Over the past 2 months I've been to Tiki Carwash Express twice and both times I heard a very loud "pop" right as my truck was exiting the wash. The second time was this past Sunday, March 1st. When we parked and I started wiping my truck down, I noticed my sunroof visor/deflector had snapped on both ends. I immediately filed an incident report and was contacted Tuesday by the manager Chelsea. Unfortunately, I was told that because of things like weather, wear and tear, and my vehicle being a 2017, they "usually don't cover" items like that. For context, my truck is kept under a carport and isn't exposed to direct sunlight or harsh weather that would cause something like that to suddenly snap. And the deflector has been in place for 4-5 years with no other issues.  I've always been someone who keeps a carwash membership and takes good care of my vehicles. I actually switched to Tiki when they first opened, but after this experience and the lack of responsibility taken for the damage, I've cancelled my membership and will be going back to the carwash I previously used without any issues. read more

Tiki's basic $15 wash is a great value during pollen season. If your vehicle has a lot of bug grime, it's better to select the higher $25 wash. With the bugs, I find occasional remnants that I need to fully remove with their provided drying towels. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Especially when selecting & purchasing your desired wash. Plus they keep the grounds neat & clean. Their detailing stalls include two vacuum nozzle options...flat head & crevice. The flat head is great for seats and floor boards. The crevice tool definitely helps you clean all the nooks & crannies. Also provided are 3 types of cleaning products plus towels. You definitely need to take advantage of the floor mat cleaning station located near the exit. There's a stall with water, scrub brush & cleaning solution for your rubber mats. There's also a machine for scrubbing/shaking the dirt off your carpeted mats. Finally I have to mention Tiki must be on top of their maintenance, because I've never experienced low suction power with their vacuums which is something I've experienced multiple times at one of their competitors. To me, this means they're cleaning and changing the filters regularly. All-in-all, Tiki is the best car wash in town! read more

I really wanted to like this new business, but the resulting cleanliness and shine of my car ($15 wash/shine pkg) was underwhelming. I noticed that midday on a warm, sunny day the business was empty, (when there is usually a line leading up to a nearby competitor), and that should have been a clue. The service professionals were very nice, but the spotty, low quality result will keep me from returning. read more

Great set up, if I was local would probably do the membership. Have all the extra things you need towels window cleaner interior vacuums air for your tires etc. Hope they don't fall off like some of the other options I have seen like this in the past. read more

Beware of The Tiki Express car wash, New Bern, NC....on 1-2-2025 the gate fell off and damaged my 2024 Ford 250 truck ! I felt the impact the gate made when it hit the side of my truck bed! I got out and took a picture of the gate and the damage ! Went inside the office, I Filed an incident report ! No one .. Never even tried to contacted me about the incident, they just ignored it and thought I would go away ! accidents happen and I was hoping for so common decency because of the damage to my truck ...nope they didn't care ! I returned 3-6-2025.. met a Rude Female manager..she produces a video on her phone ... proceed to called me a liar saying it didnt hit my truck ...I told her i felt it hit ...and looking at her video does not show the drivers side of the vehicle at all ! i returned 4-4-2025 with an estimated for my truck repair ! The cluesless hostile manager continue to treat me like a criminal and harrassing me for reporting the damage they did to my truck ! making up more of her lies, i had to call police for help ! The police said I have to file in small claims court! The owner never once spoke with me ! I had to go back in to canceled my membership and I have been a member since they opened ! ! Her ludicrous statement that I kept coming back to harass you ...is a outright lie, I have heard other other horror stories about this car wash ..check all reviews ! she even told another customer that complained that they made it all up ! sadly this business doesn't care about their customers and will tell the police your harrassing them for trying to get your car fixed that their equipment damaged ! When you called police because of their treatment ! Their made up lies trying to belittled and bully you is disguising! They have never reached out to me, not one time, I had to go to them ! I think filing an incident report is a complaint, Ma'am ..Your video shows the wrong side of the vehicle ... it did hit my truck I felt it ! I have not come in multiple times and harassed your employees ...I did not run after other customers trying to yell at them I was taking pictures of the gate opening up For a vehicle ! I did not refused to leave your property ... you never asked me too ! But good attempt at lying somemore ! I had to call the cops because your treated me like a criminal because I complained you damaged my vehicle, the cops did not have me removed .... i will get a copy of the police report madam... you harassed Me because I filed a complaint with you the tiki car wash because your gate hit and scratched my truck ! you refused to even call me or even tried to reach out to me ... I came back to try and get this resolved peacefully and you bullied me, So kindly please stop harassing me for your negligence! read more

This car wash has lots of issues. I went on a Saturday and the wash I received was not satisfactory. Plus, most of the vacuums were not working. The workers did not seem to care. read more
