I insisted that he look through the window opening. He still insisted it was clear. I showed him the difference in looking through the glass as opposed to looking over it. He replied, "that is the hue, when the glass was manufactured it has a natural hue". I am about to bust out laughing now, as I explain the definition of hue is a variation of color, tint, or shade. I politely ask him if he will meter the glass like he said he would, he declined and walked away. Needless to say I left and will never return! Would be negative star rating if possible. I do not recommend for glass tinting!!!

I was out the $70 plus $59 for the new speakers, but he could install ANOTHER AMP AND MORE SPEAKERS IN MY DOORS for "only" $255 to get bass back in my sound. LOL I do not recommend these folks at all. I went to the only other car audio dealer in town and he agreed the replacement speakers were the wrong ones for a Bose system, and replaced them within a few days with some that actually have some bass.

All places i called were in the 280-300 range for basic tint. I was happy until i got in it and drove home.... there is just some laziness to basic cutting that really bothers me. When you pay 290 for tint and wait patiently for 2 hours you would expect quality but there is cuts that are off and just feels like it was poorly cared for. Not a lot of bubbles so thats a win but the cuts being off doesn't bake out. The cost to take it elsewhere and get it pulled isn't really smart. I recommend you ask around if you want quality work! Everything's in the pics! I went 3 stars because they are kind and approach with professionalism.

I brought my 2012 Ford F150 to Gene's Audio after running into battery drain issues that pointed to…read morethe aftermarket audio system (2019) and rear-view camera (2024) installed by Gene's according to our local Ford dealership. When I dropped the truck off, Gene indicated that he was pretty sure the problem would be with the interface in the truck and he figured I would get the truck back the following day (Friday, 29 May). At 2pm Friday afternoon I called Gene's to ask about the truck and was told it wasn't the interface problem they anticipated and would require further troubleshooting. No completion estimate was provided. Called again on Monday, no update or estimate Called at 5pm Tuesday and was told higher profitable jobs got worked before my truck did and he would get mine fixed as soon as he could. I asked him if he could at least communicate with me as to the status updates... Wednesday no communication received Thursday morning at 1008am Gene sends this text... "John, just wanted to stay in touch." I walked into his shop about 2 minutes later and got the same "non-update" as on Tuesday. He did share with me that he had logged 3 hours troubleshooting over the last 7 days. I told Gene that based on his scheduling process it could take him 6 months to fix the truck... his response was along the line of...oh it won't take 6 months... Thursday noon I sent him the following text: "If you can find the time to solve the problem with our Ford F150 pickup today that would be beyond awesome! If not, I'd appreciate it if you could put her back in the condition she was in when you got her so I could settle up with you and pick her up tomorrow morning. I cannot afford to just keep hoping you will find time to solve the mystery." I called Gene's at 4pm Thursday and asked the gal that answered if they could confirm they had received my text. She indicated Gene had gotten it and his response was "no problem". On Friday morning I was told the truck was fixed. It was the interface originally thought to be the problem... $180 for parts, $600 for 4 hours labor. I'll give him credit for letting me know I was not his priority and he'd get to my truck when he could, after he already had my truck in the shop. I'll also never do business with him again and would never recommend him to anyone else for any kind of repair/troubleshooting.

I was restricted…read morefrom driving due a medical condition for 6 months and when I was able to resume driving my battery was dead, so I bought a new battery and everything seemed to work fine until my new battery was being drained and my truck wouldn't start, and the radio wouldn't power on. I called Mobile Autosports and they explained that on GM vehicles without radio controls in the steering wheel, they have to use a special interface and it must be re-set whenever the battery is replaced. I took it in to have it re-set, and they ended up replacing the interface with a new one, even though the warranty was up on the radio. It took them about a half-hour and now the radio and camera works fine and the truck starts. I offered to pay, but they declined. That is GREAT customer service!

I show up, and they take my dash apart only to tell me I had the wrong wiring harness. Their book had it wrong too, so I'm not complaining about that. That sucked, but that's not what makes me 1-star angry. They "Found" the right harness after that, and charged me a bonecrushing 40 fucking dollars for a 9 dollar harness!!!! They present me with a $120 bill, DOUBLE what they told me on the phone all because my car is a BMW (They didn't mention that on the phone) and the $40 harness, 4 times amazon price. The worst part is: They did this after telling me $45 to put it back together. Had they warned me they were going to surprise me with $120 charge for a 9 dollar harness, I would have told them to go fuck themselves. DO NOT GO HERE. Drive the extra miles to Greenville and let Best Buy or anyone reputable do your work instead. AVOID this shady place. I asked for a quote on replacing my speakers in my car since they insisted they were blown. They said $200 to replace them all. Best buy will do it for much less, far better quality, far less shady business tactics. Skip this place, go someplace reputable.
