She's also responsible for my mother's and sister's dos as well, and with no exceptions, is awesome. I haven't made use of her other services (tanning, nails, waxing, etc), but if she is as fabulous at those as she is at cutting and styling hair, I'm sure that would be a rare treat to experience. Joann is friendly, vivacious, a great conversationalist, creative, and she knows her hair -- what it can and can't do. I've been to a few stylists that make my hair look great, but I can never recreate it at home -- Joann is always very realistic about what the style is going to look like when *I* style it, and is honestly about what won't work with my super curly hair (unless I'm aiming for a Jew Fro). All in all, I love Joann and Spectrum Salon, and hope she's around for another few decades!

She gets that! I can change my cut/ color/ length and everything every couple weeks if I want while still maintaining the integrity of my hair. So I see her about once a month. If you need to feel like a super star or just fabulous for a while I'd come see my girl! She's amazing and also very gentle, no harsh products or techniques.

I'm just coming…read moreback to tell her about this because years later, I realize it was a problem and posting this will help me stop thinking about it and hopefully be helpful, constructive criticism. My scheduled ride fell through at the time I was supposed to be picked up to go to my appointment, I called the salon she was at the moment I knew I was running late and then kept calling every few minutes to make sure I didn't need to cancel, they keep tell me no it's fine, please still come. The second I get there, Terra scolds me for the first few minutes I'm there for being late - very little attempt at professionalism or politeness - and how I'm wasting her time and disrespecting her. After I tried so hard to communicate with the salon about the situation as promptly and clearly as possible. Maybe they weren't communicating to her as I was making these calls, who knows, but regardless, I was then extremely uncomfortable the entire time I was in her chair and never wanted to come back afterwards. I understand the issues with being late to appointments like this, which is why I tried so hard to do my part in making it right when I knew it was happening and couldn't do anything about it. Still, being lectured like I'm a child in a store full of people, after doing all of that and being *asked* to still show up - I'm guessing she was taking some external frustrations out on me - made it impossible to consider coming back. It's rare to find a stylist as passionate and talented as she is. I play music and she does hair for all of my bandmates & they love her too. She did hair for a photo shoot for one of my bands. I went to see Natasia at Sinful Salon yesterday because of a Groupon…read more Natasia was very nice and the haircut is wonderful. The color, however, is so disappointing. I made an appointment for balayage highlights to avoid the harsh lines of foiled highlights and came out looking as if no color was done AT ALL. I told her that (1) I wanted lots of blonde put in my dark brown hair, (2) I wanted the highlights to begin pretty close to the roots, and (3) that my hair doesn't bleach easily -- she would need a stronger concentration than she'd expect. 90 mins of color processing later and I look NO DIFFERENT than when I sat in her chair. I don't have strong blonde highlights anywhere and the only color I have on the tips were from 17 months ago -- the last time I managed to save up the money to have my hair done. Keep in mind, she will TEASE and tangle your hair as part of the "dye" job. Having it combed out again after the wash was incredibly painful. Again, the cut is amazing, but I paid to have my hair colored blonde again and got nothing out of it. It's hard to cope with saving up, managing to find kid-coverage, and driving out to Littleton all for nothing. She's very sweet, but Natasia will do what she wants to your hair and it may not be what you asked for at all. Very disappointed. I can't speak for any of the other stylists but do NOT see Natasia. You'll regret it as I do.

I have very curly, thick hair, and I'd like to think I'm not picky, but I do have standards!!! I've been searching for a stylist for a long time. I found a Groupon for Kayla. She is located close to my home, so it was pretty convenient. I was able to schedule my appointment online and her location was easy to find. She was incredible!! My hair looks so cute! It's blonde (not white) in just the right places! She cut it in a way that if I want to wear it curly I can (its so hard to find a stylist who is comfortable with curly hair). Even though I was a Groupon customer, she treated me like I was paying full price, and my hair looks like I did!! I have her card, and WILL be contacting her to do my hair in the future.

The line was non-toxic smelling and didn't burn my eyes while processing and on top of that, my hair felt better than it often does after color processing.
