Had a power issue that occurred Sunday night. It was out of the scope of PGE so I hit up Juan Monday morning. He got back to me promptly and was able to help me out same day. He did everything he could to investigate and find the root cause but with my unit being so old and the previous installation done poorly there was no choice to run a new line. He went back to his shop to collect the necessary supplies and in no time he installed a brand new conduit and line to get me back up and running. I needed an electrical outlet installed in my bathroom so I could install a new Toto toilet. I called Juan and he came out a few days later. He wasn't sure how complicated the job would be until he saw the actual layout and where the electrical sources were located. After looking at all the options he was able to install an electrical outlet through another outlet in the adjacent room. He didn't have to make any holes in the walls and the everything was done very quickly. Juan is an incredible electrician and provides top notch service. I hired Juan for a big residential job in San Francisco. He helped to remove old knob & tube, replace the 50/60s breaker panels (Pacific Electric that are known to be faulty and common in SF homes), upgrade electricity from 60A to 120A dealing with PG&E and San Francisco permitting flawlessly, as well as complete rewiring and remodel / lighting replacement of both interior and exterior with dimmers and motion sensors, all while we lived in the house. He installed new 220V for efficient electrical washer / dryer setups. JMC isn't the least expensive bidder, but his work ethic and doing the job right, the first time without multiple permit adjustments is worth knowing your electrical is safe and to code. Juan was attentive, clean, efficient, reasonable, and a nice human being! Always on time. Even the grumpy building department inspector said Juan was an 'electrical artist' and did excellent work! Not only did he fix that, but he also helped me with a variety of things around the house including installing an automatic timer for my front porch and deactivate a touch sensor on my sink.
