I used Georgia Landscape for about 15 years for firewood but they stopped offering that service…read morelast year, so had to find another provider. The wood that I got from the provider last year was just fine but It wasn't a true cord. The big deal to me is when ordering a cord-what are you going to get? You'll find plenty of companies that deliver "by the truckload" and by "half cord/cord", etc. However if they tell you that they are selling a "cord" of wood, it is critical to know how they measure that cord. A true cord is 4'x4'x8' or 128 cubic feet. A typical full size pickup truck with 8' bed will hold at most about 1/2 cord. A "face" cord is 8'x4' with a typical length of wood about 16". So with a face cord you are only getting about 1/3 of a true cord. Be very careful and ask exactly what their definition is of a cord and only pay for what you want and expect to get. Now to Champion Yard Services. I found them on my Nextdoor App where they advertised the sale of wood. They showed pictures of the wood (like many companies do) and quoted prices for different sizes-1/2 cord, full cord and what it would cost to either deliver and stack, deliver and carry to a place not directly where they bring the truck to, or self pickup. They indicated that the cord size was a true cord or 4'x4'x8'= 128 cubic feet All costs were clearly disclosed-they hid nothing. I emailed them 2 times to make sure that the cord was a true cord in measurement and they assured me it was, so I ordered 2 cords and asked them to look at Google maps so they could see that my driveway was on a hill and my stacking point was up 12 steps and about 45 feet from the parking area. In other words, not the easiest delivery and I held my breath hoping that I'd get what I was paying for. They delivered as scheduled, one day after the order was made. The 2 cords of wood were in "cages" exactly as shown on the website and the wood was exactly like the pictures-no "file" photos-no tricks. In addition they sent 4 guys to haul the wood to my backyard. It wasn't an easy job (I've done it many times myself) and the guys worked very hard for about 2 hours without any complaints-very nice guys-all pleasant and very polite. The next day Jimmy the owner called to make sure that I was happy with the wood and the delivery. I can say without question I got exactly what I hoped to get-2 cords; the wood is clean, appears to be aged at least a year, no "scrapes" or tiny pieces of wood, no filler wood (pine) and exactly the length that was expected (about 16"-18"). I paid what I think was a fair price for the wood and the labor. I recommend them without any hesitation and will use them again. I hope that your experience will be as good as mine--

After waiting almost two months on an amateur who failed miserably, I contacted Jerry, who made himself available to meet with me promptly. He met with us and went over everything he would be doing, and gave us peace of mind on how he could right the wrongs that were done. A few days later, he was at work. Grading, DONE. If you don't mind having your yard treated like a dirt race track and left full of divots from…read moremower wheels, and having your intelligence insulted when you bring video and photographic proof of poor work quality to the service provider's attention, and being threatened to have your account sent to collections after you disagree with the charges your service provider wants to collect in spite of damaging and poorly cutting your lawn....this is your lawn crew.... But if you believe that your lawn care provider should treat your lawn better than their own, and is obligated to correct mistakes made while performing a service that you are paying them a premium price for, or not accept payment at all, then please read on because I think SwiftNEasy is a lawn care provider that you should avoid. I hired this company to cut my lawn twice a week and address the weeds that had taken root as a result of the home sitting vacant for an extended period. They came by twice a month, but outside of the day they showed up, the grass always looked like it was overdue for another cutting. I paid them $70 for spot treatments that were appearing to make the weeds grow more quickly than killing them. Faced with having to do weekly cuttings of an average sized yard at the tune of $240 a month, it became more economically feasible to buy my own lawn equipment and handle it on my own. So, I cancelled my service. SwiftNEasy came by once during the 30-day cancellation period. In fairness, I cut it once during the period out of necessity, as they were unavailable due to "weather". Ironically, they say they do this to avoid damaging your lawn. But when they came... It was clear to me that they were in the "this guy isn't paying us anymore so we're going to spend as little time as possible" mindset. I had recently installed exterior surveillance cameras and happened to come across footage of this mindset in action. The guy operating the mower was literally racing across the lawn like a stunt driver, coming to abrupt stops, performing abrupt changes of directions, and in one instance it looked like he ran into the house. The weed cutter was moving just as fast. When I got home the next day to actually see the results... Divots all over the place, uneven edging along the sidewalks, weeds/ tall grass remaining directly in front of the house, and the grass under the tree in my front yard left untouched. I forwarded the video and some pictures of my concerns for their review, specifically saying that I didn't think that they earned their full service price. In response, they sent me a bill for the full service price, telling me that the damage was due to the ground being wet and the damage happened in areas that were experiencing drainage issues. How insulting is that, considering it hadn't rained in 3 days and lightly when it did? So they offered to take $15 off the bill. I countered with $35 off, because I had to take time out of my busy schedule to go behind them to finish their work and repair the damage that they made. Here is where good businesses do right by their customer, and this is where SwiftNEasy failed to do the right thing. Instead of saying, "hey, we're really sorry about the experience, please pay the $25 and lets part ways amicably", They chose the "profits over people" route and threatened to send me to collections if I didn't pay the $45 in 14 days. So under threat of collections I paid the $45. Are these the kind of people you want to do business with? I sure hope not. They will probably say that they did their job, but that isn't true.
