This is my go to dog daycare/boarding place. My dog is extremely shy and protective of me outside the house, but here he feels safe and welcome every time he comes to play. he's always so happy and well taken care of when we come to pick him up. I traveled from CA to TN and purposefully went out of my way to Denver to board Gristle at Woof In Boots while i did the rest of my vacation. They always send pictures of him and give me updates

Great customer service, easy booking and my little puppy looked snazzy upon pickup. Great groom! Parking available on main street or side street.

We got our small cavapoo groomed here yesterday and they did a fantastic job. Everyone was extremely friendly and responsive to questions I had during the booking process. The prices were a bit lower than what I have historically paid at a larger "big box" retailer but she looks super fluffy and cute. I didn't have to do my own touch ups like I have had to do with other providers. Don't be wary of the location with parking; there is ample parking on 8th Avenue or on any of the neighboring side streets (there is also a very cute friendly golden at the corner of 8th and Galapago).

    Clean, trimmed, and de-shedded doggo!

Good communication, timely and my boi looks super handsome! They did a great job following thru on making him look tidy and natural.

We took our Malamute/Samoyed mix in for grooming. We were pretty nervous about bringing him in- he's 5 years old, never been groomed, had some significant matting on his haunch and was an abused rescue. I spoke with Rebecca on the phone to make the appointment and she was so kind! Answered all of my questions and told me that my dog could be groomed away from other dogs so he wouldn't be as anxious. She also eased my dog mom guilt about all of his matting and never having been to the groomer. Our groomer (I can't remember her name but she was also very kind and communicative) showed a lot of patience with our dog during the initial assessment and was honest about how much work he needed. She let us know which part of him would need to be shaved and that it would be a multi-visit journey to get him in tip top shape. We picked him up four hours later and he looked absolutely glorious! We were shocked by how much she was able to brush him and how much matting she got out. We were ready to pay hundreds of dollars due to the extra brushing but our total was only $140. We were shocked and thrilled. This is the only place we will be taking him from now on! Thank you Woof!

    Bandaged leg from cut

The daycare/boarding at Woof In Boots was great, but the grooming was not a good experience. Our dog is a mixed breed with hanging claws on his back legs. We scheduled our dog for a few days of boarding and a grooming session for his last day. We spoke with the groomer beforehand and let her know what kind of cut we wanted. We also warned her about the claws on his back legs. When we went to pick him up, we noticed the bandage on his back leg and asked the groomer what happened. She told us that she cut the back claw with her clippers and put a bandage over it to stop the bleeding. She then laughed it off, saying "it'll probably never grow back." She didn't apologize or anything. I spoke to the rep at the front desk about what happened and was given a discount on the service. I rarely leave reviews on Yelp, but I feel obligated to warn other customers about this groomer on staff to prevent any other dogs from having this issue. We had to schedule an appointment with the vet to make sure it doesn't get infected or need any further treatment. Poor guy has been licking the bandage off and on since we brought him home. Unfortunately, we won't be going back anymore because of this.

Ask the Community - Woof In Boots

Does anyone know if they are still open?

Yes Woof In Boots are still open!! Monday-Saturday 6:30am-7:00pm Sunday 8am-4pm…

It is $75 for a basic wash for a large dog. Is it really worth that much?

In my opinion, yes. I have two large dogs (Goldens). They always leave looking really good (fluffy and clean). They don't use drying crates or anything like that. My dogs are treated very well while here and they always look great!

Working from home, with an energetic 1.5-year-old pup and no enclosed yard, was proving quite a challenge. Dogdrop was a welcomed relief! The initial "good fit test" or trial was a piece of cake, and the corresponding report card the team left us with was an excellent touch, providing insights into Kaya's command and socialization skills, as well as personality. And, of course, her acceptance. Finding out about the new friend Kaya made so quickly that day, and receiving candid photos of her enjoyment, was the cherry on top. We were also pleasantly surprised with the engaging monthly and weekly activities Dogdrop has in store for our fur baby, and others'. Arts and crafts (yes, Kaya painted, and we received the masterpieces on our following visits!), puzzles and agility course time, themed photoshoots, and endless playtime with both fellow attendees and the heartwarming staff. The facilities are also clean and well maintained. What makes Dogdrop especially user-friendly are their flexible hours - no reservations needed. We love the option to drop Kaya off and pick her up as our schedule permits. The swift drop-off and pick-up process, combined with the staff's effort to recognize each dog personally, is commendable. They will even assess and adjust the group level your pup interacts with based on their size and personality. Affordability is a plus with their reasonable membership options and hourly rates. The bonus day for members is also a nice touch, offering one, eight-hour day per month before the hourly rate kicks in. And the staff's dedication shines through, from sharing photo updates throughout her visits to friendly check-in texts when they haven't seen Kaya for a few days. Although the facility is indoor only and does not permit outdoor activity (due to location, risks, and other challenges), for us, personally, this does not warrant any consideration in our rating. Watching Kaya's extreme, tail-wagging excitement every time we walk up to Dogdrop is the best testament to their service. Big kudos to the entire Dogdrop team for providing such a stellar daycare experience for our Kaya. Highly recommend!

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. It's WELL worth the investment, and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in your dog. Thank you Loyal Hound & Juliet!!
