My property management company hired Jeffrey to fix a kitchen electrical outlet. When we spoke on the morning of Friday, Feb 14, he told me that no one was available that day. It would have to be next week and instructed me to text him my availability. Per his instruction, I text him that information. Later that day, without any notice, one of his guy sends me a text that he was downstairs waiting to get in. I was not at home. I sent him a text to inform him I was not available. On Monday, Feb 17, at 1230pm, Jeffrey tells me that someone is coming at 3pm. At 230pm, he sends me a text informing me that he is at the door. I was out at lunch. After we resolved the issue with PG&E, we asked Thee Electrician to resubmit our application to meet a tight timeline with PG&E, but after a week of saying they'd do it, nothing had happened. We submitted our own application online (took 20 minutes) and asked for the site plan that had been submitted with the prior application they did for us and they blocked our phone #. the contractor kept me on the phone for 10 minutes describing the problem and the different options for addressing the lighting problem. When I asked how much it was going to be, he said there would be a service call charge and then he'd give me an estimate once we were there. I asked for a range so that I could let my client know how much it would be and he said I was being "too much" and that he would not be albe to service me. What the heck? I'm supposed to let him come by and let him charge me for an undisclosed amount for a service call - and not get anything for it because I don't even have a price range of what it would cost to do any of the work? Seems like he wanted to take my client to the cleaners. As soon as vendors arrive, they feel a client is desparate and will just agree to any price. It's best to ask before the vendor arrives so that we have an idea of what to expect. Very poor strategy on his part. Not sure how he has 5 stars... read more

Had a breaker switch that kept getting flipped off. For a while I'd just turn everything off and on again and that worked, but one day that switch just wouldn't flip to the on position. Jeffery was responsive and available immediately with a quote of $150! When someone arrived the next day (Isaac! Thank you for your fast and professional work and advice on future work that needs to be done) the issue was larger than anticipated - a wire had completely burnt up, and several outlets needed reworking and replacing in the kitchen.
