MB Marble Resurfacing restored our white marble kitchen counters and the result was outstanding. The counters are now just like new, there was a lot of etching in the surface from use over the last 4 years. Mario was very responsive and quick to come out and provide an estimate. I am very impressed!! The granite in my kitchen really needed help. It always looked smeared and unclean, and felt grainy/sticky, no matter how well I cleaned it! Very weird. I hired him to help fix etching in some honed marble in my bathroom after I moved out of a luxury condo rental (I had foolishly poured vinegar on it). It is with my heavy heart to leave something less than a 5-star review. I contracted this company to work on the marbles in the bathrooms. Mario visited my place in person for a thorough check and gave a price estimate which we agreed on. When the job was done, he asked for extra payment citing that the grout work was not a part of the contract. First, he came in person to inspect. Second, if the cost was higher than expected, it should be communicated before starting or completing the work. Two months later, the grout / color started to come off. Five months later, the new grout between the wall and the floor was completely gone. It was almost like painting over rather than doing a quality job. I chose this company because I wanted to support a small business and Mario seemed diligent. I decided to contract another company (comparable price) to work on different parts in my house. No fuss. MB Marble did an excellent job on my floors and kitchen counters. One bathroom floor was travertine. They sanded the stone, repaired any holes, and polished it. It is beautiful. Only problem is I don't want to walk on it:) The other floor was marble and was in pretty bad shape from heavy use and not always the proper cleaning. It looks brand new. Just beautiful. My granite kitchen counters shine better than the day they were installed 15 years ago. I can literally see my reflection in the backsplash across the room. They refurbished and polished the marble sinks, cleaned and sealed grout on the ceramic file floor and replaced worn grout lines in in the marble shower and kitchen backsplash. Wow, MB Marble Resurfacing just polishes our marble bathroom floors and the results are amazing. Our marble tiles had a lot of stains that couldn't be removed using regular cleaning material. Great job! Mario's estimate was very competitive and when Toma and Jesus arrived to do our marble master bath floor, shower, and tub enclosure they were quick and professional. Our floor tiles had many spots and they sanded (?) them all off and then sealed so that the floor looks like new. They regrouted the shower- to-pan space and finished with caulk and also repaired a couple deeply etched places where water stands and algae eventually had grown. We used the other BR to shower for a few days, then Toma returned and did that too, very well and quickly. They also refinished a small marble display counter in the kitchen at no extra cost. read more
