It is unacceptable to give a customer a hard time over a basic need, let alone target a toddler's toy. Later, while my husband was paying, our toddler was just moving around nearby. She didn't touch or break anything. At that exact moment, another customer walked out, setting off the door alarm. Instead of checking on the potential shoplifter, the cashier next to us snapped at my husband with an attitude, saying, "Go watch your kid, please." The staff completely failed to handle the actual security issue and instead chose to take their frustration out on a paying customer and a harmless 2-year-old. We ended up purchasing an entire outdoor set for my mom and brother's new house including a patio table, chair set, and umbrella and base, much of which was deeply discounted at the floor model price. The team also let us hold some things in the back so we could come back for items that didn't fit in my car on the first trip.
