I just finished my bathroom remodel and felt Pristine Coating really deserved and review as there has been absolutely no issues with the refinishing job at all. Now that I've got a new white bathtub installed, you literally cannot tell the difference other than that the new tub has some traction whereas the refinished tub was a little more slippery. The floor tiles have kept in reasonably good shape as well. There are some normal wear and tear from dropping things and foot traffic (adults only, no kids or pets). Originally I was not going to remodel until at least the warranty was up, and I'm sure the job would have held up just fine for another 1.5 years, but due to other circumstances I've pushed up the remodel timeline. When the job was complete, I was able to wipe off the new coating as easily as removing playdoh. They removed the overflow drain cover during the prep / etching process. Then put it back on and masked it off during the glazing process, so the area behind the overflow was not glazed. When I went to put my new overflow cover on, I found they just glued the old one one. When I removed it, it took the brand new glazing finish off with it. The bolt was broken that holds this cover on, they just glued the bolt head on to mask the problem. This bolt also holds the drain pipe to the tub, without it, water will leak behind the tub, cause mold and possible flooding to the downstairs neighbor. Update, about a week later. I extracted the broken bolt from the drain pipe using a little PB Blaster, heat and working back and forth. MM sent a more experienced tech to re-do the previous job. Looks fine now. Considering the mistakes that were made, and the cover up to hide the broken bolt, I'm not changing my review rating. The first tech clearly had no common sense, not what I would expect from a $1k paint job.

I decided to call again to have four outdoor Adirondack lounge chairs slightly reconstructed to eliminate any movement and had the seating of four white Richard Schultz 1966 lounge chairs and one chaise lounger cleared of all yellowing and touched up as they really looked terrible. Acorn did an amazing job. The Adirondacks were reengineered to hold their position at just the right angle and the Richard Schultz chairs/loungers were brought back to life. I highly recommend Acorn Restoration.

It was $900 for the bathtub ($800 after a cash discount). I also got a quote for refinishing the sink vanities as well. Those were $450 each. But I opted to only do the bathtub. For the refinishing the bathroom needed to be clear of objects. I saw on Yelp someone else paid another refinishing company $3300 for a bathtub and two vanities so I know Master Bath Refinishing was a very competitive rate. I checked other companies and they didn't seem to offer refinishing in black. Master Bath was able to offer a gloss solid black. For the process people and pets need to vacate the housing during and a couple hours after. My bathtub was especially bad since it was refinished before/had a bad paint job they needed to remove. They gave me an arrival window of 8-10am. The two technicians were careful to lay down plastic wrap for a pathway to protect my home from dirt. They arrived around 10am and were finished around 4pm. Cecilia sent me a useful sheet about care along with the disclosure. What stands out is their customer service. For the refinishing it comes with a 5 year warranty! And yes they do honor it. I noticed a couple hours after the techs left that the glove they used to cover the tub spout had leaked so there was an imperfection by the drain. I emailed Cecilia and she offered a touch up appointment the next week! It's been several weeks of daily use and the bathtub still looks fantastic! No chipping or peeling. I'm very pleased with how my bathroom looks now!

I had a floor furnace that died Many years ago, the grate was still on the floor covering the plywood patch below. I finally just got tired of walking over the useless grate and had a handyman (Not a floor professional) lay flooring and it started to sink and the stain didn't match. After trying to ignore this eyesore for over a year or so, I finally said enough is enough. I got several estimates from Yelp and Pablo's was the best. He expanded the replacement area so it wouldn't sink again, we did a few rounds of color matching and he got it perfect! And aside from that replaced section of the floor looking and feeling AMAZING (it's soooo smooth and soft with no gaps - I just rub my feet over it all the time now, ha!), it's almost indistinguishable from the 16 year old stain color. All this isn't even to mention the very thoughtful and thorough PREP! He covered the path from the front door to the area and covered the nearby doorway and tented the repair area from floor to ceiling. There wasn't a single particle of dust that escaped. He came back the next day, after it dried, to do the last sand and coating. I can't say enough about how wonderful a job Pablo and his associate did -- just fantastic! I wish they could refinish the floors in my whole house... maybe one day! eek Thank you Pablo!!

It really helped us understand what to look out for, and how to keep our floors in good condition for the future. Not only did he do a great job refinishing the floors (see before and after photos below), he also removed a bunch of squeaks from our floors -- we didn't even know that was possible! The last thing I'll say is that Dale is an incredibly fair vendor -- we originally reached out to him for a full sanding and refinishing of our floors, thinking that was the best way to protect them long term. Noe and Maria arrived on time and did a beautiful job on the shower regrout and Noe even accommodated some last minute requests to add caulking in the kitchen and quarter round. Unfortunately, we had different ideas about what grout 'touch-ups' meant for the floors - I wanted a few spots regrouted to match the rest of the flooring's grout color - but it really lacked a professional touch and didn't look good at all. I did invite Noe to come back to redo it, and it still did not meet the professional standard I paid for. I would have appreciated more thorough communication from the start to make sure I was getting what I needed. To be honest, this was not the cheapest quote I got but paid more because of the great reviews. I would be happy to change my review to 5 stars if the team wants to come back for a full regrout on the floors, but I'm not planning to pay any more than I already have. I'll attach some pictures of the beautiful shower and subpar floor grout job.

He did a seal and when the rain came and went the leak did not happen! Now we know where to address when we have more time and sunshine. Also had him check out my front steps that seem to need to be re-grouted - he pointed out white water marks coming out from the tiles is a sign of water getting in behind so he went tile by tile to figure out how many are loose. I look forward to his bid for service for spring project as he does great work so I feel like I will get a good deal and a great job well done.

Loved that they showed up wearing masks and were on time. Jamal is a total perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. I was so excited to learn that I didn't have to replace my vintage claw foot tub my sink or my dingy countertops. Now they will shine and sparkle for years to come. Jamal showed up on time wearing a mask..He came highly recommended from my neighbor.I was thrilled to save money on such a low invasive process and curing time.It saved me lots of money and lots time.Now my Vintage claw foot tub is brand new!The ugly chips in my pedestal sink are an eyesore in the past. Jamal is an artist who prides himself in his work. Our bathtub is now gorgeous. Months later, I called him and mentioned a chip was starting at the corner of the tub. The next day, he went out of his way to slip us in between two jobs in our area. And he remembered the color he'd used! I can't say enough about his skill and professionalism. So fortunate to be connected to Marsio for him to retile my son's bathroom floors after constant…read moregrout cracking and it got worse despite many attempts for the initial installer to fix the grout and never addressing the root cause of poor installation. I had enough and thankfully found Marsio to put in brand new tiles and he added a DITRA layer to also prevent future cracking from foundation shifts or walking on the tile. He finished the job quickly and left our bathroom clean. He is awesome to communicate with if there are questions as well. He also was able to repair 3 marble tiles in our foyer that had developed a hairline cracks due to the foundation cement cracking underneath, which was partially due to the original contractor not putting enough glue under the marble tiles. He was able to save the day! It took skill to work with the fragile tiles. I would highly recommend Marsio for you tile needs!

The finish was ruined over a large area and I was firmly in the doghouse with my wife. I found Jack Switala from Al Quality Refinishing, and he came out promptly to take a look. He was professional, straightforward, extremely knowledgeable, and gave a very fair quote. When he returned to do the work, the entire refinishing process only took about three hours, which honestly amazed me. Jack is clearly an expert at what he does--he's not just knowledgeable, he's truly an artist. He refinished the entire tub, and it now looks and shines like new. The surface is smooth, glossy, and flawless. No one would ever know how badly I messed it up. In addition to tubs, Jack also reconditions chipped, worn, and damaged plumbing fixtures, including sinks and tubs, which is great to know for future projects. Ty was the only person who told me that he felt confident they can get a 90% match to the flooring, which was good enough for us because refinishing would have delayed when we can move into the house by. Ty was also kind enough to work over the weekend to help us meet our move-in target date. They came early and finished recarpeting about 2,100 sq ft within 6 hours. Now our floors look like they're new! I also accidentally sent them a double payment without realizing, and Ty called me the next day to let me know and quickly sent me back my money. Communication with Ty was really easy over text/phone. I would recommend his team to anybody and would hire them again.
