Overall this is a great venue. However for me, this will always be the Carrier dome, I know it changed in 2022... but since 1980 it was always I'll see you at the dome home of the Syracuse Orange. There's been a few changes over the years, I'm not a fan of all tickets are now paperless... there's always a few people holding up the line struggling to pull up their tickets. For me I liked to keep my ticket stubs from the events.... Security personnel have always been nice and easy to work with. Ushers for different events are ok, sometimes they need help for the different seating arrangements. We had floor seats for a basketball game and we had to go through three different ushers because they didn't know where we should go. Football games are great, not a bad seat. Basketball is a bit different, I will only go if I have floor seats. The court distance to the seats are too far for me. Over the years I've seen a few concerts, usually they are pretty good. read more

This place is AMAZING. Helene and I came here as a guest of our friend who is a season ticket holder. We came to the Syracuse - NC State game. A crowd of 49,705 fans packed the JMA Wireless Dome for Syracuse's 24-9 win over N.C. The game was the first sellout of the year and the 10th sellout in school history. We parked just a few blocks away and had a short walk over. They are very organized and it was very easy to go in and find our seats. This place was rocking. I haven't felt this kind of electricity for years. The stadium is beautiful and our seat's were perfect. This was really exciting as Syracuse was fighting for the win a spot at a Bowl Game. Mission was accomplished. The staff here is friendly and helpful. It seems that everyone is vested here. KUDOs to the staff and Syracuse University for maintaining such a great arena. read more

I'm only giving one star because I am required to do so in order to leave a review. This place as a concert venue is complete trash. No one knows what is going on. Every question asked is met with an "I'm. It sure". Directed to park at an off site location for 35 dollars and then can't get to venue in a decent time because traffic is literally at a standstill on every way to venue. Stand for hours in the bitter cold waiting on shuttle busses that just aren't coming. And staff had zero answers for the people. Then lied to and told 25 more busses are coming, only to have them never show. And acoustics here are garbage. Can barely hear the vocals. So if u want a trash concert that you have to get to 6 hours in advance and wait for 3-4 hours to get to your car, this is the place. Otherwise I would skip this venue at all costs! read more

I really enjoyed my experience this past weekend at the Dome. Not only did The Orange come from behind by out playing and out scoring ARMY, but the overall experience we had was very pleasant. From the Security check point through ticket check-in, to the ushers assisting with locating our seats to the Merchandise and food/beverage vendors to the overall cleanliness of the Dome....I've go no complaints. Everyone we encountered and interacted with were spot on, professional and helpful. Not a rude or condescending voice, attitude or expression. Looking forward to our next event...... read more

Absolute complete incompetence. The worst venue experience. If you direct people to park at an offsite location have the capacity to handle it. Also place the sign that tells people where to get the departing shuttles at the exit of the venue, instead of near the actual bus locations. This might help direct people rather than letting them roam aimlessly in the windy cold night. read more

Came to see Metallica for my husband's birthday. Where do I start? If you're mobility challenged, don't bother. We were forced to buy through Seat Geek. There were never any accessible seats for sale. I thought maybe it would be like some other venues where they would find you a spot by the railing when you arrived. The map made it appear there was a walkway behind the seats, so I picked a high row, figuring I could get to a concourse and just go down a row or two. I called and asked about Uber Dropoff, since the parking was $100 after fees were added. They said it was a walk - not too far - and it was uphill, but not too bad. It was a half mile. Up a steep hill. I was pushing a walker. When we got in, we did a complete lap, never able to find our section. I asked about an elevator - there was one, but it only went down, not up. I only found one women's restroom on our concourse and the line was insane. I held it for hours. Few food or drink options and you couldn't get near any. When we finally were directed to our section (the signage was very poor), we had to climb 15 stairs. Not too bad. My husband dragged my walker up since there was no help available. When we got up, we asked about siting by a railing or something. Nope. Not available. We asked about stowing my walker. We were instructed to go to Medical, so my husband dragged it back down the stairs, where Medical told us a dozen times they weren't responsible for it. We were directed down an aisle where people were already seated. The usher told us we could ask them to let us through but they didn't have to. Thankfully they were nice and moved. There is no concourse at the top. I climbed a massive amount of stairs that are very far apart between stairs. I had to do them 4 at a time. Once we were up, we stayed up. The seats are horrifyingly uncomfortable. The acoustics are really bad in there. It was hard to hear the artists at times, and the whole deck shook and vibrated. There were tons of people smoking all night long and the smell was awful (like a mix of vomit and beer). It was just not fun. When we left, a new nightmare began. We desperately needed water. Every place that had it told us they couldn't sell us any. No one could direct us back to the gate we came in at, so we could do down the hill to the Uber drop off. They kept sending us to gates that had stairs to go down to the street. Every single person we asked questions of while we were there had no answers, often telling us "I don't know", "I'm new here", "Not sure". Someone told us to take the elevator down a level and we'd be there. Nope. Now every gate had stairs going up to street level. And again, no one knew where to go to get back to the Uber drop off. A woman finally told us to go out, take the bridge to the parking garage, and find a cop there for help. So we did that. Except the cop didn't know. So we kept walking, asking as we went. Finally, we found someone who knew, but it was 5 blocks away in the cold and wind. After the stairs and the very long walk out of our way, I wasn't sure if I could make it. When traffic died down, I asked an officer for a ride to the point. Nope. When we got to the VA Hospital, we found a bunch of other people trying to get Uber who had been misdirected as well. All of our rides were being cancelled because we weren't at the official Uber pick-up spot, blocks away. The security was nice enough at the hospital to allow us to wait in the lobby. I finally got us a ride at 12:30 AM that was willing to pick us up at the hospital, but it cost me $80 because it was after midnight. The trip up was only $30. The worst part was the man in the staff shirt I encountered right before crossing the foot bridge. I asked him about the Uber pick up spot. I had my walker. He told me "Not my department" and walked off. I will NEVER attend anything again at this venue. read more

I havent been to the dome in over 10 years! I was pleasantly surprised at how much it was changed and developed yet still remains itself in a way. The lines to enter were pretty smooth sailing, theres no more wind tunnel that pushes you in/out at i think it was gate M? The temperature is controlled, the big screens allowed us to see closer views of the court and they installed handrails for the higher sections which are definitely a plus! read more

The dome has sunk to a new low leaving over 200 passengers stranded for over an hour. Closer to two they had no buses. Someone dropped the ball but no one will accept responsibility. Anyone that was involved should contact the dome and representatives concerning the disabilities act. This was very low of you all. After waiting for almost 2 hours, students rushed by elderly citizens. Pushing aside, a traffic control person got on the bus refused to leave. When management was called he hid in the corner and told the bus to go allowing the assault perpetrators to Go home to their dome while seniors waited read more
