but for finance just to figure out some numbers because I wasn't sure and didn't want my credit to be run at all. I left after he agreed to that... then it got bad. The next day, the salesman called me constantly, texted me, begging me to go back there to buy a car. He told me that my credit went through and we would be able to proceed with the payment price I was looking for. I made it very clear that I wasn't sure yet and still wanted to look around and thanked him for his help. The texts and calls didn't stop until I threatened to tell the police that he was literally harassing me. Fast forward a couple weeks later... I began getting letters in the mail from banks saying that my loan application was denied. It had the name of the dealership on it and everything, so I knew it came from them. Over the course of about three months, I received over 20 letters in the mail from banks saying that my credit was denied. I can't imagine ever buying a car from there based on this experience with them... I feel bad for anyone who has done business with them!

During the process, I asked about a warranty and was told 30 days 1000 miles. I inquired about an extended warranty and was told that they didn't offer one with this vehicle because it was not worth it given price of the vehicle. Seemed weird but what did I know, we just assumed that the lender would not offer it. So on the same day we took delivery of the vehicle and noticed there were several problems that needed to be resolved even before we left the dealership The issues were as follows: Drivers seat was broken Rear passenger door handle broken Noisy differential (grinding and banging sounds Intermittent) Hard Shift from drive to park With these issues at hand, we made an appointment to bring the truck back to have these issues repaired. When the truck was returned to me the next day, the rear door was fixed. The seat, I was informed, needed to be ordered. I was also told the tech said that the banging and grinding noise was "just a jeep thing". I came back about a week later to have the seat fixed. I dropped off vehicle only to receive a call back at the end of the day saying "they sent us the wrong seat". This now goes on for almost a month. Repeat phone calls and voicemails were left without a reply. Finally, after Richard accepted a job with Tasca Cranston, he asked his trainer for guidance on the channels to follow in order to have these issues addressed. After a few different problems including the heating system and several visits to Tasca Nissan for repairs STRONG concern about this vehicle had arose. I had inquired at that point about them simply taking the vehicle back and placing me in a vehicle that worked properly. Instead Mike insisted on repairing the vehicle. While at Nissan, I asked for a history on the vehicle and repair orders which I still hold in my possession. Fast forward over the next few months, the vehicle has been towed on 3 different occasions by AAA. The 3rd time was literally the day after we received it back from Nissan service following the 2nd time it was towed, where they had it for a week and we were assured the vehicle was properly functioning. The oil as well as the check engine light came on during the ride home from Nissan and unfortunately the service department was closing by the time I picked it up so I couldn't turn around to return it. By the next morning it would no longer drive resulting in the 3rd tow. The time after that we made it to the Gano street exit and had to turn around because the oil light came back on again. As you can see, this has been a constant cycle of the same issues over and over. After several returns for repairs, at least 8 different times, the vehicle currently has less than 3200 miles since day of purchase. The last time it was brought in for service, John D said "I can't with this piece of shit truck. I don't even want to see it, bring it to Nissan and let them deal with it" Now we are in the midst of a terrible winter and this lovely Jeep Liberty 4x4 is down once again. This time the Drivetrain differential is grinding, 4x4 will not engage, the brake light & abs light are on with the speedometer and odometer no longer registering. These issues all relate back the initial concerns I had when I first purchased the vehicle and was told there nothing was wrong with it. I am quite upset that I paid off this vehicle in December and can not drive it again because I was sold a lemon. I am disappointed that I originally purchased this Jeep, whole heartedly believing that since it was a certified Tasca vehicle that I would have a safe and reliable vehicle. At this point I need to get this vehicle fixed once and for all or need to replace this vehicle. It is not fair to a consumer to have to go through all of these issues. Sent this as an email last night and no contact from POF or Tasca Owners which were CC'd on email.........LOVE THE LEMONS!!!!

The bank accepted her check deposit and gave her multiple different dates for when the funds would be available. She was told one date at first, then later given another, which caused a lot of confusion, stress, and financial hardship. Even after repeated questions, the bank never gave a clear explanation for the hold or why the release date kept changing. This caused real problems, including difficulty meeting financial obligations. Customers should be able to count on accurate information, timely access to legitimate funds, and clear communication from their bank. Getting conflicting information about a deposit without a proper explanation is unacceptable. What makes this even more disappointing is that my girlfriend has served this country, and she still was treated this way. That is not the kind of customer service anyone should expect from a financial institution handling people's money. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a bank.

However, the customer service is abysmal. Like all the other reviewers, I agree, it is a painful experience to work with this credit union. There is no way to view my transactions online. Is it 2025? Or do they just purposely want me to be in the dark? I have to wait for a paper statement once a year to see all activity on my account. I have a mortgage with them and typically annually they have underestimated what I will owe towards escrow and when I have paid the difference on two different occasions, they have credited the escrow payment towards a regular payment, even though the form clearly states it's an escrow payment and I've stated to the person in person (because there's no way to do this online), but that's what it is for and yet it's still gets misallocated. Today was the icing on the cake. I went to their new office in Warwick to ask them to print off a list of my transactions. I was met at the front door by a woman who told me that "this was not a branch" and I asked if she could help with the request and she actually said "no. " Not, call this number or I can add a request, just "no." When I went to my local branch, I waited in line with about 6 other people while 2 tellers tried to manage everything, the branch manager appeared to return from lunch with her Dunkin and casual Friday attire, and talked to someone on the phone from her office about what the plan for dinner was after she sat down. Unbelievable.
