Ended up Taking 7 days. they came out on July 2. Never replaced the Expansion valve bc this guy said it's not the Expansion valve, you have a leak. Took 2 1/2 hours to find the leak. Said the inside coil was bad, leaking Freon. He sent order to shop to get coil, should be a stock item. They will call you. I called them they said we don't have the coil in stock it will be 7-10 days to get it. I said are you kidding me. The guy was an absolute jerk to me, never even apologized for the first techs misdiagnosis, wasting a week on a part we do-not even need! It's 101 today was 102 yesterday. I said to them this is ridiculous I am supposed to wait 7-10 days after I have already waited 7 days. You haven't even apologized. He said there's nothing I can say or do to make you happy. They just don't care Don't even act like they care! I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life! Today is July 11. no air since June 25. They were supposed to have the part July 9. Still no part, my husband asked to speak to a manage, we have still not received a call from a manager as promised.

He performed the job quickly with his helper and left everything clean. Since this was a large job, I reached out to 3 other companies for quotes including some very large names and another family operated business. Adem was the last person I met, was more knowledgeable, and provided a reasonable price. His quote was significantly cheaper than the large, brand name company that operates in the area and in line with the more reasonable operators but provided slightly better equipment. I ultimately chose him after speaking with a neighbor who provided a great recommendation for him as well. The process was smooth, both units inside and out were completed within a day and half with little to no oversight or bother to me (I work from home). After the units were installed he filed inspection paperwork and was in contact with me until that was complete. My first mechanical inspection failed, because of faulty work that was done by a prior technician. Adem had warned me about those potential minor issues before he left as well. Adem immediately returned and fixed those issues at no additional cost. I saved Adem's information and will never waste my time getting other quotes if I ever have an issue with my system at this property or any others in the area. There is no reason to go with anyone else just leave it to Adem.

I had attempted to replace a garbage disposal, but had an issue with a pipe falling apart. I emailed Rick after 9pm that night, and he responded to my email by calling before 8am the next morning. On the phone call, Rick clearly explained the work to be completed. Rick made the service call himself early in the afternoon, and resolved my issues quickly. He was able to access our crawl space, and navigate his way down there to running a new pipe for my kitchen sink. He installed the Garbage disposal, and cleared the clogged sink drain. The work was performed professionally, quickly.. and priced reasonably. The bill clearly listed all work performed, and detailed pricing. I want to clarify that in no way was I disappointed in Billy. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was at my home within an hour of my phone call, thoroughly evaluated my situation, and with ease unclogged my drain. My issue was never with the service that Billy provided. My issue was and still remains an issue with standardized, blind pricing from Roto-Rooter and throughout the plumbing industry. While I understand, every situation is different and a true quote cannot be given until the issue is evaluated by a professional, the fact that Roto-Rooter uses standardized, flat rate pricing I believe that some sort of transparency could and should be made available during the initial phone call or even on their website. During our conversation I was informed that Roto Rooter uses a standard flat rate pricing system. I was also told that discussions about pricing occur almost on a daily basis with customers just as shocked as I was. I personally feel if this same issue is repeatedly raised that it seems like an opportunity for corporate leadership to improve transparency and set clearer expectations for the customers before the technician arrives.
