It was obvious that they are experienced professionals, and they took great care in making sure the wall was built correctly according to industry standards including creating a level stable gravel base, setting up the drainage, and perfectly straight lines of the wall on a sloped surface. They also included the planting, weed fabric and mulch below the wall and grass seed on top which made it low maintenance for me. It was easy to communicate with Ed. As a company they were very responsive to various questions I had before and during the process and their proposal provided detailed information about how the work would be done. They worked hard but also efficiently and got the prep work and wall completed in a week, including the removal of a very thick layer of ivy and groundcover before starting the building. They were also very nice people as a bonus! I would recommend them without hesitation.

For decades, Momma & I have used almost every landscaper out there (some which shouldn't even use…read morethe word to describe what they did!) We were positive that there weren't any reliable, decent companies/people out there for the simple job of mowing, edging and blowing. (God forbid we needed something else done.) Well. That was until I searched all my local Lakewood Facebook groups and saw how many +++++ recommendations LAKEWOOD LANDSCAPING / Travis had. We figured it was worth getting him out and giving him a whirl. (True, we had low expectations, colored by decades of our poor experiences.) To say we were simply floored is actually an understatement. Travis is the real deal: honest, communicative, professional, knowledgeable, flexible, and reliable. What more could you ask for? He makes himself available whether it is by phone, text or in person always. I appreciate his willingness to talk to us, to make sure we are all on the same page. Something that I have found working with other landscapers is that they don't listen. That simple. There's a lot of nodding and "sure, sure" but they are only half-heartedly hearing us. I have been continually surprised by his ability to repeat our wishes back to us --weeks later-- which builds trust. Another thing we were happy to hear is that he'll do what we want, even if it doesn't make the most sense to him. He recognizes that Momma and I collectively have 70 years of gardening experience between us, and may be coming at a project a little differently than standard landscapers. How refreshing! We have used services on the whole price spectrum, basic budget to high end and everything in between. I would place Travis in the middle range. We have used him for a month or two now and we couldn't be happier. Mowing, edging, blowing, weeding, spreading bark, trimming bushes... so far the guy's a beast! He just does not quit.
