I had just moved to Atlanta and into a new house so we had a few yard things that need to get done including the trimming of trees and the building of a tiered raised garden. Given my type A personality, I also wanted it done well and as expeditious as possible. Through Yelp we found Jose and his company JJ's Landscape and Tree Service to give us a hand. It can be hard to find someone who you can rely upon and take their work seriously. Will they do a quality job? Will they care about what the customer thinks of their work? All these things were running through my head as I looked for a new person to help us landscape. So I called Jose and told him what I needed to do... tree work, build a raised garden, clean the yard of debris (that the seller left all over our yard) etc. No problem. Thinking that we would have to book 2-3 weeks in advance, I was caught of guard when Jose said, "You want this done tomorrow?" Sure enough, they came in the next day and took care of one job at a time. They helped me put in a beautiful tiered raised garden and then put in dirt into each tier. They then helped me prune back the tree limbs that were hovering over the house. As with any job like this, there is the possibility of limbs falling on things that were unintentional and they took care of these issues responsibly. They came back when they said they would and took care of everything. I will continue to use this company to take care of the grass since now my yard work is mostly complete. Jose has an awesome team of people working for him, they have great work ethic, and they truly care about their products and the people they work for. I will say that they are on the more expensive side, but remember that you are paying for quality work that is going to get done quickly. They are always on time and prompt and respectful of neighbors. They prefer check but will take credit cards as well (for a percent of the total cost). Next time you have a job you need them to complete, you cannot fail with this company! read more

I had called them for a quote for my neighbor who will consider using them later . They were prompt to call me back and was the first one to set up an appointment with me . This is the best tree removal company ever! This morning they removed 5 trees from my yard. The 6-man crew worked so efficiently and safely, each one anticipating the next thing needed. True professionals - it was beautiful to watch. I had utmost confidence in them within 10 minutes of their arrival. They carefully removed (and replaced when they were finished) objects in my neighbor's driveway to prevent any damage. They left my yard and driveway much neater than it was before they arrived. I had two trees that needed removal in a small space. Jose worked with my schedule to set an appointment. He was on time and quickly got the job done. He cleaned up when he was done. I even had a special request for him to save a large piece of the trunk to use a table. He took his time and cut as straight as possible to give me the exact piece I wanted and flat so I could use it. It was nice of him to pay attention to my special request. JJ did a great job remodeling our lawn and backyard last June. They also successfully transplanted a Japanese maple tree from our backyard to front yard. Father was knowledgeable and responsible, and the son was a hardworker and communicated well. They also took extra measure to help out or give advise on pre-existing drainage problem. Never showed up or respond to text or return phone calls. I called twice and sent a text message. No response.
