Jared Martinez was the best!! He accommodated all of my requests and made my pup feel so comfortable at his first ever groom.

My pup before her grooming appt. They said she was in "bad shape" and couldn't help her. Started shaving her WITHOUT permission.

After a bad incident with JK's ruff house I called and asked to speak to a manager/owner and explained that I wanted to understand a situation that ensued regarding my husky. They never called me back so I will just warn you about my experience. We used them 1x before and they wanted to shave her then too and we told them not to do any shaving except sanitary areas. They were extremely rude on drop off but polite upon pick up so we decided to them a second chance since they're a small business. TERRIBLE!! They tried to SHAVE MY HUSKY! My boyfriend handled the drop off and said the groomer was extremely rude and made comments about "oh wow she's in terrible shape"....I've attached a picture of her the day before her grooming appt below. After they took her back, we got a call where the groomer said my husky was crying too much to finish the shave and couldn't help her. THANK GOD SHE SPOKE UP!!! I am appalled at the negligence. Unless ordered by a vet for medical reasoning you should NEVER shave a husky!!! She is also blowing her coat, the tufts of fur come out with a gentle tug of your fingers. Which proves they didn't even try to brush her. This establishment needs to acquire some education and compassion. I would trust none of these people with my dog ever. We all deserve respect from people - and that includes our pets.

Cooper! Cooper wasn't as bad as Tuck, but he looks amazing! Obsessed with how great they look!

Messaged the business on YELP and received a response almost immediately! They got me in that week! For my two new shih tzu puppies. They are 3.5 months old and I was nervous to take them anywhere! Let's just say, when I picked them up, they were scratching at the gate to go back in and be with the groomers! It was snowing and I was u sure about the appointment and if they would be open- I received a text from Kerry first thing in the morning and we pushed the appointment up an hour. I was SO pleased with this place. They were knowledgeable and genuine, and made me feel so comfortable. They even gave me exercises to do so I can get the puppies used to getting their faces clipped. Best part of all, they were efficient. Both pups were ready to go in an hour. I also appreciated the reminder appointment texts!

We've been going to this place for a while now. Every time we go they never do what we ask. Simple things like don't cut my dogs eyelashes or leave her head fluffy. Despite this, we continued to go since they were simple things we could get over. The last time we went they accidentally cut a mole on my dog and it started bleeding. They had her for hours longer than they should have and wouldn't tell us why until we picked her up. Again, we were pretty understanding it was an accident and went back. Yesterday they ended up cutting her TOUNGE and had to take her to the emergency vet! Both times we were charged the full amount and just given a simple apology. Definitely won't be going back.

Amazing service and I would not trust anyone else to groom my Golden doodle. I actually drive 100 miles just to bring to JK Ruff House.

The Sunday I went there was lots of parking in front and along the side streets. The facility itself seemed to need some attention & upkeep - the front glass window was cracked & the inside lobby looked a bit disorganized. In addition, customers are not allowed to tour the facility. As with most boarding places, all dogs need to have an evaluation before a reservation can be made. At this facility dogs have daycare with boarding. There is no charge for the evaluation. I made my evaluation time for drop off at 10am & pick up at 2pm on a Sunday. Thank goodness I received a reminder text the morning of because the text also said the lobby is closed from 10-4pm on Sundays. No one mentioned this when I made the appointment. I would have been very disappointed had I gotten there & it was closed. I did call & they asked if I could be there a little early & someone would be in the lobby for pickup at 2pm. I was not happy at pickup when I discovered poop all over one side, by the ear & neck on one of my dogs. The employee was surprised & apologetic, he took her in the back & gave her a bath. The employee was very friendly & personable. At Woof & Boots he said they try to be accommodating & flexible. For example, if some dogs like people more (than dogs) they allow them to hang out with the staff in the lobby, which is gated. They also offer the Bordetella Vaccine for $35 & provide a First Day Report Card with picture of your dog(s).

They even called me about it and I said "you can cut her shorter, but please don't shave her." She shaved her. I even emailed pics of her previous cuts there for inspo. I would have rather gotten her back as is than to have them shave her like it's 100° out. Her chest is bald in spots. Her legs and beard are uneven. I'm honestly speechless. I go to Barks on Broadway to have her washed every 3-4 weeks and they do a complete blowout on her with no issues for 3 years now, but she was "too matted" to brush out (for full clarity she was a more matted, but nothing to warrant this level of shave). If you have a doodle, I would not take her to this groomer. Same review left on Google

My dog, Buddy, had been groomed by Valerie at Luke & Company for more than four years. Valerie knew Buddy well, and for years I trusted her to care for him. Sadly, Buddy was recently diagnosed with cancer and passed away just a week ago. It took me some time to finally work up the nerve to call Luke & Co. because I wanted Valerie to know that Buddy had passed. When I called, I was shocked to be told that they could not find any record of Buddy or me as clients after more than four years of nail trimming appointments. I asked for Valerie and was told she wasn't available, so I left a message for her to call me back. The next day, I didn't receive a response so I called again. During that conversation, I was told by the manager, Annie, that I was "not a good fit" for Luke & Co. anymore. (WHAT) Considering why I was calling, that response was incredibly hurtful. My dog had died. There was no future grooming relationship to end. I wasn't calling to make an appointment or ask for anything from the business. I was trying to tell the person who had groomed and cared for Buddy for four years that he was gone. I also struggle to understand how there was supposedly no record of us being clients, yet I could simultaneously be told that I was no longer a good fit for them. I understand that businesses have the right to decide who they want as clients. But after four years of bringing Buddy here, I expected some basic respect and understanding, and I received a door slammed in my face. I simply hoped that after four years, someone might acknowledge some basic compassion and I know Valerie cared about Buddy. (I wouldn't be surprised if they still didn't tell her). Whatever positive experiences I had over those four years with Valerie are unfortunately overshadowed by how I was treated at the very end. Being made to feel dismissed by a business that had cared for him for years made an already painful situation worse.
