These guys are amazing! From walking around our house looking at every little thing that would need to be fixed from cracked stucco to tiny holes they were so thorough and fair that I chose them right away. They were the only painting firm that gave us a bid because I was so happy with their attention to detail just on the bid that I hired them right away. I could not have been happier. Wow, an example of how contractors should work! Incredibly professional in every way. This company did an amazing job with painting the exterior of our house. The entire experience was just seamless and stress-free. From our initial consultation, to prepping, to painting, to cleaning up. These guys truly have pride in their work and it shows. They run a tight ship and it was awesome to see the owners being very meticulous with every detail. They would check and recheck their staff's work and make sure things were done correctly by placing little "fix it" tabs for their staff to redo/fix before we were ever presented with a finished job. It just so happened we had quite a bit of rain and they worked around all of those rainy days without us having to call them and check if they were coming. We never felt forgotten and they were just on top of things in every aspect. We walked through and pointed very very minor things before payment and they quickly fixed them during the touch-up phase. Great Job JJ. Had Jose (JJ) come and in give me a quote after my tenant moved out of one of my rental properties. The entire house was painted prior about 1.5 years ago so it needed some touch up and some walls patched. He went from wall to wall and some were painted entirely, some were patched up and repaired and some touched up. It looked all brand new when he was finished. We recently had our interior of the house painted by J&J. I recommend them fully. We got three bids and they fell in the middle. I know the low bidder but he couldn't commit to a date and I'm glad he couldn't. J&J worked with us on the dates - my wife and I both have home offices out of the living room and they agreed to paint that room on a Saturday so our work would not be interrupted. The were respective of the house, laying walk protection the moment they walked in the door. The crew of three were on time every day and cleaned the work areas each night. The job ran a couple of days over the projection, but the job was project priced, not hourly. It was worth having them in the house the extra days for the quality they did. They also moved all furniture to paint and back, and nothing was damaged. We even left them in the house on two days alone and they locked-up on the way out. We recently had our house exterior painted by JJ Painting. My wife and I are pleased with the results. Jose was great with communication throughout the project. After the work was almost completed, Jose came back to our house to inspect the work and had his crew touch up a couple of spots. The workers did an outstanding job with the cleanup too. JJs was professional and affordable. 3-1/2 days they painted the interior, removed wallpaper, painted baseboards and even replaced some can lights I couldn't reach without a tall ladder. They quoted me a competitive price for the job, but I had to decide on faith to use them since they were not a referral and had not utilized their services previously. JJ Painting did an excellent work on my house in Cardiff. There are so many good things to say. My house is 50+ years old with a full remodel done 12 years ago. So the paint was getting old and shabby. This was a complicated job with many colors, painting materials, and types of surfaces, some damaged. JJ Painting was recommended by a friend, and I checked on Yelp before calling. Jose was easy to communicate with from the start. Texting was very quick, efficient, and clear. The initial visit was good, and Jose provided an honest assessment of the work. The price was fair. I had gotten bids that were notably higher and notably lower (in retrospect the person clearly did not understand the job based on his estimated time) and some painters never provided a bid. Jose gave me confidence that he was knowledgeable and I got the sense he would work with me should there be misalignments on expectations. I wanted the job done properly, and it was. The prep work was done well with a lot of attention to detail. The team was very professional, and willing to explain what they were doing. The team went over the whole job multiple times to make sure it was done well, and nothing was missed. My deck staining was more involved due to it's age and my choice of stain and Jose took the time to discuss the stain with the stain seller, and to apply extra coats. I have stained wood soffits with a unique finish and the team made sure it was done very nicely. I highly recommend JJ Painting, especially if you have a complicated job. read more

super impressed with Jose and his professionalism. I moved into a new place and the movers I hired totally ripped up my stairwell. I called Jose to see if he could patch some holes, paint some scrapes, and fix the wood damaged handrail. He was able to come out the following morning to give me a quote. Hire these guys!!! It's not often when working with contractors that they go ABOVE and BEYOND. I called Jose from JJ painting to get a quote to paint the entire exterior of our new 3000 square foot home, including trim and power washing our driveway (to prepare for an upcoming backyard wedding). He showed up promptly at 7am the next day - walked around the entire house, asking detailed questions about what we wanted and then gave me a quote he stuck too even though they went above and beyond with extra things and an uber fast touch up requiring more paint.
