I have no sink with running water, no dishwasher and could not have Easter dinner. Their slogan is Max Granite done Right, that is a lie. Any reputable business would want to correct their mistake as soon as possible.

I did everything possible to avoid issues -- I confirmed timelines with my salesperson, Drew, to avoid a price increase and followed up with a call. Despite that, my quote increased. After some back and forth, they did honor the original price -- but the problems didn't stop there. Drew failed to place the order, even though I had submitted it and paid in full. That delay caused major availability issues, forcing me to purchase a more expensive microwave just to stay on schedule. When I needed to change one appliance, it took weeks just to get an updated proposal. I shared my install deadline well in advance, because I had out-of-town carpenters coming specifically to install the appliance panels. House of Appliances never got back to me in time, and I missed the window. Now I have to pay extra to get the panels installed later. To make matters worse, the refrigerator drawers and wine refrigerator arrived damaged. I was told they could be repaired -- but I paid full price, and I will not accept repaired appliances. These units are required for my Certificate of Occupancy and panel installation, and I still have no resolution. I even contacted a manager and have yet to receive any help. This kind of service is unacceptable.

Drew immediately welcomed us and then proceeded to spend nearly an hour going over all the appliances we were looking for: ovens, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. All the while knowing there would be no eventual sale. Drew Meltz is the best appliance salesperson we have ever met, hands down. He is supremely knowledgeable about his products, patient, cordial and a real pleasure to work with. When he returned to the store, he again attempted to explain what he needed and why what she sold him didn't work. She was again rude to him and didn't seem to understand the technical aspects of the system my uncle was trying to repair. I believe that any establishment that wants to stay in business should have a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff member that treats customers with respect. Perhaps this store owner should re-evaluate this staff member's customer service skills and offer her a refresher course on this, as well as the items she is selling.

New England Granite Works, Inc…read more 03-17-26 Review: I am a designer who contracted this company for two projects. Both were poorly fabricated and installed with damaged granite slabs. The owner claimed the slabs were chipped during loading, which is false. Timeline: Templates were taken for two residences. The templates were not followed in either project. The granite was cut by hand instead of using a CNC machine. Your employee admitted the work did not meet company standards and should not have been done by hand. Your proposed solution was to fill ¼" gaps and caulk over them. Wood or painted trim is not feasible around a cooktop or oven exhaust. This project has been ongoing since October 2025. Your company destroyed two slabs of numbered, book-matched material. Your claim that I am "taking advantage" of you is insulting. If the granite had been fabricated properly according to the templates, this dispute would not exist. Your proposed solution does not address the underlying issues and is unacceptable. I have been disputing this matter for over 5 months and living without a working kitchen. The owner is not offering any refund and replacement material and expects me to absorb the costs for both houses which is over $45,000.00
