The lunch menu is predominantly breakfasts, and sandwiches/wraps/tartines (open faced fried sandwiches). Very delicious vegetarian tartine and roast beef tartine which included fries and coleslaw at very reasonable prices and generous portions. We broke down and ordered a chocolate and orange gluten-free mousse cake, and a favourite of mine-carrot cake. Both were fabulous - all made in-house! We eventually had to ask for them ourselves, only to be told they had to "find more menus." That was the first sign that things weren't running well. An hour later, we still hadn't received any food. When we asked how much longer it would be, we were simply told, "A few more minutes." At that point, we decided to leave without ever being served our meal. To make matters worse, I had to ask twice just to get my coffee refilled. What was most disappointing was the lack of customer service. When we informed the staff that we were leaving because we had been waiting so long, there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no attempt to make the situation right. This is the first time in my life I have ever left a restaurant. Long waits can happen, especially on busy weekends, but poor communication and a complete lack of concern for customers are much harder to overlook.
