What initially created the need for the call was a gas fireplace that would not ignite I had previously tried ChatGPT, called a chimney sweep company, and even called the previous owner of my house, all to no avail. Within a few minutes of of arriving, Jordan was able to locate the hidden shut off for the gas fireplace and get it working pretty promptly. While here, he was able to notice a couple of other things that needed attention. My tankless water heater had been installed incorrectly by the previous plumber, and the technicians from Hukill's were able to manage that. And also, when it came to a clogged sink in our master bathroom, they were able to address that as well. By the end of our time together I had heard some good stories from Jordan, I was able to practice my French with Joseph and most importantly had a lot of small annoyances cleared up (literally) leaving my home in better functioning order than when they arrived. SWAT was assigned to us by our home warranty service. I'm rating them based on their communication with us and the conduct of their plumbers. They get high marks on both fronts. Their notifications process is that you get a text when your plumber is headed to the call before you so you can get your butt home. Then another one when they're headed to you along with a link to track via gps. At one point during our saga, I called their office and left a message after hours. I got a prompt call back the next day. Points man! As far as the people go, the admin staff over the phone and the two plumbers we dealt with, Cody (legendary) and Jason were both polite and professional during their respective visits. I appreciate that they put on booties without me asking before entering our house. That's a big deal for Asian households. They explained the issue to us and the out-of-pocket costs associated with it pretty clearly as it pertained to our policy. They installed the new WH and did a good job, were efficient and left a clean work area. Based on this experience I would recommend them with the suggestion that if it's something complicated, get a couple of opinions and quotes (3 is better but out of pocket DX co$t$), so you can make an informed decision.

We've been using them for several years now, but our latest experience sealed the deal. Recently we had them come out for a sewer pipe inspection from another plumbing company which provided us with a yearly scope of our line. They discovered a slab leak underneath our home due to a shifted sewer line. The estimate to fix the line was very high. We decided to get a second opinion, so we called Clearwater. Jason and Andrew were able to come out immediately to check the line. They ran a camera through the line and did see the disconnection but further under our slab, quite a bit further than the other company noted in their estimate. Jason gave us a quote that was much more affordable. Jason told me the excavation crew could be there the next day. The excavation company Clearwater uses was wonderful. I've never seen 3 more hardworking individuals. It was amazing they were able to dig a 10' tunnel under our slab in less than 3 hours. A day later, Jason and Andrew from Clearwater arrived to take care of the repairs, schedule the final inspection and testing and get the excavation company to backfill the tunnel. Clearwater seamlessly took care of a major repair with finesse and professionalism. If you need a plumber, Clearwater is the one to call. Update, a few days later, we discovered a link in the plumbing under our kitchen sink. Due to me being an amputee and my wife with a broken right wrist, we were not able to make the repairs ourselves.
