Sol Landscaping was one of the companies who responded to my Yelp request for a big one-time cleanup and also a contract for once a month maintenance. Marisol and one of her workers showed up for the estimate and although there was a bit of a language issue, she seemed honest and sincere. She saw what needed to be done and gave me an estimate of about $3000. I thought the price was fair and hired them to do the spring cleanup. The maintenance price she quoted was $300 per visit. Before cleanup day, I marked with fluorescent paint the weedy areas and shrubs that need to be pruned out to make things easier, so there would be no mistakes (none of the workers spoke English, although I think they could understand it). The cleanup itself went very smoothly and they left the properties spotless. However, getting them to come out for a maintenance visit went the opposite way. Marisol wouldn't commit, and I called and texted several times to make an appointment. Finally she said they could fit me in the next day and I said okay. But no one showed up. When I called again, she said someone had gotten sick so they'd try again in a couple days. Again, a no-show. I finally gave up. It was apparent they were just happy to do the one big job and move on. I wanted to give two stars TBH for the frustration. But they did do the one big cleanup well. Unfortunately I am still on the hunt for a skilled landscaping maintenance company.

He was able to come out quickly for a quote and listened for what I wanted, asked questions if anything was unclear, and provided suggestions I didn't even think of. Merced and his team came out and did the entire project in 6 days, exactly as promised. Their team showed up early and worked hard the entire day. They always made sure to tidy up their tools at the end of the day too. I was very impressed with their detail of work and how well they cleaned up the entire job site when they were done. We are super happy with our new backyard and are excited that we don't have to shuffle a sprinkler head around the lawn this summer. Highly recommend A&M Maintenance for all your landscaping needs. Nothing for a week so I reached out and said they'll schedule the following week and they'll get back to me with a firm date. The week they were supposed to arrive, got nothing so I reached back out. Got another response saying she would get back to me first thing the following morning to confirm the date. Crickets... Wasted over 2 weeks waiting but, in the end, I guess they didn't want the work. My neighborhood loves it because honestly it looked like trash before, it was just rocks and weeds. I got a couple of estimates before Minh's, and one of them said they would not remove the rocks and weeds, and that they would just put soil over it. They charged almost triple as well. Another company said they could not remove the rocks and weeds. I was getting so desperate that I even put a sign out saying "free rocks, you haul" but nobody took them. Minh's Landscaping made my curb look BEAUTIFUL, so nice in fact that I have decided to start small remodels on the rest of the house, and we are going to stay there, because before I even wanted to move. We walked the property and he listened to my ideas and offered suggestions that made sense. He got back to me with an estimate that I was really pleased with and worked within my schedule.
