Leak…read moreGeeks were the first to respond to my Yelp project inquiry, but I took calls from others afterwards. The coordinator had their plumber Spencer call me to see if I had any questions after our initial call. I initially brought in another company for an estimate but called Spencer back for a fact check to verify the first company's pricing. Spencer was able to respond immediately with what Leak Geek's pricing would be for the same pricing and said they could get out there within about an hour. I ended up hiring Leak Geeks, and Spencer got here within about 30 minutes of being dispatched. He did a great job identifying where the leak was coming from. It was a worse case than I had hoped for, but he found it. He cut and capped the line so I could still use the rest of the water in the house while the drywall was being remediated and the eventual repairs could be made. He referred a remediation company, American Water Damage, who had an estimator come out, again within about an hour, provide an estimate, and get a remediation tech to come out to move a basin, cut open the upstairs wall, and place fans and a dehumidifier. I'm impressed and relieved that they could get all of this done in the same day. Spencer was friendly and professional throughout. I couldn't have asked for more (except for the leak to not have happened in the first place).2

I cannot State enough how incredibly nice and professional their staff and crews are. Their team helped someone close to me and they were in a very bad spot. They were quick and efficient in their work and gave a price that beat all of the other competitors. Buy thousands of dollars. I believe this company deserves as many reviews in the positive as they can get so I'm writing this review to let anybody know reading that this company is a five-star company through and through and their team with Matt on it is one of the best in the state. After reading reviews, I knew my decision wasn't really about the price--I was planning to hire Top Tech anyway. What disappointed me was that the estimate appointment had to be canceled that day, and I was even more frustrated by the interaction with the lady on the phone. As a business owner myself, I believe in taking care of customers and honoring commitments. If I have to do the job myself, I do it--I don't cancel on clients who are depending on me. The phone conversation felt rushed, and it seemed like she was trying to get me off the phone as quickly as possible, which I found annoying. However, Zach came out later that same day for the estimate, and he completely changed my impression. He was professional, honest, hardworking, and got straight to the point. It was 92 degrees outside, and I genuinely felt for the guy working in that heat. He provided a fair estimate, scheduled the work for the next day at 1 PM, and then actually arrived two hours early. The quality of the work was outstanding--top-notch service. My brother is an electrical engineer, so I have a decent understanding of electrical work, but he lives far away. I still have a lot more projects to complete around my house, and I will definitely be calling Top Tech again. When I do, I'll be requesting Zach specifically. Highly recommended.

Otherwise they won't show up until they finish their previous jobs, if they show up at all.

I was very pleased to find Legacy Plumbing who clearly had the best reviews for plumbing services in the Dallas area. I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. Jason and his wonderful team did exactly that.

Done obviously to try and sell me products that I don't need and didn't ask for. Indicating along the way that if I didn't buy this crap Howze could not warranty any of the work I did have done. PURE AND OBVIOUS SCAM! My water pressure is just fine. My chlorine level is just fine. Reading through the yelp reviews of your other customers (which I wish I'd done before calling you in the first place) reveals that all of your customers apparently and magically have dangerously high water pressure and toxic levels of chlorine. The "four clear options" you presented me were as follows: 1). Let you send more "technicians" out to do all this crap for God only knows how much. 2). Install the garbage disposal and forget the leaking faucet (with none of the work warranted, due to unresolved mythical high water pressure & chlorine levels. 3). Install both the garbage disposal and the new faucet (with none of the work warranted, due to unresolved mythical high water pressure & chlorine levels. 4). Do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and leave the premises for a cost of $79. BY FAR THE BEST OPTION! So you "understand that, having done DIY work in the past, some jobs may appear simple on the surface." I have literally done EXACTLY both of the jobs I asked for before. They "appear simple on the surface" BECAUSE THEY ARE SIMPLE TO THE BONE! I'm so happy and thankful that you "respect" my "choice to go with a lower-cost option". Good luck with your "transparent, thorough, and professional service that prioritizes the health of my home." It surely is transparent, I'll give you that @SlyDogLando.
