The flooring has some damage and when I addressed it I was told they have pictures from before I moved in showing there were no damages and they will not provide these pictures even though I have showed them multiple times it's looked like this since moving in. My bedroom ceiling caved in due to the upstairs neighbors water pipe breaking causing my room to be extremely unlivable not even a month into living at my apartment and it took them 5 days to come and fix it so for 5 days my room left to sit. They did not offer anything in return such as putting me in a hotel or anything. My bathroom toilet has overflowed over 20 times and I've been putting request in for the last 4-5 months now and it's now just fixed. I've been nothing but nice every time I've addressed these concerns and there are a few other issues and they have just been very unprofessional and unpleasant during all of this. I've call many times and I keep getting told I will be contacted and I get no response. I'm being told I'm harassing them now. How is me complaining trying to get someone to come fix these issues harassment. I just spoke with sherry and she was honestly unprofessional. How do you rent something this damaged to someone and when you get confronted all you can say is why would you rent it then. Very unprofessional behavior and it's sad that this is how they treat people and then try and accuse me of these damages.

The medicine cabinet was missing its door when I took possession of the apartment, yet I am now being held responsible for damages that existed before I moved in. If a move-in inspection was completed, I would like to see the documentation proving the condition of the apartment prior to my tenancy. If you are claiming additional damages beyond the missing medicine cabinet door, I would also like to know specifically what you believe was broken and when that damage allegedly occurred. The condition of the apartment upon move-in was unacceptable. There were dead insects throughout the unit, and it was obvious that proper preparation and cleaning had not been completed before I arrived. The most significant issue was the severe roach infestation originating from another apartment in the building. Management allowed the situation to continue for months, creating an unhealthy living environment for neighboring tenants. It took approximately seven months before meaningful action was taken to resolve the problem. Even after the tenant in Apartment #5 was evicted, piles of trash and debris were left outside for weeks before being removed. Maintenance issues were handled with the same lack of urgency. When my refrigerator failed, I was left without a working refrigerator for an entire week before a replacement was provided. This created a significant hardship and demonstrated a lack of concern for tenants' basic needs. Another ongoing issue was a roof leak in the bedroom that was never properly repaired. Rather than fixing the source of the leak, management simply replaced a ceiling tile. The roof continued leaking throughout my residency and was still leaking when I moved out. I emailed management about this issue on April 29 and never received a response. Winter maintenance was equally disappointing. Snow removal was neglected throughout the apartment complex, creating unnecessary inconvenience and potential safety hazards for residents. I ultimately had to shovel myself and my neighbors out by hand because management failed to fulfill its responsibilities. Throughout my tenancy, I repeatedly dealt with poor communication, delayed responses, unresolved maintenance issues, and a general lack of accountability. I had to live with the consequences of these decisions for the entire duration of my residency. Tenants are expected to uphold their responsibilities, and property management should be held to the same standard. Unfortunately, my experience was defined by neglect, poor maintenance, delayed responses, and ongoing frustration. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property management company. So so sad why people like this are allowed to manage property is beyond me so this is just a fair warning to anybody that might be considering renting off these people.

The home inspector even commented to me prior to purchasing that he's seen a lot of renovated homes, and this one was clearly done right. He used high end finishes like Brazilian Cherry floors, granite kitchen counters, and marble in the master bathroom. He also took the time to have the brick cleaned on the outside of the house, exposed and restored original woodwork, vaulted the 3rd floor to create even more livable space. Everywhere you look, you can see that time and thought was put into the final product. It's been so nice having friends and family comment on the beauty and quality of the renovation too! Aside from the quality craftsmanship, Pittsburgh Property Guy himself provided top notch customer service to me when I had questions or minor issues that I encountered. He worked with me directly via phone and email, and was always very quick to respond. Their response to maintenance issues is prompt and they keep the neighborhood well groomed. The highway is nearby, but the units are so well sound insulated that you don't hear the traffic nor your next door neighbors. We are happy to be here.
