No matter what I'm working on, they always have exactly what I need at a good price. The staff is incredibly welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. Whether I'm hunting down specific brushes, looking for the right paint for a mural, or trying out new materials, they always point me in the right direction without any pressure. You can tell they actually care about artists and understand the tools we use. Their selection is huge -- from professional sign-painting and pinstriping supplies to spray paint, inks, canvases, and everything in between. It's one of those places where you walk in for one thing and end up finding five other things you didn't even know you needed. Memphis is lucky to have a place like this. The store is bright, fun, and stocked to the brim, but super organized. You can find everything from stationary, pens, wrapping paper, milestone/ customized paper, cards, and gifts. They carry Kate Spade, ban.do, Christian Lacroix, and a bunch of other cool brands. I also spotted some Sugarfina near the cash wrap and couldn't resist picking up a couple of boxes. All in all, this is a pretty cool shop and their sales team is super helpful without being pushy. I'll make this a regular stop for me whenever I'm on this side of town.

Came in today to purchase a couple of items and as she's scanning them, she mis-scanned some items and I brought it up to her. She began getting nasty with me and was rude but I kept persisting. Then she began mumbling to herself while I was still standing in front of her. You'd think that an older woman would be a little wiser and nicer but that wasn't the case here. If she's having a bad day or something then she needs to go sit down and calm down till she can speak to customers without being rude to them.

I ordered 3 yards 108" MDG Marble Tonal in burgandy. The quality of the fabric was poor in my…read moreopion. I washed it before quilting and it bled badly. The fabric was rough feeling after washing. Then there was a long area of fading across the length of the fabric. I will not be buying again.

Seriously disappointed after several years using MDG. I…read morebought one of their Earth Tone Jewel 108" backing for a very special quilt for a client of mine. it bled so badly it turned the cream background in the patchwork a medium blue. I emailed asking if they had any recs to remove the bleed and heard nothing. after a week I called and was told my issue was sent to the owner. I spoke with him on Dec 9. within a few days I sent pictures of the disaster along with a video showing the color bleed issue in cold water. He wanted me to send the quilt to him so they could consult with the fabric manufacturer. I refused as it was a special holiday/graduation gift my client had commissioned. I washed the quilt a total of 10 times with various color catchers and even Synthropol to get the color out of the cream fabric. Although it faded, it was still a light blue, not cream. A MONTH later I emailed again and still have no response. Not only did I refund the money my client paid, but I repurchased similar fabrics and batting and am remaking the quit for free (to the client). I still have remnants of the fabric as well as the stained cream fabric from my video to send to MDG. I am cancelling my account tomorrow regardless of the assurances that I "am the only customer who matters to me right now." a quote from the owner on December 9.
